BALING  HAY

                We three are farmer girls primarily.
                named as Alice, Linda and Emily.
                belonging to same peasant family
               of almost same age holding simile.
               All of us work hard in field merrily.

               We hold skill to cut, chop and collect hay.
               We are performing throughout the whole day.
               Working under open sky and Sun rays.
               Enjoying work staying cheerful and gay.
               Panorama touching horizon gray.

              Linda standing as her bundle is done.
              Emily holds bunch on shoulder in fun.
              Me Alice, baling to finish my turn.
              Since childhood ' Baling hay', we are to learn.
             Farmhouse close by: At eve, we rush, run.

            We are close friends, being cousin sisters.
            Not rock STAR but shine as Bailing Hay STAR.
            Expert to bind bunch of hay in cluster.
            We do job fast, yet try to do faster.
            We enjoy festive days during Easter.

Mary had a little lamp,
Its bulb would nightly glow.
It cast a white, but gentle light,
So her pimples wouldn't show.

Little Jack Horner tried to warn her,
But she told him to go away.
Left feeling glum, he drank some rum;
And passed out in the hay.

Little Bo Peep pretended to sleep,
As she cuddled up right beside him.
When he awoke, neither one spoke;
And she soon decided to ride him.

The Farmer in the Dell, knowing well,
What they both were in there doing.
Called out to his wife, to bring him a knife;
And stabbed them while they were screwing.

Jack Sprat, on the jury sat,
His wife held photos of the scene.
The Farmer did it, Judge had to admit it,
Then passed a sentence that wasn't lean.

So Mary brought her little lamp,
On the day of the execution.
She thought inside, while the Farmer fried,
Better pimples than electrocution.

Riverland

Restless river winds.
       winnowing valley farmland.

       In Father's garden chickens squawk, squabble.
       Silver sunlight dances.

       Hens spurn gardens bounty,
       for girl in dusty pants,
       rattling evenings grain bowl.
       Prancing single file behind
       fowl feet indent narrow path.

       Wind rustles treetops.
