Queen of Heartbreaks

Diamonds to fur coats, I gave you just about everything.
Flowers to love notes, I gave you that engagement ring!
But you took advantage of the kindness I so easily gave.
You've done your damage princess and now you think I'm your slave?
You're so very wrong, but I can't lie, I want to die listening to your admission.
I listen to your ugly song, and you're not my type of musician!
Attentiveness to affection there wasn't a thing I wouldn't share.
An emotional spiritual connection, I would follow you anywhere!
I treated you like a queen, and kneeled before your throne.
You had me addicted like nicotine, but you played me like a saxophone!
I was deceived, yet believed, you were once heaven-sent.
And the love you represent caused me too much torment!
Living in an emotional hell, under your spell, but you were so confident.
No more, I'm out that door, find a new instrument!

This is very impressive writing. You have described the wife from hell with amazing descriptiveness and rhyming.
