Premium MemberThe Difference That God Makes

I rejoice for the day of my redemption
when God revealed His great salvation plan
revealing God's perfect love for His own
sent His son Jesus the Saviour Godman

God showed me He loves me as I am
he alone does the changes within
as His holy spirit moves a creation anew
bringing me everlasting joy to the brim

Not only joy but peace and real contentment
making me know God's presence so very real
this is completely brand new in my life
blows my mind when I consider His love deal

Even when the hard struggles come my way
I'm assured God is with me each and every day
for He gives me the grace to get me through
to stand firm and keep Satan's darts at bay

Now let's consider the price of it all
Jesus my Saviour died on Calvary's tree
shed His precious blood to pay for my sin
a truly wonderful Saviour surely we must agree!

(I have written this about what people may have missed about God and His grace through Jesus Christ. Why is it they don't believe and accept the good news? So this is why I think so many miss the greatest news ever told.)

Premium MemberBe Here Now

“Don’t ask how
Be here now”

~~~~~~~
Double entendres designed to cast a spell
Leave the fear-haunted audience spellbound
Hypnotic words that rings in hearts no bell
Garners huge following by sermons unsound
‘All is within’, the godman shrieks, ‘go in, go in’
Those who donate offered grace one on one
They believe he has magic to cleanse heart’s sin
Too late they realise, trauma bonding is no fun
The world is full of such fake gurus and healers
We’ve reached a stage when we now fear freedom
Time’s now to align with love by prayerful feelers
Merely ‘be here now’ won’t get us to God’s kingdom
Premium MemberPoetry - My Source of Inspiration
Poetry has been my Godsend
having a stammer all my days
it's been an outlet for inward thoughts
therapeutically bringing peace that stays
Having a pen in my right hand
brings real calmness deep within
for first 50 years never thought poetic
but since then words so very inspiring
Not a day ever goes past
when I don't read or write
I love Rossetti, Frost, and Dickinson
they so inspire me to the height
I especially love to write of my saviour
the GodMan Christ Jesus utterly divine
He is everything to my very soul
shows me His word to sit down and dine
Hoping to write poetically for a long time
to continue being inspired forever and a day
I thank God for this heart desire so fine
now words fail me what more can I say
(Just was thinking recently why do I like poetry? so here's the answer to that question.)
Milking Barn
"constructing
an area to convey
the thoughts of many
sight for those
who want a world to be impressed
by the landscape of doing
they shall come and see
the sights that will make them
stand in this place and humble themselves
to the worship of people
manifested by the godman
who constructed it!"
Premium MemberShe Died Peacefully
Hester P Goldman was a loving woman, a friendly, good-looking, happy to please-you-woman.
The kind of woman you would take on vacation, and let sit in the car.
Having grown up in a loving home, she could not understand why a child would run away from their home.
The kind of woman you would like to read a book to.
Could not visualize how world has changed. She had stayed inside for years, had groceries delivered.
The kind of woman you never saw garden.
Hester P. Godman did not watch the news as it terrified her She refused to look at a newspaper.
The kind of woman who could remain optimistic.
She died in her sleep yesterday, peacefully, happily, not knowing how crazy America is now.
Not caring.
Not one whit.
Believing Eisenhower was still president.
To Be God Is Not Easy
To Be God Is Not Easy
 Millions prayers,
 Millions wishes and
 Countless lives are
 Responsibilities of Mine.
       Justifying all these
       I have to reach
       No pretend, no busy
       To be God is not easy.
 Love, success, wealth
 All earthly things you need.
 But not a single including
 Godman want Me as need.
      When time to thumbs up
             all credits are yours,
      When time to thumbs down
      blames are Mine not yours.
 Both Arjun and Duryodhan
 for need came at my threshold,
 Can you believe, one of two
 had tried to chain Me to hold.
     Except all I have to
     bless without nod,
     So my dear, it is not
     easy  To   be   God.
Premium MemberChrist Came To Save Me
My thoughts turn at this time of year
to the incarnation of Christ's amazing birth
here is God displaying himself as a man
what a thought simply priceless worth
As I consider this great biblical truth
for my soul, the Godman came to deliver
all of my sins He would take on himself
His perfect sacrifice did what I could never
For 33 years later this Bethlehem babe
having grown up to be by God's will
a man destined to pay an awful price
for at Calvary's cross sinners came to kill
But this killing God had planned before time
it was God's purpose for sin to be put away
and only His son could achieve this feat
then man's sinfulness on the cross would stay
Then Jesus would leave the cross and the grave
showing resurrection power over death and decay
so back at His birth He had come to save
little old me turning my night into day
Premium MemberHeaven Appeared On Earth
There was a day so long ago
when a miracle happened down here
God appeared in the shape of man
it all looked indeed so very clear
This Godman was born like normal
having come from a dear woman's womb
this woman had no relations with a man
even though Joseph was her groom
A miracle indeed this had to be
what a moment this world was there
divinity had come to enter man's shell
with a message of hope and grace to share
This was the saviour of the world
who came to rescue man from sin
by giving himself by death on a cross
so man in believing could truly enter in
Heaven indeed appeared on earth
to reconcile man to find their Lord
what a picture of God's perfect love
giving man God's son in sweet accord
Entropy
A dignified statesman,
A deified ‘Godman,’
A glorified star (of films or sports)
All tumble—
After a Starr report
Or an HIV test
Or a dope test.
Or maybe a Watergate
Or a Coalgate.
Media reports or media hype?
Whistle blowers
On whistle blowers—ad infinitum.
God and my God are antithetical?
Is rape the norm—
Where Rama and Sita are worshipped?
Whatever your belief,
Call it Postmodern Era
Or Kali Yuga
Or what you will,
Will entropy be the norm?
Forbidding
Standing knee deep in water
invoking the sun god
going upward phenomenally.
I was learning to forget
the edicts of a fake lord.
Would not recognize-
the dirty tricks of a godman
in the garb of a hermaphrodite.
One day he was ...
One day he was not. The wild
czar was pounding his chest.
A snow-capped moon was-
going down unseen in the
blue lake of words. There
was three dimensional appearance
but no deliverance for
the poor speech in distress.
Premium MemberA Beautiful Saviour
There is a saviour called Jesus
who came to save us from sin
His character and demeanour shines
to all that wish to invite Him in
This Christ came into this world
displaying such a humility of heart
such gracious tones of holiness
showing what He will impart
Giving His own to be made anew
imparting on them His qualities sublime
this Godman so full of love
being one not bound by time
This saviour's person so unique
no other can we compare
to such a one as this Christ
shows such beauty so rare
We bow now before this Immanuel
whom we owe eternal praise
for He died that we will live
to follow Him for everlasting days
Premium MemberOh To See My Name Written In His Wounds
The son of God in human flesh
Jesus Christ incarnate was He
came here with one purpose in mind
to save mankind and set them free
This He accomplished on Calvary's tree
there Jesus the Godman was crucified
paying the price for our sins
taking our place for us He died
Ponder afresh at this unselfishness
the eternal God in mankind's place
shedding His blood in full atonement
displaying God's magnificent grace
Now look at His wounds
is your name written there?
has Jesus blood covered your sin?
by faith believing can you dare?
Oh to see my name written in His wounds
such an honour is given to those that believe
who can confess that they've been ransomed
from eternal death never again to grieve
AUTHOR NOTES: When listening to Stuart Townend's marvellous worship song 'The power of the cross', these thoughts came to me thinking on God's great love in giving His son for our sins.
Watch it on youtube if you wish.
Death of a Godman
I have agreed to cede
an unwritten moon
in a killing frenzy,
for a chequered spirituality.
Now visitation will start
ravishing the light at dawn.
The grievers will assemble
for a final scoop of dust.
Forgive my star,
for a failed touchdown.
A child stands before glitterati
born again to suffer the other sky.
Nothing comes out of nothing.
The circle was complete.
