Death's Last Gasp

When comes the death of death’s last gasp this momentary timeless lapse between each breath, inhale, exhale death’s agony, succeed or fail, will linger on the scythes honed tip slip slowly through Death’s claw-like grip knowing that within its grasp comes the death of death’s last gasp. This was so entertaining, your end rhymes succinct and perfectly executed. For example "death’s agony, succeed or fail, will linger on the scythes honed tip slip slowly through Death’s claw-like grip"

After the last gasp, we enter a state when we feel satiated with everything .... a state of pure bliss ! On reading the poem one experiences the agony of going through the last moments !Powerful depiction, John !

You're gonna think I'm kidding and/or crazy, but here's an antidote for those agonizing last gasps of death -- 'belly-breathing.' If you do it, you know what I mean. If not, check it out. ~ At least 1/2 serious 3/4 of the time
