The Hold-up

He noted with much exasperation
Bordering on desperation
For his basic expectations
Were yet to get any direction
Despite his heavy expectation

Sorrow-eyed, harp in hand began to chant a tale.
Like gossamer threads dulcet whispers waver near evening gale;
swarms in cunning swirls and whorls and drawn
at the edge then wake trailing off with the morning dawn.
Softness of water silk falling into a mere sigh
warm embrace within the dim as it holds up the sky.

HOLD UP THE SKY

When the nights are starless and the days cloudy
Journey through vale of life isn’t what it’s meant to be
When the flowers turn pallid and the trees brown
On barren garden trail in secret tears of toil hopes drown.

When the road you travel is sorely long and the time finite
At the end of the dark tunnel of turmoil don’t see the light
When you’re in the wasteland in stormy nights of destiny
The splintered sky is falling all around you, you sadly see.

Without questioning the supreme designer and His ways
Wait for the glitter of the starry nights and the sunny days
Without complaint take the transient time of His as it is
Wait for the spring of the smiling flowers and the green trees.

If under falling sky your broken dreams lie in dejected debris
Travel within, search the soul and the divine light you’ll see
Surrender totally to His power, His will you devoutly comply
And you’ll get the inner strength you need to hold up the sky.

 Hold Up The Sky---

My God, Hold up the skies, O God for you've created all this, unimaginable bliss;
Lord, you paint the heavens in varies colors; lit up universal cauldron;
My God the massive colorful universe call out from out of your lips;
Lord the skies holds up heaven God embraces all His children;

God hold up the skies, as angels and all God's children fly;
Planets big bright, and small all glitter bright shines on;
My God, My God all mighty creator molds heavens dawn;
Lord as we 'ah' and 'wonder' and look up toward the skies we see with our eyes;

Just everything that is there all that's in the air,
 all possible God holds the skies;

Hold Up the Sky

I knew he was there to hold up the sky.
I always saw him hold up the sky.
It was his duty to hold up the sky.
For me he would always hold up the sky.

It was a pleasure for him to hold up the sky
For those who could not hold up the sky.
He never complained when he had to hold up the sky.
For any amount of time he would hold up the sky.

Now he is not here to hold up the sky.
I will no longer see him hold up the sky.
Now it is my turn to hold up the sky.
For someone else I will hold up the sky.

Dad it was you who would hold up the sky.
I know it was not easy to hold up the sky.
You always found a way to hold up the sky.
Thank you for teaching me how to hold up the sky.

Hold up the sky little bird
Have you not heard

Our world is falling down

The forests are gone
The weather is wrong

The oceans have all but drowned

Hold up the sky little bird
At least till you've heard

The last earthbound poet expound

A million little stars hold up the sky
Pinning it to the back of Neverland
A place where dreams come true
For those who can truly understand

Ohh Time, Just Hold Up

Just hold Up!

Moving swiftly, running away,
being nimble as always!
Let me bask a little more, you won’t be late,
My sunshine’s laughing, oh just wait!
The crawling feet, are running away,
Don’t pass so soon, do stay!

Just give me a minute, don’t brisk away,
Let me absorb the moment, before it sways!
Twinkling eyes are calling my name,
Talking gibberish, playing games!
Clicked and flashed, canvassed before you part,
Just help me capture this fluttering heart!

Hold on a second, whats the haste,
Take a breather, its not a chase!
The bundle of joy that cuddled in my arms,
In flash she grows, I can’t keep calm!
Too spry to catch up,
Oh time, just hold up!

Hold Up That Sword

Hold up that sword
when truth is violated...
don't destroy everything and everyone:
only evil must end for peace to survive!
Fight better than a warrior with a bloody urge
who seeks victory and revenge;
what satisfaction is there in being alive...
after all enemies are wounded and gone?
They would never learn love, but die tormented
as marthyrs, slaves and peacemakers have!

Hold up that sword,
by speaking your command
when peace is broken
and havoc spreads quicker than fire...
to bring all another dire:
remember Attila when he ransacked Rome?
Chalithra, have more compassion
towards mortified people who have been exploited:
you must explain to them that's wrong to be enslaved...
without having the vision of a place called, " Home. "

Barbarians were those who trashed everything
and killed, but they lived in different times:
violence against order and civility;
today there's another evil arising:
greed for power against truth and humility...
Chalithra, carefully choose your allies!
