Hesitatingly Poems

Unfortunate Appointments At Imperfectly Perfect Times

water flowing
i move not
unfortunate that i will have to leave quickly
i think about all that are no longer here
the water's sound eases my mind like it knows
i move not
unfortunate that life and time waits for nobody's nothin'
i think about being late
i think about not showing up
i think about those ugly ole ramifications
water flowing
humbled, i move now
i reluctantly get in my temperamentally mental car and hesitatingly depart

Premium MemberThe Wary Cat and the Hungry Dog

The cat eyed the dog, warily
The dog licked his lips, hungrily
The cat backed away, tremulously
   The dog edged forward, intimidatingly

The cat retreated faster, alarmedly
The dog zeroed in on her, aggressively
The cat let out a screech, panic-strickenly
The dog leaped for her throat, murderously

Let's pause this video clip, momentarily
And ask a couple questions, inquisitively
Why did the dog want to kill the cat, instinctively
And why didn't the cat beat a hastier retreat, curiously...

(Please click to restart the clip)

The dog paused in mid-air, hesitatingly
The cat sighed a little sigh, relievedly
The dog smiled a faint smile, sheepishly
   The cat me-owed once, tentatively

The dog's smiled widened, perceptibly
The cat shed a tear, joyously
The dog hugged the cat, lovingly
The cat basked in his embrace, snuggly

                     Finis

Ghost of Christmas 1

Am beautifully hurt
Though, gracefully taught

You still think am weak
While hesitatingly given a week

To plunge in his favourite hands
That combusted my convex bone cheeks

Perhaps, i smelt that act of cabalism
At same time, was left in surrealism

Its a welter weight, he looks sixpounds more
Once again, our laws are seeming lore

Likewise, standing here is a bigger lie
the last i uttered was 'fie'(upon you)

Rushing out of the square paced ring
Avoiding his mazed defeat and a lone beating

Accusing the men in suit of self complacency
While i was accorded victory.

The Flower That Blooms

In the sunny September morning
He went to find the most beautiful roses
For the girl, he loved the most.

He didn't realize that it was fall
Getting beautiful flowers wasn't possible at all
Still, he tried very hard

And then with disappointment, he plucked
A bunch of half dried roses and gasped
He went to her house with couple of thoughts.

Hesitatingly, he knocked the door
She opened and found him kneeled down on floor
With the bunch of pale and dried roses.

He was shocked he thought she would be angry
But she was so happy and in excitement
Her smile was the perfect thing he saw

He realised that her smile was no less than a flower that glooms
He should never search beauty in the whole world,
When he already has the FLOWER THAT ALWAYS BLOOMS

Love Doesn'T Run

Love doesn't run.
Love stumbles through like the drunk old man in the street.
Love is slow like the crippled old lady who tries so hard to live own her own.

The one thing love does not know is how you truly make this girl with scars feel.
Love doesn't figure the things I believe.
Love walks in a crooked line.

Love felt like some fairytale once we first started.
Now not so much.
Love is just some cruel word that crushes me inside.
Knowing you left without a simple goodbye or I'll be back soon.

Love doesn't run.
it simply walks in a crooked line.
Love hurts like the blade that hesitatingly touches her skin.

Love seems so sweet like the berries we pick in summer.
Love seems to walk sideways.
Love never stays with the girl who tries so hard to keep her man

Love doesn't even live in my heart anymore.
Since you left without warning.

Love doesn't run...
it moves so fast sometimes even too fast...
Love does not run...

Self Identity

I can’t be a human being
All efforts went fruitless.
‘Being Human’ is now
A day dream !

I turned into a stormy wind – a tempest
Destroyed nature, devasted biodiversity
Killed animals brutally.
I transformed into a goblin,
Feared to look at my shadow
Feared to face myself,
Always kept myself inside mask !

I’m a wretch humanity, they say.
Now I’m roaming hesitatingly
In quest of peace, in quest of Utopia !
People say me, ‘Mr Brutus !’

Sorrows and sufferings are now my parents,
Pains, lamenting and humiliations
Are my kiths and Kins,
Woe is my wife,
Myself is non-entity element !

I did not drench myself in moonlight
Did not look at the blue sky
Did not keep my environment clean and green.
Below the boughs of inferiority Complex tree,
I am now shedding ceaseless tear !

I’am a hatred and lost star
A falling comet that still shines
Trying to exist !

Creepy Girl

she is a blatant caricature in loud technicolor
her presence shouts sexual innuendo
alluring with dark undertones
her past shadows her every word
like clouds passing over a weak sun
she is the road untold but by the few hardiest of souls
her skin tangles his mind
as she watches him in the rearview
runs her hand through her hair repeatedly
he is mesmerized by moist lips parted
around phrases dark and foreboding
the cool calculation of her casual appearance
he is sleepwalking a dangerous dream
he is a dramatic parody in shades of pastel
a sorrowful tale told hesitatingly full of doubts and fears
full of the gentlest of loves
weak and stained he stands in the fell shadows
waiting for her rusty razor blade kisses
she has him
like clouds passing over a weak sun
and he loves her for it

My Name Is Simon

I come from Cyrene, my name is Simon ---
Minding my own buisness,
I was forced into labor ---
The soldiers ordered me to assist a condemned man ---
I argued, but the protest fell upon deaf ears ---
So I stated that I, an innocent man,
was being forced to do this deed ---
As I helped this beaten and bloody criminal,
He lost His balance and fell ---
They beat and spat upon Him,
until I cried out for them to stop ---
Finally we arrived at the top of
this lonely and barren hill ---
We dropped the cross upon the ground
and gasped from exhaustion ---
Before the roman soldiers could order me to leave ---
I locked eyes with this convicted man,
who I hesitatingly help ---
His gaze pierced my heart and soul,
which will remain with me forever ---
Walking away from Him, I could hear the
sound of the hammer striking the nails ---
Suddenly I realized this was an innocent Man of God ---
Then silently, within myself I thanked the Lord,
for blessing me with this Holy duty.

Pain

One leaf curled and hunched
hesitatingly crawls up the centre
of the sun lit country road.
The rest cling to the tarmac
watching.

I look at this world as it is
and see what could be
and once again utter
words uselessly.
conscience
....... driven
