explosion damp and muffled
march of the pebbles

If your'e going to preach it brother.? Hit-em with the Gospel
For its like no other; Spell' Speak of mercy..And the flames of hell' and ring out the message like a ten ton bell.' Tell the truth
'The world is round' like Isaiah shouted.' He really went to
Town.' Also the village for that to matters.' No doubt giving
The matrons a feast of natters.' Yes tell of the King! With a
Sceptre of iron.' Ruler of Nations the one so much better,' by
Leaps and leauges.' Yet a donkey His steed! the pharisees bane.' He allowed them to keep their greeds.' Yes preach of
Life and tbe riches of God.' To all those destined to go under
The sod.' Some clerics may repent.?To turn away? from the
Gasp-ell of death they gasp out today.' Nothing is new as
Solomon put.' Just whitewashed tombs on top thats it.' The
Bones of this matter.' Wont be raised at all.' Who have gasp-ed
Out the message of slavery and thrall.' Its hotter than this
Poem.'The place they must go.' If you don't want to join them 'just let Jesus know.'

Caught between Life and death
With roaring and panic
Looking for hands but none
With glowing eyes.
Heavy breathe and gasp
But none to show
Dive right to left
Waiting for the Joy that ceasen't
All eyes curious and expectant.
All legs stiffed to the ground
Like a statue or maniquine.
All faces furious but anxious
All waiting for the arrival of the eternal Joy
There the Joy is,slow and relaxed
Though uncomfortable
In pain and agony she laments
What have I done ?
Adam and Eve, you're evil !
The man standing,
willing to help, afraid of danger and complications.
Why must I suffer ?
Baby pls come, find your way here.
There the Joy is.
Lying still.

When battling
time
the moment
retreats
Oxygen
fades
with light
dimming fast
Wishes
vacant
breath
dark and shallow
Words
once
treasured
— adrift and begone

October, you are the final burst of life,
before winter’s sad and lonely gloom,
paints the trees and meadows white,
and locks us inside its frozen tomb…

GASP OF AIR
Death claims all the Victory
In this life given to me.
It owns the very parts of Me
Which mingled with One’s chemistry
To build a brand new entity,
Just to have him ripped from me.
Who was the enemy?
My own womb, specifically
Betrayed us all, ejecting
This tiny piece of Humanity.
Scrap to you? Not to me.
I still ache longingly
To nurse and cradle this piece to me.
Twenty years and constant suffering,
More Death than Life, if you ask me,
Since my three children’s lives
Were deemed by Someone “Not to Be,”
And Mother never made of me.
What rules for such a Tragedy?
No One knew, apparently.
All Baby Bumps avoided me,
As if my “inability To carry”
An unspeakable disease,
Passed contagiously.
Alone, I bear their Memories;
Always My Responsibility.
Now I’ve become too fatigued
To honor them effectively;
They only Live in Memory.
I’m not too proud to beg your sympathy.
I’ll even make this plea upon my knees:
Would you be willing,
Momentarily,
To hold MY children in YOUR hearts
So I can breathe?

My energy I conserve,
Not for the guests seats
I have yet to reserve
Nor for their paid meat
I should carefully preserve…
Squarely for the nice treat
My boys deserve.
Their negligence I’ve grasped
And at it gasped
And hands of shock clasped!
Now, my voice to be a rasp
And my sting that of a wasp:
Welts to on skin break out,
Pain-enduring lips pout;
In drug stores no liniment
For their energy-backed punishment.

When comes the death of death’s last gasp
this momentary timeless lapse
between each breath, inhale, exhale
death’s agony, succeed or fail,
will linger on the scythes honed tip
slip slowly through Death’s claw-like grip
knowing that within its grasp
comes the death of death’s last gasp.

dawn with bright red hues
A long way above the snow
Spread from sea to sky
In my mind, will not have a cold
Yet, pollen is now free to hold
When flowers beguile you
might sneeze four times in row
In spring, hoped I wasn't foaled
walking around the yard, I heard nature's grace, the tulips were sprouting.

Now there's no more climate change,
All atmosphere beyond our range,
Chopped down last tree on Earth,
Turned to paper, for what it's worth,
They wrote, "Save the Trees",
Gasping for air so miserably,
That was that, you see,
True tale of our last tree!

No matter how fast I run, or how high I climb,
It always escapes me, that being called “Time”
It is a cunning sparrow, taunting with each rasp
But with each step nearer, flies out of my grasp
Fleeing from my hands, away from my clutch
Just millimeters away but not enough to touch
Running up a steep mountain, I lunge to clasp
But stepping closer to the edge, I let out a gasp
Richly hued feathers painted black and blue,
Each trapping my limbs, my feet stuck like glue
Plant-like appendages wrapping around like vines,
Securing me in place to watch the minute hand’s line
Each tick, each beat, each shake of its slender tail,
Speeds up my heart rate and the pace at which I inhale
Staying in the same place, I beg and plead for more
More of that being which continues to soar and ignore
To this day the sparrow continues to hide and mock,
To glide around others and let out a triumphant squawk
For no one can stop time, whether I am young or old
Only during my final breaths, the sparrow I can hold

I paused, the moonlight to inhale
As I put my steep climb on hold
Thick grape vines held tight in my grasp.
On I climbed to clutch a buttress
My breath reduced unto a gasp.
On I clambered higher to clasp
The dark hued castle tower cap
I donned my rig to glide away
And soar over broad moonlit vale.

MASKED
How dare you demand I wear
a mask. My civil rights are all I ask.
Force me to do so and I’ll sue.
What else is a citizen to do?
Soon she coughs and sneezes –
Droplets float, on gentle breezes. She infects young
and old, thinks it’s just a heavy cold. Hospitals
treat victims by the score, while Covid-19 hunts
for more. Patients gasp for breath, another dies
Nurses shiver at their cries. Don’t succumb to whims
and fancies. Wear a mask and help your chances.
