Better to reach for something
and miss
than to hold back playing it safe
Destiny in the intention
and choice
hesitance falling from grace
Better to be adopted
by truth in flight
than the orphan of a lie
Where words and music marry as one
on the highest mountain
—you climb

Wings of freedom soar
above hesitance;
The wind pushes you
soft and sometimes hard;
Liberty will cost;
Having a choice
to fly or land
is lined in blood;
Rebels fight hard;
For our rights
resist and
continue;
No one
can stop
fire.

My lotus flower, adrift on the water bed,
Your petals top the pond,
Lilies, Irises, Hyacinths.
The sun reminisces,
And the moon grieves,
For in the dark of night,
It hides your leaves.
I weed your sodden garden,
Cattail, Waterthymes, Reeds.
My lotus you're safe,
I know your needs.
The scabs from the tear,
Haunts your fragile stem,
Faint, pink lines like those of your petals,
Shine like a gem.
My lotus I trace along those lines,
And your hesitance remains,
My lotus, I say,
"I know not the hurricane,
That caused your injury,
Nor the pain of how it felt,
But I know the misery,
And the doubt."
My lotus, I hold your leaves,
"Your weeds grow back,
But I will still stay,
Your stem dries,
And I will water you everyday,"
My lotus, I caress your greenery,
"Your flowers have bloomed,
In the harshest of weather,
But now you know sunlight,
And I'll make sure it's forever."

Some thoughts languish in the corridors of time,
hidden behind the shadows of hesitance,
unexpressed emotions trapped in cobwebs,
silent screams suppressed through fear,
words of love written through ink less pens,
tears covered in pretentious smiles,
how many such hearts become tombs to their desires..?
say it dear love , hold it no more,
your longing is no eternal sin,
do not stand alone and give secret looks,
your eyes betray the furnace deep within,
no amount of blinking will quell the truth,
say it before the season is past,
how many winters will you walk alone?
say it before this dreary night ends,
even if this was the last night you live…

To speak to a snake from beneath your sheets–
This hissing, slithering, serpentine gaze;
The cadence of patience, your eyes it meets,
And sings to the days long lost in that haze.
It stands in your fears, and brushes these walls–
The soft and the silent, your self it shapes;
In seconds of stupor it sighs to your calls,
Resistance to hesitance, those sacred shades.
A shrine to shelter these sordid scales, see–
See this sense, the snake and its sympathy.

Not lying outright
is far from the truth
Hesitance vacuous
barren of fruit
What never gets said
deceitfulness hides
Stalking and preying
while buried inside
The pulpit a soapbox
lectern a mask
Pontification
deceptions bombast
Wittingly fervent
the devil subverts
False implication
—the ultimate hurt

DESIRES
My dormant desire hidden inert indolent
wobbles, vacillates.
remaining repressed in rue.
not surpassing hesitance.
My drowsy desire tending to slip, sleep and sink
idly in abyss,
as being knocked and oppressed
not to overcome hindrance.
My dreamy desire floating flying flowing frolic,
rolling in rapture.
but not to reach fulfillment
suppressed by circumstances.
Yet all long life to drink dulcet desires
dreaming and dreaming
on endless continuation
till dream flashes in reality.

there was evidence
their presence and precedence
of our presidents
a coincidence
about all our Presidents
face has radiance
we had many hints
penitents as Presidents
said with hesitance

HESITANCE
sank in slant glance, as you looked back once, while walking leaving hesitance.

No island of escape
No heart that can't be found
The plague at last arrived
The ship is run aground
The wind has brought pollution
Pollution to the soul
The suffering and delusion
The spirit black as coal
Close your eyes, sweet child
Come listen to the sound
Of faith raining back
Faith raining back down
The fields are wet with deluge
The crops will not be there
A life of broken pilgrimage
Can never be repaired
While a lukewarm invitation
Has cast your soul in peril
In vulgar conversation,
We allowed our lips to settle
Close your eyes, sweet child
Come listen to the sound
Of faith raining back
Your faith raining back down
There is no Purgatory
And there is no in-between
Your hesitance and tarry
By God's eyes will be seen
So wander into morning
Your eyes still caked in sleep
The glory of awakening
Shall raise you among sheep
And close your eyes, dear child
Come listen to the sound
Of your faith raining back
Your faith raining back down

I have seen you here
I have felt you in
every inch of where
I have resisted,
tried to keep you clear
of my damage
my hesitance
my sheer lack of
everything I
know you need
(and I need)
but still you
whispered
your way
in

if i ease your pain
will you let your hair down
you underestimate due to your life being devoid of compliments
well let me be the first to kiss your beauty under the sun
let your go and please be shy and smile as i make love to your anecdotal hesitance
your bashful nipples harden as the gentle wind breathes the breath of God, beginning your healing
you cry chain reaction tears that restarts the heartbeat of my constipated rejuvenation
let me be the flowing waters that quench the very epicenter of your thirsty soul
let me thank you ever so kindly.....for easing my pain.....and helping me to gain

it feels safe
locked away

DAZZLING DAY
Day dawned on dainty dazzling sun rays.
Autumn sky presents torn cotton cloud
floating drifting in whimsical craze.
Me merrily, boredom not allowed.
Your sapphire eyes glisten and glaze.
Your divine elegance to astound.
On your cheek glow of bright Sun: I gaze.
Sprinkled beads of pearls as you laughed loud.
Few dewdrops shimmering on roses
Tiny blooms on grasses forming crowd.
Charisma of fair fairy: I praise.
Amazing ambient all around.
Shy yet dreamy eyes you are to raise.
Look straight without blink making me proud.
Reticence, hesitance, distance to chase.
Joy of a dazzling day knows no bound.

MY HOME
Obsessed on our sweet home, our heavenly haven,
where eternal peace prevailed, when you were with me.
You departed.
Might be some hesitance in your parting glance,
seeking syllable to voice something but left in silence.
Your unspoken words pricking my broken heart.
You departed leaving your ethereal smile,
still glowing in amorous flow in my soul.
You departed.
My home turned tomb.
Me to roam like mad nomad on journey of obscure future,
nurturing earnest yearnings for reunion.
Now waiting for marvel of your miraculous arrival
with glistening dew on a dazzling dawn like Goddess Aurora.
Welcome home!
For when I’m with you, I ‘m home.
