Libby Clegg

Libby was 1990 born in Bollington in Cheshire,
But when she was older, eleven years of age,
She moved to Edinburgh, Scotland, to admire,
The Royal Blind School which she did stage.

She’s a sprinter competing in the 100m and 200,
But she trained and competed in normal events,
Whilst participating in Junior Blind Sport, bred,
And her brother was at pool 2012 S12 events.

At the 2006 Worlds she won a silver in the 200,
In the T12, and then in Athens she won another,
Then in January in 2011 at the IPC Worlds said,
She won a bronze in the 200m, a major runner.

In June 2012 at the European Championships,
She won both the 100 and 200m, and London
Saw her win silver in the T12 100m to eclipse,
Where her and her guide Mikail Huggins did gun.

At the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow city,
The pair ran the 100m in 12.20 seconds flat,
But then she had to get a new guide for her agility,
Chris Clarke who will do her proud in the dart.

Libby won the Para Athlete of the Year, October,
In the year 2012 at the Scottishathletics awards,
And then won it again the next year: David Wier
Presented her with her award to cheer in chords.

I Lost My Train of Thought

I lost my train of thought thinking about you. They say love hurts but i haven't
experienced it. I can't eat or even sleep. My world is falling apart because of you. It
hurts to know that your half way across the world. We just got married and your job has
snatching you away. You said no matter how long you were gone, you still love me but i
can't feel it. I need you. As weeks pass, i forget when your coming home. One night I'm
tossing and turning, i wake up and see you standing over me, you reach down and pull me
into your arms and kiss me with your tender lips.....i lose my train of thought.

Someone I Don'T Want To Lose

Something so precious and dear to you, you defiantly don't want to lose. Someone that
texts you at 2:00am because they know your up, you don't want to lose. Someone you run to
when your hurt and down & out, knowing they can make you feel better, you don't want to
lose. That someone you lay your head on his shoulder and release your emotions, you don't
want to lose. That someone that's always standing there, when the dust clears, you don't
want to lose. These are the type of people you hold on to and never let go of.

Last Time

As we both sit here, holding each others hands and caressing one's thigh... be both know
this is the last time.

Staring eye to eye, you look as if you want to cry....because its the last time.

You digging in my soul and rubbing my heart....this is the last time.

Placing your lips against mine.... this is the last time.

With passion and love in your eyes, as you grip my waist and kiss my neck....this is the
last time.

Soft sounds fill the room, as we end our celebration as our last time.

But i can't remove myself from you, my heart is so attached and my body also.

You get up and say if i wasn't married i would stay but we both belong to a family with
kids and the white picket fence.

He walked out that room and we both knew....THAT WAS THE LAST TIME
