Immune To Tears
Love heals the hurts that time
is unable to numb.
When people learn to smile,
Hope is immune to tears.
And trust builds foundations
that support friendships.
But respect is the glue
that holds it together.
Dreams test-drive alternate
realities, risk-free.
While lies are commonplace,
truths remain elusive.
Santa Claus is a myth;
there is no magic sleigh.
But Christmas is real;
and wishes can come true.
