The Hungry Games Continue…

In a rose monkey moment
Hungry rides its pale horse
Into the sunset—Stunned;
Basketball bellies
Refuse to deflate
Even in death.
The hunger games continue…

The Hunger Games

She put a suicide note in my coat
She's in deep pain like the titanic
But I feel I can be her life boat
I can't respond to a death letter
So I put my feelings in this poem I wrote.
Sincerely I hope
You live with that deep quote

I know about the anorexia
How you force it through your throat

You and I at 17
Played the broken social scene
While others laughed you were the only one who got what I mean

Though

Time stopped in 2010
You had lost all your weight that's when
It cut me knowing I could never get you whole again.

Hunger Games

The Victor
Their cheers,
Your tears,
Blood drips from your hands,
Their lies,
Your cries,
You stand where the victor stands.
Was it worth it, worth the death,
Destruction, to your right and left?
Would you have, rather died?
Left someone else to bathe in pride?
Do you need the luxery,
Raid the Capitol's treasury?
A web they span to hide their lies.
A trick of the light in ways.
Jewels on your clothes stained red,
The blood of the childrens drained lives.
You must gt up in the morning,
Their haunting faces in your eyes.
You are the victor but you haven't won.

The Hunger Games

Enter the Arena

Buckle down

Ready?

Set?

KILL!

A gong sounds

We're off

The Hunger Games have begun!

Blades of swords crashing

Arrows whizzing

Run,run,run

Away from the cornacopia

Blood splatters,staining the earth

Bodies splayed on the ground

Some survive

Other die right off hand

Only ONE left to be the victor

Welcome to the Hunger Games...

MAY THE ODDS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOR!!!!

fire rages through woods
katniss injured, climbs tree top…
a plan to survive

mutant killer wasp
tracker jackers’ nest above…
entertaining games

poisonous stings ooze
with green puss and intense pain…
triumph applauded

The Hunger Games -Poem #2

Two wonderful boys
I am torn
One I must fight
One I may never see again

One my best friend
One I barely know
One I hunt with
One I must be in love with

One I spent my life with
One I may have no time left with
One who can't let me go
One who loves me so

What do I do
Do I have any choices
I don't think I do
I make my decision

One who I will
break the heart
One with who a
new life I must start

Welcome to The Hunger Games!!!!

This is based on a very good book called The Hunger Games (well good in my
opinion). This future distopian science-fiction novel is about future North America.
The Capitol is a very dictator-like establishment and starve their citizens then throw
them into the hunger games, a fight to the death on live television.
