Premium MemberFifa World Cup 2023

For two weeks, at all hours, I watched FIFA games
Familiarizing myself with all the players' names
But I won't be viewing the World Cup anymore
after the favored U. S. team was unable to score

Too much drama was promoted, so it would seem
over not singing the National Anthem, but I'd deem
their focus was on winning, as I think it should be
and not on patriotic agendas, "My country tis of thee."

A penguin (mascot) waddles so he can't play football
If he had tried, he'd have stumbled and taken a fall
Not once did I hear his name, Tazunis, mentioned
I don't think that slight of him was well intentioned

The U.S. team was defeated by Sweden in overtime
Their goalie, Zecira Musovic, played a game sublime
Time after time her heroic efforts prevented a score
No goals had been made, but the game was not a bore

U.S. women won the first tourney game by one goal
but wouldn't "Do it Again" and lost their favorite role
They didn't play, "Beyond Greatness," not even close
It was time they fly home and to Australia say, "Adios."

Premium MemberFruitful Performance

Faith-prodded, freedom-propelled…
Fervent pursuit for my Lord I fulfill with prayer
…focusing on precept-propped purpose
…facing the problem---failed plan
…familiarizing myself with God-fueled prudence
…finding the product of flowing peace
…feeling the promise along fathomless power
Fruitful performance* for the Saviour’s glory!

*Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

A New Species Is Born

A rare and exotic being was sighted
One wet and windy night
Such beauty it radiated
Under such a faint light
People they were talking
They'd seen a magnificent soul
Only a mere few were so privileged
As it emerged from a deep black hole
Throughout the night confidence it gained
More frequently it would emerge
Familiarizing itself within our world
Enabling it easier to merge
Unaware to most of the population
A new species had evolved
After years of total isolation
They now wished to become involved
Earthlings had been their subjects
It seems they studied well
Such a calm and peaceful being
With improvements they wanted to tell
Slowly this new species
Merged with the earthling race
Imperfections, illness and disabilities
Soon began to erase
And as they intermingled
And relationships were formed
Earthlings followed their example
And a new species was born

Premium MemberA Date For Two

A candle light formal dinner
Some prefers like that
but as for me
I want it up in a rooftop
Or simply in the garden
A picnic in the rooftop,
Where we can see the skies
Under the moonlit and stars
I wish the house near a beach
So we could see seagulls free
If in the garden..
A flower tuck side in my ear
I wish there are lots of flowerbuds
Half and fully blossomed
So their natural fragrance gloom
Butterflies that will fly
Hope there's a tree we can lean
Or to each other's arms we can lean
Being next to each other
Holding and squeezing each other's hands
Sometimes even a half hug
Or him or me lying on one's lap
Putting a grape or chip to one's lip
Caressing one's face
Familiarizing with each curve
Lots or small talking or no talk
Appreciating the essence of togetherness

Premium MemberOn Timetable Happiness

Past the years of innocence
Moreover the renaissance
Gazing to familiar faces
Familiarizing myself as it effaces

Now, I have been here four days
I can say it's all worth the pay
Was taken aback by few changes
Doesn't matter as long as nothing hinges

Priceless happiness, I can say
Undoubtedly, No one can take
Obviously, I want to stay more
However, I can't as before..

Few months I have been away
Unexpected events make each way
Defying the odds on quay
All the best, I want to lay
