Premium Member Discussing Autumn Faerie

autumn faerie swept by in her swishy peacock dress
her hair was a mess stated my mean cousin Bess
I know she was jealous of autumn faerie’s beauty though
Bess is not a nice person, her thoughts tend to go below.

autumn faerie looks lovely I said, goading my cousin a bit.
Bess looked ready to pound pavement, she can have quite a fit.
She looks ridiculous in those feathers, she said in a snotty way.
Bess forever and always has something mean and unlovely to say.

A Lousy Evening

With Adeyanju
I am a good Jew
Bleeding
From my ruptured view
Stainless bloody dew
Leading...
Its flow gushing clue
Behind old cum new
Reading...

Of thoughts in my mind
He knows of which kind
Loading...
What my chest box bind
My eyes lights both shined
Coding
Wandering look seems blind
If his eyes aligned
Goading

Yes, he did view right
What my eyes invite
Screaming
With joy yet polite
What a lousy night
Dreaming
Of what such delight
Would be like cum flight
Redeeming

Same nice rare moment
Without adjustment
Playing
Raw, cool, and ancient
Like in the convent
Swaying
The distant ailment
To cover when absent
Weighing

The missing trouble
Noisy class burble
Canes sought
To checkmate stable
Heavy parable
Fear fought
But this night's fable
For peace feast double
Past fraught

Lukewarm loudmouth listless ludicrous Leland Lee
Made a merry mockery goading murderous Melody
Nefarious needlessness if you ask the likes of me
Offensive objectifying ornery oddball oddity.
Parlaying pretty pukey habits during the grand Prix
Quarrels started up about it all over our family.

Premium Member PRAISE BE TO GOD FOR BEING OUR MASTER

October 11 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on Matthew 23-24

Key Verse – Matthew 23:10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.

PRAISE BE TO GOD FOR BEING OUR MASTER

Praise be to God for being our Master Who is always:
Great in His goodness
Gracious with His gentleness
Guarding along His governance
Generous by His grants and gifts
Gearing and goading upon His guidance

Matthew 24:4 Praise be to the Lord
for warning us not to be deceived as we:
Watch for His coming, waiting with cheerfulness
Work along His commands, wavering not by His charge
Want His worthy cleansing in walking toward His closeness
Win by His cross, warmly worshipping midst His communion
Wake up at His wondrous call, welcoming willingly His compassion

Matthew 24:42 Praise be to the Saviour
For exhorting us to be watchful and:
Diligent by His demanding deeds
Devoted to His designed destination
Determined through His distinguished dealings
Decisive toward His distinct direction along His driving
Dependent to His divine demonstration and defending dominion. Amen!

Premium Member Magical Mystique of the Moon

ah the magical mystique of the moon
celebrated in folklore and mythology
goading howling women
who can frighten werewolves

the waxing moon
associated with reproductive cycles
of women, marine animals and wild life
ensuring we are more loving

the waning moon
connecting the celestial with deeply sacred rhythms
affecting our moods, toying with our ups and downs
shaking up people who are bi-polar

the full moon
she has amassed a reputation
birth rates rising, increased crime and hospital visits
she winks at us, loving her power

the moon is ever changing
cyclical like every form of life
revolving over and over
refreshing and replenishing us at her whim.

Premium Member the horse is dead dismount

my husband and I used to argue
weeks after a verbal agreement should have been over
we were silly about it
heckling and harassing each other
over things that do not matter
ridiculously egging and goading

my husband told me a story about a soldier
the soldier kept beating his horse after it had died
his commanding officer said “the horse is dead, dismount”.

now when the argument reaches a silly stage
one of us yells “the horse is dead, dismount”
this has worked to end our idiocy for the last fifty years.

Torn Stocking Tango

They struggle with a violent grace,
the bawdy cries of a bandoneon,
the open gash of her torn stocking.

They both understand
that naked desires come last,
first there is this ceremony,
the ritual goading
white flesh and dark shadows
must be rubbed
with an urgent blood.

This bar is a plaza de toros,
a place for the lace mantilla
to be torn away,
a dance floor for broken nightingales.

They are cheap wine,
but they know how to pour,
crushed and tied as they are
to the pressing moment.

The gap in her stocking
seems to reflect their deeper wounds,
holes where hope died,
and nothing they seek now,
can ever fill them.

Premium Member PRAISE BE TO GOD WHO HEARKENS TO OUR PRAYER VOICE

February 20 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on Numbers 21-22

Key Verse– Numbers 21:3 And the LORD hearkened to the voice of Israel, and delivered up the Canaanites; and they utterly destroyed them and their cities: and he called the name of the place Hormah.

PRAISE BE TO GOD WHO HEARKENS TO OUR PRAYER VOICE

Praise be to God for hearkening to our prayer voice:
Delivering us mightily
Dealing with us mercifully
Defending us majestically
Driving us meaningfully
Directing us manageably

Numbers 21:34 Praise be to the Lord for delivering us by His:
Guarding hands toward triumphant servanthood
Guiding holiness of true sanctification
Girding hope along tenacious standards
Goading help with trustworthy strength
Gripping hoisting up against terrible selfishness

Numbers 22:38 Praise be to the Saviour Who puts
in our mouth what we must speak about, which is His:
Word upon prevailing truth
Ways midst powerful teaching
Will along profitable testimony
Work of perfect task
Worth so peaceful against trials. Amen.

Snapdragon Dance

Papery feathers strain to take wing.
Frills ruffle, mythic masks gnash at the air
beautifully belligerent.

Plucked, they dally daily
between the surfaces of legend,
and the finery of a silk-stockinged
sentience.

Diaphanous stems are necks-laced
below an open-mouth in full quaff
pastel beaks
revealing a mute floral clamor.

Flame refined dragon-hearted blooms
they consume the oxygen of our
domestic awe. Pepper us with a
salty serpent presence.

Lightweight and splashily bearded
we see them gambol
on the tippy-toe of a metaphor.

When within a circle of sunlight
we place them,
they may fire-dance
with a scolding snippiness
goading all and sundry
with a dragons gimlet gaze.

Torn Stocking Tango

They struggle with a violent grace,
the bawdy cries of a bandoneon,
the open gash of her torn stocking.

They both understand

to be torn away,
a dance floor for broken nightingales

They are cheap wine
but they know how to pour,
crushed and tied as they are
to the pressing moment.

The gap in her stocking
is not large
but its wound is deep,
and sadly nothing,
nothing they have to offer
can ever fill it.

-treasure Tosser-

This morn' I watched a coin be tossed into the sea,

Glittering and goading of all things merry!

It sang the sweetest song in the moments as it glinted and flew,

It made me smile awhile in soft sincere reminder of you.

Then it sank in somber waning song to the bottom of the ocean floor,

I can't help but wish I'd heard a heartful or a hundred more.

And so I wept a good sum once again today,

Over the coin that fell into the bay!

Some Sounds Remind Of

clatter-claws scratching drum skins.
Pigeons are the worst. Rose bushes sit quietly all summer
then only after they have lost their heads
do they squeak and squawk all night.
Dry joints crunch down - listening synovial cartilages
stick shift and slip out of gear.
There is the slap-smacking juggle of junk mail
as it flaps its paper wings and falls.
Some sounds remind of…
Dead-spaces clambering up a back wall,
chicken bones rattling on a tin roof,
or deranged harpsichords
goading the moon to shake its yellow faced tambourine.
Some sounds are knuckles cracking under cliffs of silence.
Sleep prods woke ribs till the breaking dawn.
