If roses were a book
Would they still be read
And if violets are blue
Does that mean they're in depression
sadden and blue
I have no answers
for I'm not in a dictionary or
An encyclopedia nor computer with gigabytes
All the rainbows every colors
All the antidepressants doesn't bring me joy
Because all in all is Elohim God
Creator of it all for now I feel better
No longer am I in a crisis dilemma

Hunchbacked in a room, typing electric spells of doom,
breathing out fire, an alchemy of pain, suffering and desire.
Filtered beauty but oh, beneath, lies green skin and poisonous teeth,
with claws replaced by keyboard, where online posts replicate sword.
Eyes glassy, red with ire and fatigue; hate is sport, pole position in the league:
a troll swallowing prey in gigabytes whole; their innocence lost, our youth stole.

Governed by technological greatness
Gearing with gigabytes catering to all generations
Groomed am I, 5G, to handle gargantuan task globally…
Girded for high-speed connectivity yon information gathering
Granting mankind growth and progress midst mobile ecosystem-glow.
Grateful to God* for grace that advances giftedness, functionally grand
Guided with genuine responsibility and accountability-goodness
Gladly, greeting guys and gals along facts, realistically grasped
Gripped am I with gallant “Fourth Industrial Revolution” goal
Guarded around golden rule, sans greediness’ glitches.
*1Peter 5:10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

Imagine if I possessed stunning good looks
Along with an adorable personality
I'd have to beat the ladies off with a stick
Sure love it if this was reality
Hollywood would continually be bugging me
To make millions from my glorious kisser
Certainly be renowned the whole world over
But dear Cathie, I'd surely miss her
I'd send for her as soon as I bought a mansion
Overlooking the beautiful sea
Would say farewell to my bevy of beauties
So honoured to have had a piece of me
This cyber world allows for such musing
I could actually be of the opposite sex
Now I've really got you wondering haven't I
So you never know what to expect
I confess have had ten tears experience
With a brain the size of a basketball
Eat gigabytes of data, morning, noon and night
And spit out gobs of wisdom to all
Imagine if I possessed stunning good looks
Dream on you old geezer, dream on
A major overhaul would certainly be necessary
And I don't think you've got that long

Confused by DVD interactivity,
Lost in soulless Internet chat-rooms,
Spied on by precision satellites,
Tracked down by mobile phone texters,
Hit by multi-media bombardment,
Tied up with twisted video tape,
Engulfed by ephemeral nothingness,
Brain awash with binary,
Consumed by CD ROM gigabytes.
Call me stuck in the past,
Say I’m not cool, but cold,
Because my ideal is a good book ...
To have and to hold.

Artificial intelligence churns out gigabytes
As algorithms set the rules
Sifting the wrongs from rights
With all its CPU tools
Machines learning at the speed of light
Spitting out bits in flight
Speeding past us in no time
Turning the tables at the drop of a dime
The electrons have been set loose
With ones and zeros as their base
It's too late to stop them now
As they swiftly move in cyber space

My mind is a plain white cloth
On which the memory needle often pricks
Sharp, bright, retentive and so forth
Occasionally it will also plays tricks
With its unlimited gigabytes
It can store a lifetime highlights
When it sees my unhappy signs
It'll stitch very gloomy designs
If I am in a very happy mood
It'll reminisce over unhealthy food
The problem with my memory needle
Is that, it has no boundaries.
It will prick me uninvited
Even when I am ill or tired
It's like the deep blue ocean
Very unpredictable; waiting for action
Pricks can be painful or blissful
Can even be hateful and shameful
But I like my fabric to be
As plain and clean as it can be
So I try very hard to train my mind
To ignore the needle, and be kind
As long as I don't get carried away
My memory needle cannot spoil my day

The little mouse is scrolling
as the ocean waves are rolling
and they beckon me to come down to the sea
The screen before me glowing
while outside the flowers growing
have a fragrance that is calling out to me
The keyboard keeps me busy
at the same time I am dizzy
yet the birdsongs out my window sound so sweet
While the gigabytes are loading
my poor eyeballs are exploding
and the circulation doesn’t reach my feet
One last video, I say
then another makes its way
interrupting my intentions to go out
One more minute, then I’ll quit
one more hour, here I sit
I’ve forgotten just what life is all about
There is work and there is play
but somewhere along the way
all my play times are so few and far between
Push a button, L O L
while my spirit goes to hell
as I live my cyber life upon a screen

Made quite an impression, it seems
On the chair, I've been glued to so long
The indentation is an exact replica
Of my rear, hmmm, sounds like a song
Me bum and me chair are going steady
Only leave when I have to go poop
Methinks maybe atrophy is setting in
So I think I'll shoot some hoops
It's surely a result of this computer age
Our bodies will soon have no use
Our heads will be the size of basketballs
But our bodies will be an excuse
Excuse to hold up our 100-pound heads
With its gigabytes of storage space
We'll actually need some kind of device
Or we'll continue to fall on our face
Made quite an impression, it surely seems
On the chair, I've been glued to so long
Thinks I'll go for a ride in my old jalopy
An old Dodge I bought for a song

We etch out words in cyber space
Which travel at the speed of light
The thoughts we leave within this place
Will journey through distant gigabytes
And in some dusty village far
Where cyberspace sparks desire
Our words like twinkling distant stars
Will be able to inspire
So leave your words and let them shine
As it travels this digital universe
And soon their gleam will be defined
As inspiration they disperse

One gram, yes one gram, that’s all it took,
The mass of a one dollar bill.
It’s enough to make you healthy, too,
When you swallow a little green pill.
One gram, just a small little mass,
Less than a paper clip.
It’s one third that of a coin,
Or a hundred dollar black poker chip.
One gram can also hold so much,
A hundred gigabytes in a USB port.
And it’s the weight of a small metal nib,
Used in a human rights court.
One gram, yes one gram, that’s all it took
When dropped on a Japanese hill.
One gram of plutonium for a hundred thousand lives,
To murder, to slaughter, to kill.

New technology
Gigahertz and gigabytes
In every pocket
Safety or madness
Design for kids in four years
Undermine childhood

Spent some time learning solely out of spite
Trying to prove my brain had unlimited gigabytes
Looking for any chance to sling a slight
Anxiety ridden, deep down filled with fright
Angst's a funny thing when you can't see it's site
Probably cause my father thought I was just alright
"Sensitive", and that's me being polite
Incite, took me sometime to grasp that insight
Hindsight, I'm happy for the plight
It helped me see the light
There's a garden beyond wrong & right
I'll meet you there, this is a formal invite
I've always thought childhood is unfair
Taught so much before I could really think
Woke up scared if I forgot my prayers
This is the blood of Christ, take a drink
Think ill parent more like Laissez-faire
Teach them how to think, not what to think

New clothes new habits
That leaves the receptacle no deficits
And they gone to school with guts
Ask them megabytes, gigabytes
Why drain sooner until the last mourner
Find them in junctions, saloons in any corner
New clothes new habits
Kind of magnetism visits
Downstairs as with the parachute
Have you anyone who would to persecute
Gone to school with guts to grasp, seize and hold
Why gentlemen will plead their hand for household
New clothes new habits
Why drain sooner until the last mourner
