Patience

I stared out at another sunrise,
After one more sleepless night;
And i thought about the man i am,
And wondered if im alright.

I skipped a stone across the waters,
And made a wish or two;
And silently asked my creator,
If there was more that i could do.

I met a man there fishing,
With no fish within his pail;
But he still wore the biggest smile,
And cared not his fishing failed.

I asked him if it was worth it,
To go home with an empty string;
He said its always worth it my friend,
For who knows what tomorrow may bring.

So i applied this to my own life
And found there is nothing wrong with me
For tomorrow just may bring blessings
which today i cannot see

So i applied this to my own life,
I found there's nothing wrong with me;
For tomorrow could bring blessings,
Which today i just cant see.

Blessings From Above

Glory to You oh Lord
For you have given us life
You created a new within
We live our lives in the trinity of Your Holy spirit
To be one with You
As the child grows to love You more
You have given us the eternity that we shall bow before You in praise
Holy may our lives grow more and more each day
That we live to be the example of grace that you have given us
That heaven awaits for us when the time comes
We show glory and honor to You Dear Lord
Almighty King reign upon our hearts so that we may worthy of Your infinite love.

Happy Day'

Have a happy day, when you awake,
Get down on your knees, acknowledge the Lord.
Remember daily your soul is at stake.
So pray in reverence, remember Gods word.

In your daily routine, take time for your Father.
Do you earthly commitments, do your job.
He'll be their guidihng, in things that matter.
Commitments will be met, this is the Promise from God.

Be wary, never loose sight that this is the devils world.
So don't be tricked, because he's a master deceiver.
It may look good, it may look like a perfect pearl,
But, Gods voice is calming, listen to it, and be his follower, because you are His
receiver.

Premium Member Prayers For Lori

Get Well Prayer

Though it may seem you’re traveling
On this rocky road alone,
May this little verse assure you, Lori
You’re not truly on your own.

Your friend Rick has called upon us.
His poet friends from everywhere
Are holding you with loving thoughts
And sending up a prayer

May He hold you in the Hollow of His Hands
As we pray for your each day..
And may you feel His presence with you
On each new step of the way.

	With love,

Don'T Pick the Dross You'Ve Left Behind

Don’t pick the dross you’ve left behind
All those creeds you’ve lost try to find
Be focused till your reach your goal
Let not the world, soil your saved soul

The tempter’s bold yet bad and blind
Don’t pick the dross you’ve left behind
Your reward’s a sweet home… heaven
Don’t end up in Satan’s oven

The right road may seem very rough
And the race may be really tough
Don’t pick the dross you left behind
Even if it’s hard to unwind

We shall finally overcome
When the king of glory shall come
To take those who made up their mind;
Don’t pick the dross you left behind

Eternal Erasers

We are nothing but pencils
In the hand of times and seasons,
Our past and present are stencils;
Rough or smooth… for whatever reasons.

For our past errors we seek erasers,
Their horrors may haunt our history,
In black and white… in pure or poor papers,
We often want to write a new and straight story.

Our erasers may be right attitude…repentance
Because our errors may have grieved our God,
Our erasers may be outright acceptance
Of the Holy One who shed his tears and blood.

Great, Glorious God

The sun may slumber,
The moon may wander,
The sky may turn grey,
The world may turn clay,
One thing will stand sure.

If we break bonds,
If we shun songs,
if we pen poems
for a lost lens;

we will still
be at the
mercy of

a great,
glorious

God.

Timing:The Art of War

its
  as
     if
                 INCUBUS
IS SITTING BACK THERE JUST WAITING TO TORMENT ME

I
 MAY
LOOK
      WOUNDED
but its an ILLUSION

         THE GREAT MAN
what does He want all of a sudden
                                              whats His game

i know His intentions are good but im TIRED of being protected

i try to let go but the fear paralyzes me
its a mixture of REALITY and FANTASY

i havent REPRESSED any of it

the slate is CLEAR MENTAL STABILITY
                             PROPERLY PREPARED PATIENT

confirming my preconception that WE ARE ALL USELESS AND WEAK when we sleep

                                                VISCERALLY
 IM READY TO BEGIN
                                     THIS NEW JOURNEY

Ashes To Ashes

Ashes to ashes
Dust to dust
Is this all that remains
Of us

There is beauty in ashes
For they remember the burn
The passion that lit them
So much did they learn

It’s so easy in this world
To keep looking inside
But it’s only through loving others
That the true gift resides

Pray, praise, laugh, sing
Hold hands that ached to be touched
To turn your attention to the needs of others
God’s reward to you will be much

Humble yourself and prepare to serve
Look for other’s pain
So many forgotten and thrown away
Find the one that needs to feel love and loose the heavy chains

Look deep into eyes of the people you see
Don’t pass by so quickly there may be a need
Are they questioning, seeking or do their eyes plead
You may be the one that God asks to intercede

The joy of serving is becoming a lost art
But the Father beckons us to come play a part
Your reward will be great, your heart will soar
And the day will come soon you will walk with the Lord

The Challenge

It’s so easy to love the loveable
Those that smell wonderful
They are well spoken
Mannerly
Have the same religious beliefs
Political beliefs
Possibly close to the same economic status

But what of the unlovable
They may smell offensive
They may be too loud or too crude
Rude
No religion,
Conflicting political views
Poor and without status
Dressed oddly
And quite possibly scary
And outside your norm

Whatever you do
To the least of these
You do unto Christ
Does that make it easier
