The daisy mobile is coming! The daisy mobile is coming!
Excitement mounts as I spy the yellow giant roll toward me.
Up the hill she rises, showing off her florals and her fanciness.
I smell pumpkin cappuccino and freshly bakes lemon scones.
I am loving what is happening; for the daisy mobile is terrific.
She only appears in November, a month of Thanksgiving.
Chocolate cherry muffins? The mobile’s owner asks me.
My mouth loves it here, salivating like a sieve; I nod.
I have missed you! I tell her. Your frostings and your daisies.
You are too sweet, she tells me. My best customer.
I think we are all “her favorite” customers, she acts like we are.
I feel appreciated and loved as I taste a bite of muffin.

Connie was a terrific best friend
She kept my secrets forever and a day
We were a galloping duo to the bitter end
Then college called, and I was whisked away
Fifteen hands high with a fanciness for fruit
Connie was a gentle filly with a love that was full
My two oldest children thought she was a hoot
No one ever called Connie boring or dull
I envision her running across verdant grasses
A meadow that is taking her love of galloping easily
Connie is giving angel children a ride with passes
There is a special paradise where she rides breezily
I see her black mane whipping in the air, she is fine.
I know she is in heaven, where the best friends go.
I am so grateful that Connie was totally mine.
She will greet me in heaven, this I really know.

THE IRREVERSIBLE FACTOR
‘There is time for everything’.
We have all been saying
All the time in our mouths and minds
But in reality this does not surface in our lives, which I mind,
I blame it on poor planning and indiscipline,
Which are clear in our daily lives, and it’s plain.
A fish does not live on land and birds in water,
Neither do elephants fly.
All have places they habitat.
And so is time; no change, no exchange.
The opportunity today is irreversible tomorrow.
That opportunity when it may come again takes a different façade.
A flying elephant can have a chance in an art gallery,
A nice painting of a bird under the sea and a standing fish on land
Can but give an artistic representation of impossibility.
Passing time has no representation again in both reality and fanciness,
But a history of no amends and reversibility.
If there is no event on a given time,
It becomes insignificant but only takes away a chunk of our limited duration on earth!

What kind of prissy, prancy, fanciness is afoot?
I look down, afraid my wizened mouth might reveal something
I truly have nothing to divulge, but I act mysteriously coy.
She looks like a Cheshire Cat, someone whispers within my hearing.
None of them know that I have dog-ears; only my friends know.
Who?
I hear my name.
Two or three co-workers who rarely speak to me
Come into my office, under weirdly suspicious pretenses,
acting like buddies, four minutes apart.
I gloat in my spider’s chair, thinking of how I would
devour them if I was a praying mantis, wishing I was actually.
“What is new?” one asks me.
I pretend indifference. “You tell me,” I say.
I have never had this much attention.
I guess I should have my buddy, the police officer,
stop by daily, and shut my door.
She seems to have stirred
great interest.
Maybe they think I am more
than a pirate, a criminal?
I put on my poker face for
another round, loving my web today.

Magical muggle, one of my dreams, delight me with your fanciness.
Magical muggle, come closer, and give me a taste of your pranciness.
“What are you doing in there?” My father roars at me.
Nothing, I lie.
“It better be nothing!” my mother says.
They have nothing to do with Muggles, lumping them together as worthless
beings, who generalize witches and wizards, and pick on us,
tormenting us because we are magical and have precognition.
But my gift of foresight has shown that the love of my life
is going to be an enthusiastic, un-biased, faithful magical muggle, and I am
much more powerful than my parents anyway. Grandma taught me that.
Hiding it well, biding my time. My true wizard love should be here in six
years and three days. That is how exact my gift of precognition is.
I smile, roll over and go to sleep, imagining our three
gorgeous half-breed children who will call me Mommy.

Money can't buy happiness
The joy fun times and bliss
We all search for everyday
Can't be bought with someones pay
It's inside your caring heart
And the perfect place to start
Finding a lifetime of memories
You won't forget as you can see
Them every time you think back
To the good times you don't lack
Money can not take the place
Of a child's smiling face
When they're wrapped in a hug so tight
Or read a story every night
Shiny cars and jewelery
Are things some folks really need
But they are just fanciness
One day will lose the glitterness
And sparkle they used to show
But somebody's inner glow
Will remain forever bright
Never losing any sight
That's kept safely locked away
Until it's needed one day
To lift someone back on their feet
Or turn a bad day to sweet
So money means nothing to me
I'd rather be so happy
I am never truly poor
When someone opens a hearts door
Spreading love and so much care
I join in and want to share

I delve into the fanciness of your heart
You believe in me, that is my taste
We will never, ever, be spliced far apart
With you there is never, what I call, a waste
There’s always a home wherever you are
Always, you believe in me, that is my taste
Never do I see you beyond, never too far
Because it’s for a spark, living deep inside
There’s always a home wherever you are
You belong to me, open yourself close and wide
I belong to you, at times I even burn with passion
And, because it’s for a spark, living deep inside…
I strengthen our bond with a love and compassion
You will never be anything but my true love
I belong to you, at time I even burn with passion
You make my life complete, that I will speak of
Always, I delve into the fancies of your heart
You will never be anything but my true love
Together, we will never, ever, be spliced far apart

I love her big eyes! It’s quite expressive!
She makes big things which are quite impressive.
She giggles like a princess in a never ending story.
Seeing her laugh has never been so much blurry.
When she talks, everyone listens.
When she makes ideas, everyone glistens.
Don’t mess up with her if she gets furious,
Her eyes obviously speak! So outrageous!
Fantastically fancy when she sits on her chair,
She isn’t doubtful to help! Coz she do always care.
She has so much potential but she have not noticed,
She is as well good confidante and an honest apprentice.
Time will set her fanciness to shine,
If she pursues her talent, she will able to reach my line.
It may not today nor tomorrow,
That girl will surely hit her dreams in just one arrow.

Don’t buy me diamonds on my watch
Buy me something that can’t be seen
Don’t buy me lies, rather some scotch
For the luxurious life, I’m not too keen
Come to find that watch you bought
Brandishing fine diamonds and gold
Is used to tell time, have you thought?
Maybe you’ve been bought and sold?
For time it tells, the function is such
Lost in the fanciness for what I ask
Fake pedestal, it’s used as a crutch
Guise for emptiness, a clever mask
See, that watch is just a mental bind
Buy me something that always lasts
That petty possession can’t buy time
Anything bought can break like glass
All that you have, just piles to the sky
I want to be free, like a soaring dove
Weightless from the chains I shall fly
What can’t be bought, is surely love.

Almost Ready to Go
How does one pack up and move to an area of destruction?
How does one take all of their mustard seeds and place them on the window sill?
I am about to take the biggest leap of faith I have ever taken in my life
And I say “I am ready to take the plunge with you, my Lord!”
Where ever you lead me, even if in the middle of a cyclone
I will go! Send me! Don’t skip over me and use someone else!
I have been in training for this moment my entire life!
No fanciness
No lingerie
Just a single suitcase, a Bible, and a box of protein bars
We will walk right into the middle of hell together side by side
Just like we used to in the olden days
I am ready to go where ever you lead me, Lord
Let me tidy up my house a bit first!
