Would you believe it if I say I'm not me anymore
Would you believe it if i said I died once leaving my throne
Like that one song feeling like my home ain't my home
Would you believe it if I said I'm fading away
Facing this pain, I'm failing again
Chasing my dreams, I'm choosing with grace
I'm hating this realm, I'm losing my taste.
Used to once wanted to save face
But now I let them speak, just for my own peace.
My life is like a thesis. Every stage is for different audiences,
Every importance is a chain link to my heartache.
These scars are battles. I fought in silence and won
Feels good knowing no one can see through what you've built
Cause those days still haunts you like Halloween.
I've grown immune to what doesn't hurt my pride
Grown to love those who love me and leave the hate behind.

Humpy Trumpy secure on his wall.
No matter his crimes, he's
immune from them all..
Through all the court systems and
charges that pend, and racial
slurs that should offend, Humpy's
Maga might may win in the end..

She’s a little missile
Hears my whistle
Pretends it’s a whisper
Too busy with her sniffer
Every doggie has a nose
Some worth more than gold
My little one, uses hers for fun
She ignores me in her hunts
It smells good everywhere
She doesn’t care just where
But catching her’s no fun
When I call she’s off to run
How to get her back
Will she listen if I snap
What about a snack
That I’ll carry in my pack
She’s a little missile
Hears my whistle
Pretends it’s a whisper
Too busy with her sniffer
Maybe I can give
A toss to a twig
Oh forget that she’s more beagle
Than she’ll ever be retriever
I’d rather not chase
Seems a little haste
Maybe just wait
Till the squirrel scent dissipates
You know they trained her kind
From way back in old times
It’s ingrained in her blood
To follow scents for fun
She’s a little missile
Hears my whistle
Pretends it’s a whisper
Too busy with her sniffer

Maybe you don't think about me,
but I will fight for you silently
with complexity, as long as we live.
Though you seem to underestimate me,
I am a necessity.
Like an instituted patient,
you medicate my zest
and inject me with poison's prick.
Why must you suppress me?
I will do what I can with restraint's attempts.
Please don't worry
or deprive yourself of sleep.
Sugar weakens me;
so sweet, you bring me to my knees.
My armies will protect you
as long as you'll let them.
Restore your defenses with healthy flora.
Let me exercise in nature's breath
and nourish my strength on garden abundance.
From living cells to living cells,
I'm designed to thrive.
Like a spouse I'm entwined in you,
committed until the end.
You will miss me when I'm gone,
because without me,
you will cease to exist.

It isn’t just the young who are deceived.
We’re not immune—we who are growing old.
We sometimes may forget this basic truth:
Not everything that glitters can be gold.

...earth speaks....
humans....you made my body sick....
so much poison garbage in it....that...
my immune system replies....as it sees fit....
all species must be culled at times....for....
the survival of others....including a 'questionable'...
species that claims control....over earth....
humankind....analogous to a germ....
taking control of....mankinds own body....
results can be the same....catastrophe....
so....earths immune system kicks in....
evolution creates more and newer forms....threats to...
lessen the 'humanoid pathogen'....bring it back under control....

None Are Immune To Ceaseless Ravages Of Time
In vain we beg for that which once we had
Things Time destroys with its whispering ease
Sometimes its destruction is not so bad
and at others, ones best gems it will seize.
Time eats away as a ravenous beast.
With cold indifference, on all it feasts.
In eager youth we are too often blind
To wicked hands of invisible foe
We deny its bites with inventive minds
Using our dreams to alter life's true show.
Time eats away as a ravenous beast.
With cold indifference, on all it feasts.
Realization comes one fateful day
we wake to see Time's long, razor sharp teeth
bitter fruits of it having had its way
seeing graves of those its laid underneath.
Time eats away as a ravenous beast.
With cold indifference, on all it feasts.

Love heals the hurts that time
is unable to numb.
When people learn to smile,
Hope is immune to tears.
And trust builds foundations
that support friendships.
But respect is the glue
that holds it together.
Dreams test-drive alternate
realities, risk-free.
While lies are commonplace,
truths remain elusive.
Santa Claus is a myth;
there is no magic sleigh.
But Christmas is real;
and wishes can come true.

A disease that doesn’t let me eat and drink
A disease that doesn’t let me take drugs
A disease that doesn’t let me fight thugs
A disease that doesn’t let me touch and taste things
A rare health disorder that is the mother of sufferings
A disease that doesn’t let me see the beauty of The Universe
An adverse disease that is a curse
A disease that won’t let me kiss my beloved
A disease that is still not perceived
A covered disease that is hidden like underwear
The father of fear that doesn’t let me hear
A disease that is worse than hell
A disease that causes pain in every cell
This disease is IgE mediated multiple hypersensitivity.

Cancer strikes terror in people.
Awful prognosis, scars a family.
Nasty disease that hurts and kills many.
Children should be immune, but they are not.
Everyone thinks they know, but actually…
Rarely do we realize what a family lives through with this horror.

Flitting in a distant flash,
a fleeting glimpse, seen far off for a second
is all it takes to shutter a flutter in memory banks.
To trigger recall, perhaps a deja vu replay brief.
Our mind constantly trawls
for associations in the swirls of a crystal ball
in every scene and furtive glance we see.
Nothing is a new release, a gala opening night.
All we see are shorts and replays,
snippets of this scene linked with that,
bits of past mixed up with present,
left-overs mixed with anti pasta.
How nice it would be to have
memories wiped clean like as hard disk crash
to see everything new again, untainted by recall.
To be able to switch memories off and on at will.
To choose what and when we want to be reminded.
To choose when we simply want to sip up the new with a straw.
To taste the scene devoid of context,
immune from concomitance.

IMMUNE
I saw a crack-head lying in a ditch,
resting peacefully upon the soft mud,
scratching at what he thought was an itch.
It was a creeping and nasty bug!
A group of church folks pass by,
and looked upon him as an "it."
They too were far from God’s love.
It went through my mind to ask the question,
why, how, can a man accept to be so low,
to feel no guilt, or desire to cry,
no purpose to live, or no proof to show?
Immune! immune to these things you see,
had became a repetitious part of time,
they became a way, or a part to be --
they became his "state of mind."
A cowboy who sees his father chewing;
he, too, chews and grows to accept it .
A black boy, who sees his father drinking,
out of low self-esteem; he, too, begins to drink it.
America has cheated, lied, and
dealt a crooked hand;
now, Americans have grown to love it.
We became immune to what is constant in our lives.
I smelled a rose, it was so soft to me ,
I picked it up and held it in my hand.
I wasn’t immune to its' beauty, and so, I put it close to me,
desiring it to become a part of me,
but it slowly died -
it wasn’t immune to me.
