Concluded

Elves, dwarves, mini giants, and hobbits all performed.
But last was Fili as he strutted to the middle of the glen.
Secretly clutching his alexandrite lode, he flew
Straight up ten feet with a view for all to see.
Fireflies flew erratically around him, a ghostly shine.
As Fili moved his clutched hand, he turned.
Somersaulted, spun and returned to his standing stance.
Below the people of the glen clapped in awe.
But now Fili was worried, how was he to descend
And thus receive his well merited prize?
It was the River-maid who rescued him, as she flew
And whispered in his ear. Change the lode to the left hand
She whispered, giving him a luscious kiss.
Soon Fili landed and the Fairy Queen beckoned him.
You can take your first midnight skinny dipping and eat all
The strawberries you like so much, she graciously said.
She took his lode, put it on a crown and on his head it sat.
And now Fili, the hero, was annoyed no more.

Premium MemberThe Naddred: Druids:

As they loomed through the sacred grove,
With staffs of Oak and Mistletoe,
Casting Oghams to the wind,
These men are wise with strength within.

They know the secrets of the trees,
And all the critters that live with these,
Once the kings would sort their counsel,
But they are the Wren, out from the wing.

First Irish chief had three eagle feathers,
Where the Bards were called the Fili,
In three worlds they would venture,
For three is sacred to the order, as is Awen.

The king is the eagle in the Duir (oak)
But the Druid is the wren that flys out from his wing.
                        /|\

The Native Americans have a similar story it goes something like:
As the Eagle soared and was about to claim his kingdom,
Out popped a little wren from under his wing, and flew a few feet higher,
declaring, yes, gaze upon your king, it is I!
In conclusion: It is ok to ride on the coat tail of others as we all do, but at
some point, we all must go out there and make our own path, or own inputs.

For the wren’s nest is also the Druid’s house.

Her Rivers

odore scura de clorofilla
manghi stramature
in potiglia
innamarota di
i fili d'oro
dita vergini interpolano
la gentilezza e un viaggio
attraverso i campi
bruciato i papavero
che circonda i templi
in rovino
di amore appassionato
i suoi fiumi raggiungono
in profondi
laghi di desideri
sotto la superfici
calma de pace

A Chicago Cubs Fan Prayer Answered

A Chicago Cubs-Fan Prayer Answered!

In nomine patri et fili spiritu of Ron Santo!
Let us all give thanks for Ernie Banks!

Let us play........, two!

Our Father, who art in Wrigley Field
Hallowed be thy ivy covered Brickhouse walls!
Thy new stadium will come, the owners will be done
On Clark and Addison, as it is, to sit in the sun with thy bleacher-bums!

Give us this day our daily dread but remove those lights that so offend!
Forgive us our trespasses and Cubs left on bases, as we forgive those
Teams who trespass these hallowed places!

Caray us on and win the pennant race, all’s we’re ask ‘in for Lord,
Is a couple a more runs!

Most of us can't afford a dog or beer in here, but a least da cops is really
Nice around here!

Lead us not into temptation and deliver us to a World Series, while were still young!

So grab a beer and join the cheer, cause we ain't leav'in Wrigley
Till "Yogi" say's it's over in here!

                                        AMEN!
