Patience
I stared out at another sunrise,
After one more sleepless night;
And i thought about the man i am,
And wondered if im alright.
I skipped a stone across the waters,
And made a wish or two;
And silently asked my creator,
If there was more that i could do.
I met a man there fishing,
With no fish within his pail;
But he still wore the biggest smile,
And cared not his fishing failed.
I asked him if it was worth it,
To go home with an empty string;
He said its always worth it my friend,
For who knows what tomorrow may bring.
So i applied this to my own life
And found there is nothing wrong with me
For tomorrow just may bring blessings
which today i cannot see
So i applied this to my own life,
I found there's nothing wrong with me;
For tomorrow could bring blessings,
Which today i just cant see.
