Heart once whole, brimming, and spotless.
Once whole and held with delicate hands.
Delicate hands slowly slipping away.
Not ready for the loss of this embrace.
Embrace ripped away too rapidly.
Sadness strikes faster than a viper.
Sucking all the life out of my soul.
Like a puppet on strings, lifeless.
Being dragged through the motions of life.
World now dull, colors no longer vibrant.
Food tastes of ash, eating only to survive.
Sleep, a reminder of abandonment.
That first heartbreak always catastrophic.
Heart enclosed, tears building walls thicker than before.
Slowly healing the shadows of the past.
Heart not quite the same, left weak and scattered.
Left different, pieces missing from heartbreak.
Heartbreak concealed by her masks.
Walls now built to keep out attachment.
barren landscape
fault lines of bone in soul
across the surface, scared
crumbling, quiet facades
moonquakes and heartbreaks
only echoes of you
in pools deep n serene
where earh n sky clash
I fall from the ether
in waves of moonlight
new
the silent seismic soul
rippling thoughts cascade, old
hollowed echoes of love
barren landscape
under a silver sky, high
tears flown
like lunar light
carved across
scarred surface of bone
shimmering in lost
cruel light shone.
tremors echoing
vast distances
one felt in the cold
silence of space
other in the messy
orbit of a late
garden of soul
gone to weed
measured in scale
too hard to breath
black rain of midnight
both leaving behind
fissures and fault lines
shifts in landscapes.
HEALING HEARTBREAKS
In my moments of sorrow, tears fell like snow
Gentle whispers of memories, I hold in my mind
My heart was once shattered, but it's now mending with time
Love remains, a flame that forever will shine.
I remember echoes of laughter, joyful and free
Moments we shared, wild and carefree
In dreams, I see your smiling face
A bittersweet reminder of a love so true and rare.
In silent moments, I hear your gentle voice
Guiding me forward, a heartfelt choice
To cherish the moments we shared with joy
And find solace in the love that's still me.
Time has passed, and I've grown anew
Learning to heal, to let go, to renew
The ache remains, but I've found peace
Knowing you're in heaven, where love resounds.
Rest On Mom.
That one cold night, when two hearts decided to bleed,
I was walking alone in the streets.
Felt you called my name, but when I turned to see your face,
it was the cold breeze echoing your warmth on my skin.
Like whispers in the wind, they softly speak
of cherished bonds and a journey unique.
Yet time marches on, relentless and cold,
while my heart remains trapped in stories untold.
How easy it was for you to shatter my soul.
From the fragments, I found the courage to be bold.
Each tear that falls, a silent refrain,
a testament to the ache, the endless pain.
But someday, perhaps in the distant dawn,
may this heart find solace and finally move on.
Seasonal heartbreaks
Rule my what-if’s
My senses sacked with a soothing solitude
A pain so intoxicating I fly high with gratitude
You will come around with a scarred arc
I will try everything to leave a blissful mark
I think my rage is enticing
It commands my being
Until I bury the thoughts I once feared
Soon in the era of enlightenment we would find the unfortunate
Begging to be heard amidst the lost fates
My mind radiates,
A thousand thoughts
Of yearning, of love,
And some uncalled.
My only thought,
Thou shall see yonder,
In an elysium
Or in an orb.
O proper stuff!
Rheumy thoughts of thou,
Shall live.
In odd-even,
On a reasonable shore.
-Prithvi Gulati
In the distance, time and space
I'll always see your loving face
With a big and caring smile
Even though its been a while
Since I held you really close
From a bad drug overdose
Finding you so limp and lifeless
I lost a friend that's rare and priceless
Never thinking I would see
My friend in so much misery
Forcing you to swallow pills
On the day your heart stood still
When the only one you loved
Was made an angel up above
Faking joy was not enough
You could not be strong and tough
Hiding these lies from your friends
You swallowed pills and put an end
To the pain, hurt and heartache
That made you melt down and break
Now your in heaven to see
The man you called your darling sweetie
Leaving me alone down here
My heart crying empty tears
I woke up and you were there
Every little hope was here
It was a while, someone had been nice
You said the words I wanted to hear
Be there when I felt so weird
Lonely could be saying goodbye.
I had my doubts, didn’t tell it loud
Told myself, try it out
Didn’t expect it to turn this way
And I was trying so hard
To be in love, but you got it all wrong.
And I was trying so hard
Not to get hurt, but here’s my sad song.
And I wish you didn’t pretend
This life was just fine by myself
Why knock my door, why mess me for more?
Don’t you know of those scars?
That are unhealed from the past?
And the horrors I been through?
So I crept in my shell
Till you came along
And asked me to peak out
And go through it again.
I had my doubts, didn’t tell it loud
Told myself, try it out
Didn’t expect it to turn this way
And I was trying so hard
To be in love, but you got it all wrong.
I was trying so hard
Not to get hurt, but here’s my sad song.
Heartbreaks, will they ever go away?Heartbreaks will they ever heal ? Well this one
doesn't look like it . I keep crying myself to sleep everynight wondering what happened
to us ? Wondering if you will ever return from this absence but I m starting to think
maybe you 're not coming back and it kills me inside . I tried contacting you and recieved
nothing in return no sign of you anywhere. wondering if you still exist my dear friend
Joanna Smith. If not this poem and the other one I just posted is for you . Just
remember you are a rose and a gem in disguise . If you are out there somewhere and
you hear my cry please try to realize only you and no one else could heal my broken
heart . so without further do while I m in tears I will think of you and the memories we
had together.since I m starting to think and believe that you totally forgot about my
existence.
Diamonds to fur coats, I gave you just about everything.
Flowers to love notes, I gave you that engagement ring!
But you took advantage of the kindness I so easily gave.
You've done your damage princess and now you think I'm your slave?
You're so very wrong, but I can't lie, I want to die listening to your admission.
I listen to your ugly song, and you're not my type of musician!
Attentiveness to affection there wasn't a thing I wouldn't share.
An emotional spiritual connection, I would follow you anywhere!
I treated you like a queen, and kneeled before your throne.
You had me addicted like nicotine, but you played me like a saxophone!
I was deceived, yet believed, you were once heaven-sent.
And the love you represent caused me too much torment!
Living in an emotional hell, under your spell, but you were so confident.
No more, I'm out that door, find a new instrument!
