Premium MemberDays Glorious Beginning

with reverence the willow tree bowed to today’s sun goddess
the sun was brighter and lighter than ever before
nature's golden wheat field was surprised, this was a new twist.
the tree had never genuflected before this morn.

the pink sky reflected herself nicely in the dried creek bed.
giving him a bit of hope for a kind of revival or rejuvenation.
this is a glorious beginning a frog told his wife.
beginning of what? the beginning of the rest of our lives.

Premium MemberA Case of Possession Or Not

She was possessed or so they imagined what else could it be
only two years old and already she could speak fluent Spanish
though she never heard the language in the household before;
She cried for her mother and when her mother arrived she said
" mommy what is your name " and then the lights in the room
shut down by themselves...
Then came the night when the window frosted in her bedroom
though it was summer and the temperatures were way above
the window frosted with ice and the roomed chilled to below Zero;
When the Priest attempted an exorcism prayer and genuflected,
she gave out a guttural laugh and yelled, " Padre Arrependito "
repent Father, repent, he ran out of the house like a bat out of hell....

Giving Godly Grace

Gifted with the knowledge of Your love and grace
I am assured that Your promises will take place
Venerated and respected is Your holy name
Immeasurable, the times You have forgiven me
Never recalling my human imperfection of sin
Gracious with clemency as I earnestly atone

Grant me the privilege, dear God, to serve You
Only through Your grace will I be redeemed
Devout to Your glory, I pray on genuflected knees
Light my footsteps along the righteous path
Yoke me with desire to spread Your Word, please

Gracious Father, fill me with Your Holy Spirit
Read my heart and measure my true worth
Accept my gratitude for Your myriad of blessings
Countless are they in the revelation of Your love
Endless is Your reign, Creator of Heaven and Earth

Lasciviousness

Serenity enters upon her hem
Toting attentions like needful puppies
Eager to submit every breath
Ponce' bathes in her fountain
Halcyon depths purifying his soul

Isolated pristine - Qing porcelain
Simmering sensuality produces
Admired luster of a Kashmir sapphire

Genuflected I yearn to become
Obsequious of all necessities and
Desires of her bestowed repertoire
Delving into her aura coaxing
Effervescent essence pour over mine
Songstress serenade inner de Bergerac
Siren silently saturate mine self

Scrape With Death

Scrape With Death

Was an artist who always liked to escape,
Until with death he did have quite a scrape;
And as directed,
Never genuflected;
Ended up dying due to being out of shape.

Mother- Ian Munywe

MOTHER - IAN MUNYWE
A queen upon my vision,
held in the highest regard.
A mentor with a big heart,
Keen always to help out.
taught me right from wrong,
moulded us to her best.
Benedictions I voice,
pleading with none other than God.
Intense trotting hardly ever sauntering,
Acute hassle and acute struggle.
Determination her definition,
pious her description.
Too tolerant too supportive,
frankly and candidly concerned.
A priceless prize she deserves,
solely a divine grant.
A share of my years,
I definitely would not mind sharing.
With her,
just to watch her age gracefully.
On a genuflected knees,
Her happiness my only plea.
One to adore me,
Unconditionally.
Even in a camphor casket,
still precious even as a broken egg in a basket.
Ever concerned,
never unnerved.
One I solemnly swear to die for,
mother remains her venerated title.

My Panageric

If my phone can reach your throne,
It is my heart who sent him.
He( my heart )is playing strings and singing soulful songs
If you can hear the words, my tongue had genuflected before you.

By a unanimous decision of my entire being,
The lord is mighty
When he breathes, mansions of burdens collapse.
When he sighs, waves of captivities lay humbly at the shore.
When he lifts his hand, dunes and mountains of oppression lapse.
His words are thunderstorms that rumble and make the lion forget to roar

The lord owns wisdom.
Philosophers can't fathom his presence,
Thus some say he's absent.
Wisdom thinks about his excellence
Researchers have given up on methodologies earmarked to trace his thoughts.

The Lord is wonderful.
He never made mention of operation tools during creation.
Yet on the first man he performed an operation.
An operation which brought forth his rib (Eve)
Oh! His deeds had even brought my hand to a stand still.

Be Good Or Be Good At It

Say good morning to the cold bathroom floor-
mouthwash tastes like a reused mojito
vomit erupting from a molten core-
in the sink, fermented blood starts to show
from sacrament taken on Thursday night,
my last supper. Judas, feel what I feel-
whiskey nailed to a cross, my final fight.
No more beer or tonics will make me kneel
genuflected for a porcelain god-
today I will rise steady on two feet,
not carried by a bouncer as he plods
to a dented cab in a smoky side street
My dear friend, you dined silent at my side,
But under your thorns I cannot hide

St Pius the Tenth

I genuflected,
Is that even the
Proper tense?

I've wondered.

And the Math Man,
clipboard and all
Smashed his
Brains in,
with his cat
and Bicycle.

And closed now,
Is that institution
Where I learned
Only text book
rhetoric and
Public exposure
of my Genitals.

Finally Found!

LOST IN A WORLD OF DARKNESS,
WITH NOBODY TO TRUST;
A WORLD FULL OF CONFUSION,
AND ALSO SINFUL LUST.
WITH MANY PATHS TO CHOOSE FROM,
AND ONE FOR ME TO FIND:
A PATH THAT LEADS TO RIGHTEOUSNESS,
AND LEAVE THE VICE BEHIND.
LOST IN A WORLD OF DARKNESS,
FROM THE PATH I WALKED ALONG,
I WAS LED INTO CORRUPTION,
FOR THE PATH I CHOSE WAS WRONG.
INSIDE-OUT, THE PAIN WAS DEADLY;
SCARRED UNTIL I COULD BEAR NO MORE,
SO I DECIDED TO SURRENDER,
AND A TEAR FELL TO THE FLOOR.
I SLOWLY BOWED MY HEAD,
GENUFLECTED; MY KNEE LOWERED TO THE GROUND:
AS I RAISED MY EYES TOWARDS HEAVEN,
I PRAISED THE ALMIGHTY...THAT I WAS FINALLY FOUND.

Natures Pace

And golden ears of corn stretched to listen, to the suns
warming ray of words, as stems swayed and rattled. In
the next field yellow Sunflowers genuflected, lifted
their heads to their heavenly maker, turning not to lose
his eye. And the sun beat of an egg blue sky, a blanket
of life for all to nestle. Only song rained, spilling from
the throats of lofty Skylarks sharing their delight on this
miracle of days. Hawthorne, Bramble and Blackberry
wrestled creating a thorn haven for Blackbird and Thrush
as they cared for the young ever gaping mouths. Bumble
bees and Hover flies darted flower heads, intoxicated on
the abundance of rich pollen, the flower kissed and life is
granted. The fruits ripen, Field mice nibble the sweet corn's
tender pods, and the Buzzard glides softly with searching
eye. This day takes place with no rush or haste, no agenda
to adhere to, just to amble at natures pace. And on I walk
forever lost.
