Howler had been raised by the wolves since two
A toddler, she had been adopted with her eyes of blue
She was like them, she could enemy disembowel
A lone wolf, who knew how to really howl
A thunderous howler, who could keep up with the pack
She had their best interests, and they had her back
When she fell in love, it was with one of their own
They were best friends forever, their oats unsown.

i miss her
the cat who rode
on my shoulder
who liked blue cheese
and pastries
who would swipe her paw
to remove food
from my plate!
boundaries?
she ignored them!
she visited the shops
by herself
stretched on the sidewalk
greeted people…
for after all
she was
a street cat
she hunted
with the best
brought treasures
to share
independent
from other cats
dependent on us
for affection
more than food
she lay on my bed
waiting, grasping at
her last strands
i came home
wrapped her
held her close
felt her heart beat
she seized and
ceased.
i miss her.

This is the era of echoes—
Echoes inside my hollow soul.
This is the time of broken hearts
And lost minds.
This could be a golden world—
Yet instead we are all grey.
A sign of the times—a war within our
Struggling hearts that pump crimson
Blood which shall ooze and trickle from
Our weary eyes.
You’ve left me alone in this necropolis—
And deep within my sepulcher my corpse
Strains to call out your name.

How the igloo spectators did laugh
as I spun like some frozen giraffe
black ice caught me napping
jack frost “boo-boo” snapping
this whirligig skater a fly-half!

There once was a dragon named Bob
Who liked to eat corn on the cob
But alas without luck
That great corncob got stuck
The dentist now has a big job
