Dirt - Y Poems Or Pray Dirty

We all have grovelled before men
No matter how proud, how often we won:
Few have not begged God for anything, ever!
I have grovelled & prayed dirty to EL ELYON: Most High
And humanity (we have a word here, UBUNTU) as I cried
When my foes found favor that Jesus 'promised' me

II
I ACCUSED GOD & JESUS IF UNFAITHFULNESS
almost retracting, repenting in minutes
But sure, I pray dirty sometimes
Even as I find a garden to dirty my hands
For becoming one with "dirt-y" Earth, changes dirt
And hurt THROUGH ANYTHING one is grateful for

III
Pray dirty dear Heart, if you have no help
Jesus runs the Universe, with Skin on
He got dirty on earth, too, never filthy
He can take abuse: crucifixion is no picnic
And is right on time, to the second, in rescuing me

Manipulation

Draw the curtains
Dim the light
Get settled down
For this long winter night
Almost dozing In my chair
A sleeping cat on my knee
Feeling warm and content
A pleasant place to be.
A fire in the grate
A red hot ember bed
Before which my lady sits
Toasting crusty bread

An old fashioned fork
Holds the speared slices down
Which the embers very quickly
Turn a shade of golden brown
A buttered toast and coffee supper
The toast spread with marmalade
One of those special snacks
Hot, tasty,simple, homemade.
The cat stretches and grumbles
As I reach for my treats
Not the sort of thing any
Self respecting cat eats.

With a disdainful air
She leaps to,the floor
Haughtily strides away
Knee not needed anymore
When I’ve grovelled sufficiently
I’ll in time be forgiven and then
I’m sure she’ll condescend
To occupy my knee again
Its a scene repeated nightly
And I’m getting used to that
It’s hell being appointed human
To the disdainful resident cat.

Fall

Smothered,
patience wanes her cure
morning bites
more than one can chew
and . . .
it's cursed, cast from demons
begging to get there first

blood drips down the back of the throat
in the stillness of the dawn

clenched teeth
awaiting
a perfect mood to be borne

dusted,
rouge makes way
to face the gruesome,
graved
grovelled within the growl

gulped, drenched
in pure goldlike moments,
stat
liquid caffeine
needled
hooked then veined

nothing ventured nothing gained

sown then spread,
an awakening of the dead
blind
ripped corners of the mind
aching and coming to head

why hell,
you forced me
to wish for dead

there's no time for love
when answers receive no call
fall, fall, fall
we all fail
then fall again

Seeking Peace In the Land of Furnace

Long I've grovelled
Plainly I've waited
To see the rising fire
and finally get lifted

Far from incandescent mind
Betrayed by sight
but in honoured scent
I felt the blazing horizon

Trekk i did to closer comforts
In seeking peace from rising red
To accept the calm in orange overtones
Finding purpose in the perceived chaos

What is it about a furnace
That welcomes dread?

The vivid of bright
that plays with the eyes
The punching scent that
comes with it's progress

Look intently as you breathe
And maybe you too can see
The peace of dancing colours
The exciting warm embrace
of uncertainty

There on the horizon
close to fear
Lies a dancing peace
The pieces of which
Engulf the senses

Look intently as you breathe
There on the horizon
Finding purpose in the chaos
Far from incandescent mind

Bugger

Last night my missus gave me oysters for my tea
I was really kind of hopeful for a night of tumble round whoopee
I showered and shaved, it helps to smell like a stud
But her half dozen oysters must have all of been duds.

Things were looking desperate so I engaged in some foreplay
Thats the thing that old men do when they want a roll in the hay
I grovelled and I pleaded, even whined like a dog
But for all of my best efforts all I got was a snog.

So should she ever come home, bearing that little wee blue pill
Don't think that I got lucky or had an evening of thrill.

Premium MemberTwo Wolves Played

Two wolves played together courting
gently the male licked and nuzzled
romped together enjoying

Now bonded they were so loving
for eternity they joined
two wolves played together courting

In great fun each other chasing
until they together swirled
romped together enjoying

Like all lovers closely bonding
unlike us they never battled
two wolves played together courting

They raise their cubs with good teaching
the cubs before them grovelled
romped together enjoying

Full cycle their lives swinging
yet still with each other dazzled
two wolves played together courting
romped together enjoying

What If?

If I shouted and hollered
If I begged and grovelled
would you falter in your steps,
would you halt and consider me ?

If I wrote you numerous love poems
laced with rhymes and sweet words
would you be swept away
would a night's dream be of you and me?

If I walked in the heart of danger
riding like a glorious knight
would your eyes adore me
would a wish for me cross your mind?

If I jumped from the heavens for you
and met my untimely demise
would a tear be found in your eye
would you grieve and refuse comfort?

Therefore if I loved you
with all that is me and in me
would feelings be evoked in you
would you love me too.

Discreet Desire

have slept blissfully with masters
endured mice of men
been protected in the inner sanctum
yet grovelled in poverty and pain
used my body to pull myself from its grip

seen many vices
secrets cleverly hidden
learned when to speak, holding opinions
silence can be indeed golden
as silver crosses sweaty palm

unmentioned blackmail, seen behind erotic eyes
have manipulated, masterfully
taken advantage of the attributes of beauty
secrets learned at mother's knee

I've been abused as a lady
worshipped as a whore
through it all, needy beggars
snickers behind my back
oh the women so gentile

see my smiling eyes
it's in my bed they do lie
outcast, yet bell of the ball
hushed need whispers my name
I move to its lure

my body a delicious shine
entombing the rich and noble
influencing kings
stature unknown, yet unlimited

I am courtesan, mistress, love,
substitute wife
I'm what you wish me to be
seductress of your mind
gripping desire, courtesan

Steadfast

Blue stone grovelled in mud,
wet viscid and and dirty mud,
no one knew where water poured in from,
nobody was there to stop it hence,
it had crushed the earth,
made it soft and humid,
it had drilled hole,
and widened it broad,
and now was eating sides,
loosening mud,
and making the muck,
this blue stone had loosened,
from the water attack,
and fell down,
with no jack,
from its earthly rack,
now water worked on mud,
and mud on stone,
god knows for many days, weeks and months,
the scene had remained the same,
a philosopher doing the round,
saw it every now and then,
and wondered when,
the stone will get bleached,
philosopher had to see his last,
and died his death,
the stone held the color fast.
