To the extreme
My heartbeat pounds
A time to be redeemed
Circle comes around
Funky fresh feeling
A little bit of jive
I'm dealing with the dealer
Pure honey from the hive
Needing you
You want me too
My heartbeat true
Lieing gets you what you need
The truth they say will set you free
Either way
You took all the honesty
And gave a gift of agony
Nevertheless
Can we survive the test
Neverthemore
Don't walk out
That door
Craving misbehaving
My heart falls to the floor

Glen Hughs Contest
Crave
I could stop for a minute
And then be on my way
I'm a drifter through days of blue
Getting older...getting on my way
I could sing you my songs
And maybe you'd stay
A little love a little laughter
A little time for me to say
Oh the windmill keeps turning
And time is slipping away
I'm growing older...still
Hoping for tomorrow
And all my songs
Seem to be fading to grey
Where have you gone
A soldiers misfortune
Feeling like I'm tortured
Waiting for a moment
When you come back
To stay
Oh the windmill keeps turning
And time is slipping away
I'm growing older...still
Hoping for tomorrow
And all my songs
Seem to be fading to grey
Today Im Hoping for tomorrow..
Tomorrow I'm hoping for the day
When the sun will rise once again
Praying for the day

Glen Hughs - Deep Purple
My Take On The Song "Soldierof Fortune
I listened to Glenn Hughs sing a song
Released by Purple, Deep.
It was not the kind of song that would
Lull anyone to sleep.
It had a nice riff of the guitar.
You can take that to the bank -
About a lady who, for refreshment,
Our misery, she drank.
Next time I'm in a situation where
A woman like that I yearn,
I'd look the other way, but it's too late.
She lit me, and I can only burn.
Words are like a work of art
The visions they create
They can show us beauty
Or show us how to hate
Words can tell a story
Of romance and of love
Or nursery rhymes for children
Or tell of God above
Words can be persuasive
And create a law
Words can tell the news and weather
And tell what people saw
Words have even caused great Wars
Where many men have died
Sending home what's left of
The ones who did survive
Shakespeare used them beautifully
As did Frost and Poe and Keats
Langston Hughs, Maya Angelou
Emily Dickenson and Yeats
So choose words very carefully
Be aware of what you say
Cause words can really hurt someone
And they can't be cast away.
In nineteen hundred thirty eight
Howard found a new record to break.
Around the world the fastest ever;
Three hundred fifty two miles per hour.
He filled the plane with ping pong balls.
In case of a crash to cushion the fall.
He also had the bright notion.
They would keep him afloat should he fall to the ocean.
