Inspired by Black Hole Love (Max Frost) ************************************************************** I Shall Ever Be Who I Am O, my love, wherever you dwell I wish you well, I wish you well, With whomever you choose to live Whatever goals you wish achieve I shall ever stay by my words To be amidst my shining herds. Chorus You may flutter a million miles You may scan the African wild, Oh-oh-oh-oh, You may fly to the distant moon You may orbit the earth quite soon, Oh-oh-oh-oh, But in whatever clime I am I shall ever be who I am. True love need not beggarly be True love like a fly does not flee, But ever stands the test of time, Both in winter and spring does shine Like a real gem carved in gold And does not ever become cold. Chorus You may flutter a million miles You may scan the African wild, Oh-oh-oh-oh, You may fly to the distant moon You may orbit the earth quite soon, Oh-oh-oh-oh, But in whatever clime I am I shall ever be who I am. True love does not roll like a stone, Dipped down a black hole, I`m not blown, My heart awhile may take a toll, But soon my soul will become whole, Though your black hole love I shall miss Soon I`ll surface from this abyss. Chorus You may flutter a million miles You may scan the African wild, Oh-oh-oh-oh, You may fly to the distant moon You may orbit the earth quite soon, Oh-oh-oh-oh, But in whatever clime I am I shall ever be who I am.
