Don'T Pick the Dross You'Ve Left Behind

Don’t pick the dross you’ve left behind All those creeds you’ve lost try to find Be focused till your reach your goal Let not the world, soil your saved soul The tempter’s bold yet bad and blind Don’t pick the dross you’ve left behind Your reward’s a sweet home… heaven Don’t end up in Satan’s oven The right road may seem very rough And the race may be really tough Don’t pick the dross you left behind Even if it’s hard to unwind We shall finally overcome When the king of glory shall come To take those who made up their mind; Don’t pick the dross you left behind ~ for “one good quatern deserves another” contest
