Will You Marry Me

I love you
and I thought
you and I should be together

as one
as husband and wife

I love you
and I thought we
could start oar's
together

will you honor me
with marriage

will you say yes
and marry me
will you marry me

here I'm down
on my knee
it's like the eye's of the world
are all on me
I know that
you and I can be
happy if you marry me
if you marry me
cause I love you

He Is of Spirit

I cannot breathe, I only sit and sing,
Singing and sitting have become such a bore,
They only leave your behind sore,
Oddly, if left alone for so long,
Longings are only for kisses and song,
A gentleman who passes along is a great gift for the heart and soul,
For he offers me kisses and sweet melody,
His melodies are so illusive,
So faint, they make me faint,
He creates music without instrument,
For he himself is an instrument,
The sound of his kisses echo deep inside my ear,
And endlessly into my spirit, melt like incense,
I do not know this feeling, but I know he and I are in a marriage of spirits,
We are me, we are him.

I Dont Care What You Do

I don't care what you do
You hurt me once you can't hurt
Me no more. I loved you more
than
Then any one could dream. You
I thought was the marriage
vowel that I would speak on our
weded
Day when our lives will forever
change. Here I am waiting with
faithful breath arms open.
Using my heart as your honor
bage
I don't care about you, I'be
growny
And you will forever be you.
I am no longer fighten of this
women inside of me, because
I was unprepared, I've grown up
to be great at judging a man like
you.
I am through. Look can't you see
her. Here I stand the women I
am.
stronger, wise, beautiful to smart
for you.

No Sex On Dates I Will Wait-

She says she doesn’t Doesn’t believe it Love is impossible Everyman she’s dated All minds were deflated All they want to do is bump and grind You can read between the lines You really know what I mean Sexual gratifications Never a vacation All they want to do is bump and grind You know what I mean She is more than just a object a sex toy She’s somebodies sister, daughter So in remission She awaits marriage Maybe one man will have the courage To do his husbandly duties on the honeymoon Cause nobody’s gitin any sugar in their Kool-Aid tonight Well praise God (Go sit on some ice boy and take a cold shower) 3/20/22 Written words by James Edward Lee Sr. 2022©

Marriage

Marriage
is being stuck in the elevator with that hot flirty associate
Clive Christian lux on him invigorating your senses
inviting muscles clearly designed on the twill tight shirt
his butt narrating all there is to know bout "his good loving."
he is the 'baller and the club manager'
and everything about him screams come get me baby
and everything in you screams "All ready for you papi!"
BUT
Finding the strength and courage to suppress all that want
closing eyes and recalling that ugly fight with your spouse this morning
and knowing too well you would rather go home to him/her even though you might not be getting none tonight.

Marriage is knowing the betray, the guilt, and the self-disgust that comes after the deed on temptation is not worth it!

Gladly Coming home to you baby after five!!!

Long Term Questionable Marriage

NO WEDDING BAND, OR RINGS
THEY BOTH ARE NOT WEARING
WHAT HAPPENED?
A LONG-TERM MARRIAGE AFTER DECADES OF YEARS
JUST IN A RELATIONSHIP
NO GENUINE VACATIONS
NO WALK IN THE PARKS
A LONG TERM MARRIAGE
WASTED IN THE DARK?

SOME GREAT DAYS IN THE PAST
AS EARLIER IN THE DAYS
SOME BAD DAYS OVERWEIGHED THE GOOD
A MIXTURE OF EMOTIONS
CARRIED ON BY FEELINGS
IS IT JUST A MARRIAGE EXISTING?
OR, NOT REALLY LIVING?

PEACE, LOVE, JOY
PRAYERS FOR THE TWO
FINDING LOVE AGAIN
IS THE MARRIAGE ENDED?

HURT AND PAINS
CALLING OUT OF NAMES
GRIEF AND UNFORGIVENESS
FOR THE ONE
IS IT TIME TO MOVE ON?

BOTH HAS LEFT
IN AN UNKNOWN WAY
A RING REPLACED
A DIAMOND IS GIVEN
NOW ONE IS REALLY LIVING.

LIFE GOES ON
NO TIME TO WASTE
YEARS PASSING BY
NEVER TOO LATE
HAPPINESS, JOY, PEACE WITHIN
A SMILE WORTH-WHILE
AMEND.

Hopeless Marriage- Unrequited Love

As I roamed into the steakhouse,
I spotted him slashing steak.
He looked up with his dispirited stare,
His despair coherent to me.
He summon me to take a chair,
He had a anecdote to unfold,
About the day his spouse left,
The day love revolved to abyss.
He delivered her the works he had,
His body, soul and heart,
Her addiction got the best of him,
She backslid; he fell discrete.
Off she went on a spree, appear like,
A daze of narcotics and booze–
When he faced up to her, she said,
"Fine," and ran off–just think
Of the agony it caused this man,
His eyes folded into his face,
Tears so actuate, harsh and brutal
They are salting him in place.
Yet he turns up at the steakhouse,
Forlornness not his thing,
Through those depressed eyes I can declare
He’s longing for happiness, although
Dealing with the tragedy of losing
A woman once very delightful,
A woman now astray in her sadness,
His sorrow under her feet.

Almost Silver Wedding

ALMOST SILVER WEDDING. Union.....Nuptial knots (arranged or love) of true hearts are tied in heaven(Monoku) An introduction to a new family, elegant people we met luckily, few days later, came a proposal, a lecturer in a french beard, with effervescent eyes, conveying so much in magnitude, few words, signalling vibrations, emotive of mutual bonding and care, "a wedding exceptional',he said, "no dowry,we just want the bride" not many exchange of gifts but an assurance of all that is needed, augment of every meeting together, exalted the charisma of of our pledge in love, respect, happiness and empathy. Twin thoughts spiralled under the marriage canopy(huppah)in virtual symbiotic relation of eternal constancy. Leading me by his hand in his love nest, he has outgrown his comeliness... Swaying beings in better and worse, Can't believe, its 23 YEARS OF WEDLOCK, almost silver jubilee. Contest:My wedding day is special Sponsor:O.E.Guillermo. 19 march 2016.

A Bigger Boy

She loved him more than anything else
She devoted her life to him, faithful as can be
She saw a lot of wrongs, sometimes she chose to be quiet
She hoped and prayed for a change in her man's life

He drank alcohol like there was no tomorrow
He couldn't control his wandering eyes from the many pretty women around
He had no breaks, lived for the present
He barely noticed the love that she had for him
He had no respect for the one woman who stood by him through thick and thin

Now he says he has changed
Now he says, "honey, am not in my twenties anymore"
Now he says, "I love you more than anything else and I will never hurt you again"
Now he shows progress, he is a bigger boy, taking care of his family, taking care of his woman

Maybe this is the part where I quote my mother
"Sometimes when men are young, they are reckless
They do a lot of things that can destroy the marriage
The woman has to be the pillar of the family,
She has to stay strong, stay patient and fight for what she loves"

Without Discipline

Once there was a beautiful boy
blue eyes and snow white skin,
Huge smile melted many hearts
with dimple on his chin.

Innocence enlightened
all who came to see,
With rosey cheeks and baby squeaks
this boy had turned to be...

Spoiled rotten as a child
no discipline for wrong,
Though the adults would not spank him
for once baby did belong.

The teen years were a warning
of future all down hill,
Though no-one seems to care no more
he made his peers all ill.

Marriage, he tried his best
though never was he taught,
When respect is taken
respect it should be brought.

Volatile to his wife
relationship had crumbled,
she disappeared and back not peered
at 'it' that made her humbled.

Though he was sad she left him
he did not understand,
Consequences come about
quite often much unplanned.

Temper could not be controlled
with spite now in his core,
Raging at all others
trouble even more...

Like a puzzle piece which never fit
confinement they arranged,
Ponder some- the baby boy
his life and where it changed.

Throughout Our Marriage

“Throughout Our Marriage
© 2004 Michelle Lynn LeBlanc

All throughout our years of marriage
I’ve only fallen in love all over and over again
Yes, my love for you has only, but grown
Deeper that it’s ever been

I’m just so happy that you were the one
That I choose to have in my life
For your sincere, caring heart and love for me
Have made me so glad to be called your wife

Our marriage is like a chest of treasures
With new jewels and stones to see
As soon as you think you’ve seen all there is
There’s another surprise you can’t believe

Our love is like the pure white snow
That gently falls down from the skies
So pure and soft and beautiful
One can only be dazzled with their eyes

Thank you, Honey, for being so strong
In the days when I’ve been so weak
With wisdom and strength, you’ve often reached out
When I was broken and unwise in speech

I have grown to trust you, Sweetheart,
More than anyone I’ve ever known
And as the years go by Throughout Our Marriage
You will only reap the things you’ve sown!

Allow Me To Love You

verse 1
Let me hold you, let me love you
I believe in you, you're forever true
And I am forever enthralled in you

Hopelessly, undying my soul cries out for you
You've been hurt by others before but I'm not those men
Come here allow me to comprehend views
Allow me to love you

verse 2
Let me hold you, let me love you
Allow me to to all for you
It may be forgotten and old fashion
I even ask you father in person for your hand in marriage

Hopelessly, undying my soul cries out for you
You've been hurt by others before but I'm not those men
Come here allow me to comprehend views
Allow me to love you

Reframe

and I go on my way, I say to you this day
I will never, ever hurt you
for I do and it's true forever and always love you
Oh! I'm not perfect man just a good one
For gracious I am edger to be called by your father son

Hopelessly, undying my soul cries out for you
You've been hurt by others before but I'm not those men
Come here allow me to comprehend views
Allow me to love you
Hopelessly, undying my soul cries out for you
Allow me to love you

I Wonder If He Cries

Time moves by so quickly
I wake up, and 3 months have past,
Most of the time I’m ok
But sometimes my love for him won’t pass.

I wonder if he ever loved me
Truly and with all of his heart,
I ask myself “why couldn’t he forgive
And give in to a new start?”

I am sure he finds himself
Looking up on some days,
Wondering what I’m doing,
Who I’m with, and if I’m ok.

I’m sure he still loves me
And I’m sure he’s still hurt,
I know he’s confused,
And lonely, and unsure.

I wonder if he ever thinks
About going back in time,
I wonder if he’s ever wanted
To take back the hurt and all the lies.

I sometimes wish we had made it work
And all the pain wasn’t in vain,
I sometimes find myself loving him so much
I want to cry out his name.

Yes, my love for him is still hanging on
Oh so very tight,
Although I’ve tried very hard
To let go with all of my might.

I know that he’s moved on
And found someone new,
A new marriage to help him cope
With being sad, angry, and used.

Sometimes I ask myself,
“Could it still work, should we even try?”
And as my heart aches and I bow my head
I start to wonder if HE cries.

Allow Us Two To Get In God Before We Get Connect On the Marriage Bed-

Hey, maybe I’m wait N
Fer a lady

Whose is not connected?
To another
Someone whom is single
No really, single
Then we can fall in love

allow us two to get in GOD Before We Get Connect on the Marriage Bed

Your body yet instill pures
I’ll have nothing ta do wit it
Our hearts and minds, shall pray first
Worship God, we shall together

Until we’ve both say I DO
Then and only, then
Shall we share our marriage bed (the marriage bed)

For honoring God, is better than flesh a quick dip;
Who do you think we ares?
Whom do you think we ares?

For in a relationship, we mustn’t miss
Jesus
And if the temperature rises and we can’t resist
Get married, let’s hurry
For to fornicate is a sin
allow us two to get in GOD Before We Get Connect on the Marriage Bed

For we two shall be married before we carry on, carry on

    Hey, maybe I’m wait N
Fer a lady

Whose is not connected?
To another
Someone whom is single
No really, single
Then we can fall in love

allow us two to get in GOD Before We Get Connect on the Marriage Bed

Your body yet instill pures
I’ll have nothing ta do wit it
Our hearts and minds, shall pray first
Worship God, we shall together

Until we’ve both say I DO
Then and only, then
Shall we share our marriage bed (the marriage bed)

Words of Love

She reached her hand across their marriage bed,
It’d been a stand-off for so many years;
She prayed their love had not grown cold and dead,
His answer could allay her deepest fear:
The love for him she held in unshed tears.
Afraid that they had lost the life they shared,
A life of which he once had spoke with cheer:
She prayed he’d speak those words to prove he cared.

He turned to her as though to speak, instead
He turned away to face the wall most near,
Her hand still out, the tears so long unshed
Fell from her eyes, uncertainty made clear:
The hope that lay inside now faded here.
Her heart was pierced, her need for him was bared,
She felt the pain as knives, so sharp and sheer;
She prayed he’d speak those words to prove he cared.

For love to bloom, then know it must be fed
And heed these words, your heart upon them wear,
For marriage needs much more than daily bread,
Think not that words of love are not held dear,
For hearts will break when words to silence veer.
She lay upon her marriage, boned and pared,
She prayed he’d speak the words she longed to hear;
Although she now knew that he did not care.

Adoption Pantoum

Adoption Pantoum
By Victoria H. Peurifoy © 8/2010

His conception was a surprise
Mom is mad as hell, wants me under a jail
Daughter ages ten years in the process
Marriage is not in the plan

Mom is mad as hell, wants me under a jail
Counselor is making suggestions
Marriage is not in the plan
Give up the child or keep the child

Counselor is making suggestions
Takes one time to make a mistake
Give up the child or keep the child
Want to go to the prom in a dress bordered in daisies.

Takes one time to make a mistake
Give up the child, make mommy happy.
Want to go to the prom in a dress bordered in daisies.
Don’t tell daddy, he’s away, doesn’t need to know

Give up the child, make mommy happy.
Sign away your first born and mourn
Don’t tell daddy, he’s away, he really doesn’t need to know
I heard he was trying to reach me

Sign away your first born and mourn
When he searched for me, mom sent him away
I heard he was trying to reach me
Wonder if he’s fair, brown eyes, and can sing?

When he searched for me, mom sent him away
They changed his name, took away the one thing I gave him
Wonder if he’s fair, brown eyes, and can sing?
Take away the shame, the blame and the pain.

They changed his name; took away the one thing I gave him
Friends cried for him and me when they saw him.
Take away the shame, the blame and the pain.
Lord, will I see my son before you take me away?

Friends cried for him and me when they saw him.
Daughter aged ten years in the process
Lord, will I see him before you take me away?
His conception was a surprise.

What It Is Not To Be Married

As a young girl you fall in love,
Not once not twice but many times,
And then you find a man,
A man you think is the right one for you,
A man you think can keep you happy ,
The dream man you have always wished for,

The farther you are from him,
The more you love him,
Little do you realize that there is much more than just this,
You want to be closer,
Nearer the merrier is what u think,

Long hours of talking on phone,
Countless hours of romance,
Yes, through phone, again,
Little do you realize that there is much more than just this,

You dream of marriage,
Dream of a life with him,
The few days you meet during vacation is all you know of him,
Little do you realize that there is much more than just this,

Then comes the big day, wedding!
It's all dreamy and fuzzy through the 3 days of wedding,
And finally here you are married and as a wife
Little do you realize that there is much more than just this,

Cooking, eating together and going out becomes a routine,
Little do you realize that there is much more than just this,

The first few days is when you get to know each other,
Their preferences , their choices,
You adjust, he adjusts , after all you think it's all a give and take,
Little do you realize that there is much more than just this,

Yes, we keep learning in life , from our mistakes and others,
In this game of marriage you do see different facets of yourself and him,
Anger,love,laughter,selfishness,care,giving,missing and more,
But this should all be tied with a feeling called 'mine'
The minute you think it's 'yours', you always understand things better ,
Never think it's him/ her, think that's yours!
Yours today, tomorrow and for ever!

Marriage, as they say is NOT a bed of roses,
Marriage is not a fairy tale,
Not a fantasy world,
It's not cinema like,
It's not always romantic,
It's not always about you,
Marriage is about understanding,
Marriage is about thinking the other person is yours!
Feel it to live it!

No Regrets

You wanted to have me as your girlfriend
Knowing that I was saving my body
For the man should I one day wed

I am fifty-six years old now
And still never been married
But I continue to believe it’s possible

As a little girl I dreamt
Of marriage and true love
Not sleeping with a boyfriend

My dream didn’t consider
To settle and play house
With someone who I’d never marry

You don’t believe in marriage
Yet you want all the benefits of marriage
Without making the vows

But you knew from the start
Where I stood with my body
It wasn’t a subject to debate

You said you understood
And that you would respect my boundaries
So how come you began to complain?

We kissed and held hands
I was content with the exchange
But you kept saying, “More!”

Your balls turned blue and hurt
What’s that got to do with me?
I’m not the one to fix it

With a distorted face
Your preoccupation with sex
My need for the subject to change

“How about this…” I suggest
“Go take a cold shower”
And you took offense in that

But you lied to me
You got yourself aroused
And wanted to have sex regardless

You created the problem
And blamed me for it
But It was not my problem

You resort to watching porn
The volume muted on your phone
And think I’m stupid

Your preoccupation for sex
Your boredom with my company
The attitude that you’re being deprived

The distance you created
Miles away in your thinking
As you watch naked women on your phone

Shouldn’t I be the offended
You are already unfaithful
We haven’t even been together one month

Now I have a problem
It’s dealing with your ignorance
You didn’t keep your word

But I kept mine
And I can’t tell you how glad I am
For doing it

I would have hated myself
If I gave in to your pressure
It would have been too late

You would have got
The one thing you wanted
And I would still be unmarried

You wouldn't have cared
As I’m left with the emptiness
Of knowing I betrayed my self

We are no longer together
But I still have my virtue
That comes with no regrets

What this has done for me
Is strengthen my resolve
I didn’t sell out.

Even if I never marry
I will remain faithful to my promise
Knowing the treasure I possess.

Slice of Cake

Ever been treated like you’re a slice of cake?
By the kind of sleazy men that slither like a snake?
They’re not the type to give, they’re the kind that always take.
To all the women, listen, and avoid this grave mistake.

This is what I say to men who think they are so slick.
“I’m a lady, not a hoe, a slice, a treat, a chick.
Go away, get lost, quit acting like a trick.
Save your breath for others, such behavior makes me sick.

I’m not some fresh baked cake that you can get a slice.
I’m not a cupcake you can use for your pleasure vice.
Even though you talk sweet, I know you’re nothing nice.
Play with fire and get burned, Cheat and pay the price.

You say I’m pretty and I’m sweet
That I look good enough to eat
But I’m not some fancy dessert
For some dude that wants a treat

Yeah a little bit this
And a little bit of that
A generic compliment here
Predictable flattery there
A married man with an appetite
A piece of me, a taste, a bite

Warm biscuits
Parted and buttered
A hot dish
A Side item
Fast food
In and out burger
Coffee, tea, me??
A dining experience
Yeah, have it your way
Just drive through
Grab it to go
That's what you do!

Why eat out? That’s not what marriage is all about.
Your spouse should be the only meal, a balanced dinner, that’s the deal.
In the privacy of your home, but still you’re on the prowl and roam.
You say you only want a slice, and take no thought about my life.

You eat, wipe your mouth, and say you have done no wrong.
But it’s twisted, and perverted, that’s why I must be strong.
I’m not your food, set on a tray, prepared for you to go filet.
I’m not a snack that you can taste, half consumed then left to waste.
Such display of appetite as you grovel for a little bite.

Sugar-coated, insincere, across the room you drool and leer.
You’re hungry, and you think I’m food. Weren’t you raised to know that’s rude?
Chocolate syrup and whip cream. Im a lady. Don’t act obscene.
You gawk and stare, and you don’t care. You care less that I’m aware.

I’m not a slice of cake, or french pudding for you to take.
Your wife’s the one that you should bake. Remember I am wide awake.
You make a bet with your friends, and think Ill buy into pretend
Convince me love is for a night. Won’t you ever get it right?

Listen ladies be strong and know, these men think its a fun gameshow.
Don’t sell yourself short. Don’t settle for less. Remember you can pass this test.

The Intensifying Love Story

The Intensifying love story by
Madhavi.

I simply adore you, my Mesmerizing
Persona.
As you are my first love.
Who lighted my heart with full of pride and
joy.
Who ignited the ecstasy towards lovely life.
Who relieved my pains and took sorrows
as boon.
You made me fall sick in your love when I
see your madness.
I like the way,
The way you gazed at me and my smoky
eyes.
The way you smiled at my mystifying and
enigmatic appeal.
The way you every time praises me.
The way you galvanized me and proved
the meaning of life.
You are the one,
Yes, you are the one who aroused my
feelings, my emotions.
Yes, you are the one who explored my
passion of love, flaming in my charismatic
soul.
Yes, you are the lovely treasure which god
had baptized me.
Yes, you are the one who turned the page
of my life.
Eureka, I found my true love!!!!
Bewilderedly I did not know, where is my
love taking me to ??
But still I like the way,
Like, the way you clutched me into your
arms.
Like, the way you kissed my palms.
Like, the way you hugged me, caressed
me.
Like, the way you rubbed your fingers on
my lips.
Like, the way you tickled me on my neck.
Like, the way you squeezed my cheeks.
Like, the way you holded me up towards
the sky.
Like, the way when you inspired me to fly
so high.
Tears dropped from my eyes and the very
next moment I realized that it is my
sensational love. My true love. Then I
decided that no one had right to do this
except you. If you want to know the
reason?? If yes??
Yes, because I seriously fell in love with
you.
Yes, because you are the one to whom god
had assigned me to.
And here comes the Swifted instance
when??
When, the moment you wore the golden
ring in my finger and I was happily waving
around.
Just can’t forget the time when our long
lasting friendship turned into lifetime
relationship.
It was just the blooming of two lover’s
indicating the herald of the marriage. It
means a lot for any girl in this amazing
world.
And yes, you will always find my heart
topped with love showered only for you.
For you!!
And till my last breathe, my heart beats,
beating for you, only for you SUYOG!!
In fervour I wanted you to be mine forever,
forever.
We both sojourned in each other soul so
deeply that we just can’t wait for a single
second, unless and until, we share what is
running in our mind. It’s just because we
are so much accustomed to each other
now.
I Love you, adore you, adore you forever
my Love.
