"There’s a Hole in the Bucket"

What an ugly world
when poets turn on each other
life is a bank of territories
left and right and lost in between, isolated in limbo
the revolutionaries silent I’s all outside drawn lines

the inner circles drugged on vitriol
think they know best,
it’s all holier than thou
the white hooded crusaders marked wearing

Black hole

Fill the void that sits inside my soul,
take away the cold, restore lost parts and rebuild my core and find a way for me to be whole once more.

Down the rabbit hole

In Wonderland's twilight, where shadows play,
Alice chased a rabbit, down a curious way.
The hole yawned wide, a vortex in the ground,
She tumbled in, and her world spun around.

Down, down she fell, through swirling lights,
A kaleidoscope of colors, a wondrous sight.
The air was thick with whispers, a gentle hum,
As she pierced the veil, and entered the

Premium MemberWoman Is a Hole

Woman is a hole,
Soft with spongey walls,
Press the button, make her howl,
Crash through her virgin halls.

A newborn baby, little girl,
Fresh kitchen rag to store,
Waiting ignorant of the day,
When she too will be soiled.

Decades later, kitchen rags,
Sit discarded in a bin,
A loony bin for hags to talk,
And squeeze out salty drips.

Streaming semen pulling

Black hole

Why can’t I exist without you? Each time I try to leave you suck me back up into your blackhole.
Can’t help but love you for the way you make me feel
it’s like a loop of love and I’m stuck in it, swirling around your finger and getting caught up with you once more.
But I

giant hole in the ground
I think of course snake
dragon emerges with barely a sound
frightened, I start to shake

at two a.m. the dragon flies back in
how did he fit into that hole for goodness sakes?
I look down and his giant green eye gives me a grin.
I smell the aroma of a giant clam bake

are you okay

Your Rain was tears on my window pane -
the first poem of yours I had seen -
pain-drops spattered a snow-blank expanse,
grief-blue with regret and what should have been.
I thought mediocre. Bad omen for you.
You who attempted to pour the blue,
to quench the amber arid air
and quell the mithering mistral.
I needed that oasis: sea spray words
to

“Love embodies in millions of forms and frequencies, not all known. Its intrinsic nature is detachment, with eventual dissolution into Godhead. The challenge is learning to move towards detachment using sensory reality, individual soul history & experiential phenomenon to achieve

LOVE LETTERS FROM A BLACK HOLE©2025 Sara Etgen-Baker

Gravity bends; time stretches, light falters.
Love letters appear through the void;
Written in the language of stardust,
their ink swirls like the arms of faraway galaxies.

Through the event horizon, I write back
penning my heart to you with stardust and hope,
each letter a promise that

The time I got from eternity made me a part of you,
as my desire flared like the blazing galaxy of the cosmos,
I was keen to see the day my dreams would come true,
when your love will pull me though the void of oneness.

The sense of yearning came in the zero hour of awakening,
soaring on

Beauty and the beast, two splendid hearts that beat as one. Beneath
Love's tender embrace, the Prince was destined to find himself again. .
A blossoming friendship happened between the beast and Belle
Castle sized emotions and devotion grew, for she saw what no one else saw
Kissing her with tenderness

Gazing the bright constellation in dark skies,
I asked my lover, would you like to be black hole lover?

We will spun into each other’s night—
Two collapsing stars caught in afterglow;
Your eyes, event horizons pulling me tight,
Where my soul folds deeper than light can go.

I whispered into your dark design,
“I’ll

grab your pail, we'll clean the sea
fetch a comb to coiff the sand
don't fall for burning cities, to be
eternalized
as a pinnacle of table salt
pinch me, porfa!
looking up/down—that's insurance
perilous looking back
psychics looking forward
pronouncing words
over tomorrow's world
should you be dissolved
by hands
furious at future-telling feats
well, you would have seen it coming...
stay simple
pick peppers
plant cotton
gin it
for reason
