The days are getting cooler
as summer starts to fade
Classes are beginning
and Jack-O-Lanterns made
The Autumn winds are whistling
a most familiar tune
They say they’re mailing ballots out
and we will get them soon
They say Trump lost his luster
his grifts have all grown stale
Every venture in his life
has been an epic fail
And now we’re in a pickle
in a war with no end nigh
Led there by a loser
who knows not the what or why
But people are resisting
refusing to back down
Protesting in cities
and in every little town
Because November’s coming
and judgment, many say
the Grand Old Party’s reckoning
will be Election Day
You may think that I speak about robbers
who wear masks when they’re pulling a job
Or the one who’s in charge of the driving
or the loan sharks who work for the mob
But these criminals are a bit different
they have bastardized all of our laws
Given power by most of the voters
they’ve exposed our system’s great flaws
Some will argue that Trump is the problem
but Republicans hold all the cash
They’re betraying their oaths and democracy
throwing both of these jewels in the trash
As the GOP votes for its donors
and gets richer with trading of stocks
Undercover of legalese, lawyers twist laws
then strut through all the courts like game cocks
Now the People must rise and start fighting
for democracy stands on the edge
As they say, freedom doesn’t come easy or cheap
it is time to fulfill our Pledge
GOP REVOLT
GIVE UKRAINE A FUNDING JOLT
FROM TRUMP THEY DO BOLT
As the fires burn up our forests
and the deadly floods ravage our earth
All the traitors inside of the WH
give America new fascist birth
Our brothers and sisters patrol us
with the weapons of war that we made
As the songs they once sang about honor
about freedom and liberty, fade
They are building an army against us
search for people of color to blame
Armed with weapons of war in our cities
hidden faces are proof of their shame
As Republicans lie to the people
some reporters reply with a wink
And the viewers are all left to wonder
what was truth, what was lie, what to think
This is now a complete insurrection
being led by commander in chief
And the GOP Sedition Party
falls on all like a blanket of grief
We must all tow the line for our freedom
march together and then stand as one
It is now our time to be heroes
show the world how democracy’s won
Like a vampire wakes in the darkness
so awakens the old GOP
For they hunger to feed on the taxes
then like rodents, they scatter and flee
They ignore and avoid all their voters
who can never provide what they need
Like the donors who send them the dollars
satisfying their hunger and greed
So they slashed all the life-saving programs
like a horror show bloody with gore
And as long as the People pay taxes
their desire will always be more
A MAGA cap was among the selections
It brought back some dark recollections
Stormy Daniels cost DJT a few erections
~ Trump cost the GOP a few elections
Republican governors agree
Solving problems is not meant to be
Just take a peek
At Trump's technique:
And re-direct most maliciously
The USA will shoot for the moon
The 3-week tour will be over soon
The trip will appease
Kraft's search for cheap cheese
Which Trump declassified back in June
Trump ought to be tried for sedition
But who dares to sign a petition?
The GOP Vault
Claims Trump's not at fault
So forget all about contrition!
( Guess whom has the Vault combination?)
The GOP are at wit's end*
Trump's driving them around the bend
They don't have a choice
With only Trump's voice
Exhausting foul wind from which end?
*GOP presidential candidates are
now prohibited from debating as
only Trump's voice should be heard!
McConnell's a Kentucky fool
Who thinks Republicans should rule*
But everyone knows
Stupidity shows
Who flunked The Golden Rule in school
*Senate Minority Leader McConnell
agrees with Chinese President Xi Jinping
that government MUST be OF the PARTY
BY the PARTY and FOR the PARTY and
the only people who warrant concern are
those who fail to toe the Party line!
Down's Syndrome is such a big scare
Because it happens everywhere
So clinics should close
Since everyone knows
The greedy need more than their share*
*90% of the cases at one clinic are
attributed to Down's Syndrome but
the GOP won't fund research - nor
prevention - as all the GOP needs
is "approved" voters who vote
the party line
When an horse stepped into an hole
A cowboy was dumped on the dole
He sat in his saddle
Just rowing a paddle
Because work was never his goal
Whilst Donald Trump was eating his words
Mitch McConnell was training his nerds
To petition God
To give Trump the nod
To split Heaven and Earth into thirds
Donald Trump should be charged with treason
For plotting Trump-rule without reason
The GOP failed
And all should be jailed
Thank God for a Democrat season!*
* I am NOT a Democrat, but
the GOP should be dissolved after
clearly demonstrating it is only concerned
with wealth and power, and could care less
about Americans and the USA!
