Premium MemberI AM HYPERION

I Am Hyperion So Tall, So High, I Take Flight
He who goes Above, I Am the Light in the Twighlight
I Am the Sun, the Moon, Illuming the Veils of Sight
Ever So Luminous, I Illumine the Plights
 Soaring Upright, my Spirit Ever-Higher
from a Spark to a Flame, now I Blaze in Fire
Born and Reborn and Reborn again, now I'm Four Times Brighter
Four Times Greater, my Wings Ever-Wider
Feathers of Might, I Sail above the Stormy Nights
Ever they Glisten, I have Risen, Thrice

Premium MemberHyperion

hyperion
world’s tallest living redwood tree
higher than the Statue of Liberty
she oversees her forest
hypervigilant
all-knowing.
her subjects wave their leaves
showing their appreciation
for her protective service

Above the Crowd

The Hyperion tree
casts a very long shadow
across the garden.

Lilly, Yeah

Lilly, yeah, in winter the yards know snow,
As I know ice melts, yet can be re-stored.
Say fine-line feline, ya don't wanna go.
How many built-up banks must I yet fjord?
It's not just your voice that ya look to throw,
Lovely liquid not so readily poured,
You're mine, c'mon, let's say "Make it so",
I'm not blind anymore, my Bravest Nord.
I'm HypeRion, but that you must know,
Since you were savin' most of my hoard
While I flew in the grass so very low,
Time returns, let's see what all can afford.
We never go so far out of our gourd,
The Hour's come 'round 'gain to take up my sword.

Premium MemberI Am King Titan Saturn's Moon

I am puffed and proud, and full of myself.
You may call me King Titan, and stand back.
I am enormous, bigger than Mercury.
Saturn has eighty-two moons, but I am her pride and joy.
I am second largest only to one, Ganymede.
She is attached to Jupiter, though, and I do not play well with him.
I am attached to Saturn. Oh, Saturn, I love you! Oh, oh, oh, oh, Saturn!
Twenty-four of Saturn’s moons are regular satellites.
They bother me not in the least.
I am puffed and proud, and full of myself.
I am King Titan, I stand up and am counted.
My co-moon, Hyperion is locked in with me.
We are keenly aware of how important we are to Saturn.
Oh, Saturn, we love you! Oh, oh, oh, oh, Saturn!

Hyperion
                       high hiperion
                        tallest redwood, a marvel
                        trying to touch the sky.

The Golden Flame of Faith

A holy, amaranthine light,
Surely guides the world aright,
Lo! To distant nations yon,
The golden flame of faith,
Carries eastward on!

Promethean, the fire shines
And has shone, since olden times:-
Evangelists in days bygone,
Stole the sterling flame,
From Hyperion!

The flame the lamp-like Pharos bore,
Lit the ancient Grecian shore,
But, behold the valiant sight:-
The golden flame of faith,
Immortal, stays alight

The Oldest Trees

As Yggdrasil stretches into heaven
Hyperion watches a new Armageddon
As General Sherman towers above
Methuselah cradles a mourning dove

Old Tjikko refuses to bend
The baobab thwarts the wind
The Tree That Owns Itself
Will never, ever be compelled

The Cedars of God remain
Despite any flood or hurricane

A New Chapter I Must See

Back at the Pillar Of Life
Where I stated I'll change
This time I'm back to cut the strings
With this knife
A chapter I feel stuck rearrange
The angles now cross off the end
I state here that six paths will prevail
I borrow the Pillar Of Creation
Tend to state the problem here wind sail
A Pillar I question to often
My life this chapter nineteen
Other chapters of Nine to ten
I feel stuck between of I
My thoughts roam
I can't find my peace at home
I need your help Hyperion
The Pillar of Darkness is stronger than me
Show me the light to sail home to peace
At night I find my inner voice screaming
I cry to realize I'm a broken human
My dreams are day dreaming
To realize they'll never be real
If I stand with will they come to heal
So they can be real
But my demons have me chain steal of a power I bare
To understand
Care to know then look back
You'll see what I stated
Soon profound I found
A fate no key to open this gate
Behind the road of life
Just know I'll belong in the pages I write
I belong in the light of a moon at night.

Premium MemberAs Lovely Mannequins

Iconoclastic lots of marshiest beauty

Clenched sublime altruistic nature bore –
Morals indefatigably humbled, reasoning in bondage –
Bondage of the highest periphery
Blessings encountered in watered chaos.
Blocked nuts with scanty feelers,
Inducing mere bouts of euphoric impasses
Rarely a gift of fatherly nature.
Hay filled tubs called but heads
Preferably a misfortune
To their worthless masses.
Maevius a reader’s delight be
In the fumbling fold
Of this rowdy rendezvous.
More ore less classy oddities
On deferred pedestals
As lovely Mannequins
To display for sale.
Now Hyperion his burning sword behold
None to hear Triton’s call to arms.
