Fasten On Poems

Premium MemberTry Just One More Time

Life is a journey
It is not a hundred meter dash
It is a marathon of curves and twists
That unfolds in stages

Every phase serves a purpose
In the university of life
No matter how brilliant you are
You cannot be given double promotion
You must undergo and pass every course
For every course is for a purpose

As you ride through life stop-overs
Refuse to be stuck at red lights of life
Keep your eyes on the ultimate price
Be focused and resilient
Persist and become winners
Quitters can only lose
Keep your hands fasten on the plough
Let go only when you try just one more time!

Pumpkin Pie

Just last night it was a good idea to eat that pumpkin pie,
at first it was just a little piece that caught my eye.
But in a little while all the pie was gone,
I thought to myself " Wow that did not take too long!"
Now this morning I have awoke with remorse,
for my pants will not fasten on their course.

I Want What Is Best For Those I Love

Another individual, faced with more residual power,
time flys when they're "fun" controls every hour.
So assess the system and bless the victim, dont arrest the witness or the sources with them.
Were just looking for peaceful progression, but we care if someone loved takes steps in the wrong direction,
its the best profession. To love and let live, above the said sins,
im guiding riding waves that float me so no swim.
Im not angrily ample but he's just an example of your deception,
if you were having "fun" then WE'LL NEVER have a fun session.
Its about time this person decides to start learning,
you'll find the rise of light matter feels uplifting after burning.
So keep drinking to feed your memories,
smoke for the fancy of clever greens,
choke on the vice that you fasten, on your throat that "go with the flow" fashion.
For if that tide carries you to evil that varies, you should know your the reason it happened.. damn
