An Abecedarian

Audience is abuzz.
Boldly,
Conductor emerges – black tux.
Draw
Ethereal patterns with baton– marv.
Flutes, trumpets, cellos, drums dance for me, for you.
Gentle, light…
Heavy and dark…the music evolves
Into something more meaningful, deeper.
Joyous – a tranq
Killing, temporarily, stresses – they stop,
Lost to the rhythms and harmonies. And so
Melodies salve our inner woes – a balm, a boon.
Notes are born, they mix, they fade. And I’m
Overawed by power wielded. I am making a musical
Peregrination. My task –
Quixotic hajj –
Round go I,
Seeking solace in this temple of sound (sigh).
Tonic for soul grieving,
Unable from pain to calm itself –
Veritably impossible –
Without help from song and chord.
Xing over…with music,
Yes, I climb…
Zenith bound, toward nirvana.

Proud Shoes of Muslims

Proud shoes of Muslims from a hajj!
Their owners 'Alhaji' emerge!
Sandals which kissed Jerusalem:
A true Christian's, grandly solemn!

A devout man's made pilgrrimage
A boost gives his Holy image:
It's a picture hard to damage,
Even if he were a savage...

For the chance to access Heaven
One's pilgrimage up to seven.
Christians meet Pharisees' Leaven
And for themselves judge The Raven...

Still, the sad part of the Prized Badge:
Recipients' hearts vainly enlarge;
In their dreams "Please, one more prized badge",
One's rooms are tight, no longer large.

Sandals of pilgrims to Mecca
A passport-to-Heaven maker.
You've not seen Mecca- A faker:
In Islam Lowest price taker.

Indo Pak History

Pakistan was born on 14th of August based on communal grounds.
Many have this misconception that India was born on 15th August.
India was at least 2222 years old country.
We got independence on 15th August 1947.
The name itself was derived from the river Indus.
Muslims in India are the second majority after Hindus.
However,they enjoy minority rights.
India provided Hajj subsidy for almost 33 years.
The subsidy was stopped by the recommendation of a
Muslim Parliament member.
Cut to the chase I want a logical answer rather than some
standard False outdated answer by those sitting in Rawalpindi...

The Ingredients of Faith

To dwell in paradise
In company of the noble Prophet
Get these ingredients
And have a share in the everlasting merriments
Shaadah
It is to testify
That no other deity is worthy of worship but Allah
And that Muhammed is His messenger
Solah
It is to worship Allah 5 times a day
Yield to the call of Adhan
And Call on Him as much as you can.
Zakat
Give of what you have been given
For when you give
In return His blessings you shall receive.
Sawm
You are commanded to fast
In the beautiful month of Ramadan
Fast my brother, fast as much as you can.
Hajj
Seek the house of Allah
In the beautiful city of Makkah
Go on the journey, do the tawahf round the Kaabah

The End of Islam

Countdown siren. Islam is at stake.
Arabic Y2K, Countdown.
Islam in Jeaporday, I breath Hajj.
We are near the science incentive.
The smell of petrol, the beginning of empty goldmines.
Empty Oil Checkers on cars.
Islam in jeaporday.
Allah protect the saviours.
A sliding ice knife.
The tempo of Islam
The son of Islam in humankind.
We cannot breath the criticality
I cannot heathen the heresay.
Smell the petrol, I cannot walk in the Middle East.
I would rather Die
The End of Islam

Librium

Ex stalking is never good idea,
Resilient equilibrium.
Hang in Dahab, make Hajj to Medina
Instead of a course of Librium.

Hajj

Hajj is compulsory for the Muslims
Who are able to perform it
From every point of view

During Hajj the pilgrims
Wear a white piece of cloth
Which resembles the cloth
Of the Muslim’s corpse
To remind them
One day they will die and face God
It also reminds them
All are equal in the eyes of God
God will see only our works
And the prayers of others for us
On the Day of Judgment

The circling around the holy Kaba
Reminds us of the angels
Who circle around the throne of God

When we say, I am present O God
I am present and so on
God’s body looks at us and listens

When we perform Salat
During Hajj
God becomes more than happy
Because so many people together
Surrender to God at one point of time
In the most holy land of earth

When we run to and fro
On the Safa and Marowa hills
It reminds us of the sorrowful sight
Of mother Hazera
The wife of prophet Abraham

When we throw stones at Satan
It reminds us of the patience
And dependence on God
Of prophet Abraham
And prophet Ismile

At last when we reach
The holy field of Arafat
It reminds us of the joy
Of prophet Adam and Eve
When they fell down on earth
From paradise
And met each other
After a long long time
