Immortalization Poems | Examples

Rampant Foe Covid-19

Searching somewhere beyond sight,
For miens and visages propelling into quotidian lives,
With smiles, blues and not so much to cry,
Swept away every scratch of soul,
This wave not seen, not felt, not known.

Sanatorium thronged disquiet,
Medics and Paramedics taxing
Efforts reclaiming lives,
Risking theirs in face of time
Pining on hope to seize it fine.
Sun dawns again with no reminder of light,
But to know somewhere someone would never rise,
In this gloomy game of toll rise.

This Banshee built invisible walls
In these ghost towns no one in and barely out,
But far reaching to the cruise stranded out
Haunting world all around.

Eyes of dilemma filled with fright
If it would be I or the sight of slaying mankind,
Diminutive demon crept in will go away with time,
Not about duration but loss left behind,
With things unfolding beyond sight.

Laughing at every mile
In the face of civilization,
Pandemic touching horizon,
Questioning era of human immortalization
Reminding so little is known and so much to learn,
Devising tactics not only for wars alone
Nevertheless for dormant rampant foes,
Though shaped like a crown but not the crown of our lives.

No Difference

Walked in revealing outfits
Dudes who wasn't gettin none from they girl she was outlet
Cum she doused with
And swallowed ounces
The diseases in her is countless
Pussy he pounded
Women saw the size and became astounded
Fukin from west to east and back west for the round trip
Kutchi is what he was cravin
While you off at work he destroys your wife in basement
Key difference she's a hoe he graduates into immortalization
He's Hugh heffner in the makin she has no friends reputation tainted
He wild ways are looked as a sex addiction
And in the end he was a victim
She gets kicked out of church and stripped away as a Christian
Hmm let's a glipsm in
Explain to me the difference
Biblical sins they both commitin
Or maybe he's not he has a fear of commitment
And she's just commitin sins longer after her shift ends
6women 6hours 6hundred but he's a escort no arrest no sentence
She receives slurs and infliction he gets praised and exemption
When in actuality there's no difference

Radiant Gift

Her eyes tell of her deep compassion and love for all.
Glistening in beatitude, a gleaming star so divine,
Heart beating with passion, deserving everything fine,
Upon her celebrated day of birth, I made the call.
As I gazed into the Heavens, upon the beauty I saw.
My Baby’s face came into mind; I named the sign.
She deserves immortalization upon the skies design.
I purchased a celestial body from a map on the wall.

For her day of blissfulness, I gave her a reflective piece
From the firmament of heaven, she will last forever.
Now she can gaze upward and feel a loving peace.
Her spirit held and guided, with such glorious endeavor.
Truly, definitely, she deserves more than this lease.
My lover and friend, and her star, will never sever.

I Saw Him Standing There

I see you there,
painting a literary facade,
thumbing through Cervantes
as though it has usurped your very being.
Your unenthused stance reveals your ruse
as do your constant glances in my direction.
In my quixotic state, I wonder if you
fancy me your Dulcinea
or if you merely question why
I scribble so wildly upon the page.
You, Sir, are my current inspiration
and I shall not tire until our story ends.
Peripherally I register how slowly you move
toward the books behind my chair.
I want to turn to you and recommend Solzhenitsyn,
third shelf down on the right;
but hesitate to be so revelatory
about my interests.
Now I feel your eyes discreetly moving
up and down my page,
ingesting my words.
Realization hits.
Our eyes meet.
Yours ablaze with the knowledge
of immortalization in my poetry,
mine wickedly feigning innocence.
You turn on your heels and stalk off,
undoubtedly in search of a windmill to best
for your lady fair.
