Exulted Poems

Premium MemberChoose your weapon

Does the low processing power of our brain,
which fragments rather than cognising the whole,
impose upon consciousness a needless strain,
because we’ve assigned mind a prominent role,
though it can feel not pitter-patter of rain
and most certainly not, the light of our soul?
Choose your weapon, exulted God from heaven;
the wise invoke grace through our chakras seven.

Premium MemberCoven in the Walgreens Parking Lot

With twilight a few days away
Answers were revealed in strange places

Alignment of the planets
A chorus only I heard

A coven of 5 female clowns
Holding hands in a circle
In the Walgreens parking lot
Slowly walking in circles
Chanting some unrecognizable omen

Everyone saw them, only I heard them
You see, folks come to Walgreens
Hoping for a cure
Real or imaginary

An apparition appeared through the mist
Apparently the chanting showed results

A tall figure, hair aflame
Exulted the coven to disperse

Shooting stars hesitated above their heads
Casting an evil glow upon them

Suddenly the clowns disappeared
Screams fading into the trees
Leaving only charred ashes

Omens

       Cast

                Away

Premium Membercrest or trough

we met a friend today
who triumphantly exulted
his profound void experience
as he correlated it with scriptures
jubilant on his remarkable breakthrough
we did not have the heart to tell him
he had but scratched the surface
and that ego death awaited

Exulted

Exulted! That I could inhale
After the breath had ceased –
The timely, saving, gasp(!)
My desperate lungs did seize
Ballooned my aching spirit
As wings that further flight
Will shower land-low eyes
With vistas wide with sight –

Delivered from the crippling chains
That held me struggling, still
My mind – benumbed – was re-engaged
And then, empowered by a vital will
Soundless as the word unspoken
I sudden started to,
As if a link had severed,
And life
Began anew!

Premium MemberLoss of Faith

I tarried for a moment...
I was tender to the sun.
Not sure I would be welcome...
I lay burdened by the one.

My loss of Faith was tragic...
Life's filter gone awry.
It seems of some importance
As I face towards the sky.

Who am I to grovel
For a life that's gone askew?
But one who stands exulted
And in Faith begins anew.

I fear not the nonexistence
Some associate with death.
The Grace of God awaits me
As I take my final breath.

Rooted Sadness

Rim of madness.
A cold draught
of unraveling shocking suddenness.
My grave morality is the subject of suffering.
Twirling reflections so rapid like
a rooted need for my sense of being.

My exulted mentality succumbs to a fever of dark passions.
This savage within;
narrows my reality.
Breathless and trembling as my conscience is stirring.
A cultivated rapture of darkness,
my primal peril of sadness diminishes.

My timeless death gave me formation,
a reality falls shattered.
It's a conflict of illusions of unprecedented expansion, so terrible and fascinating.
It diminishes.

As I grasp reality merely,
A dwelling? A realm? No, it's my rooted sadness.
I'm feeling disposed like a torrent flowing of turbulent emotions uncontrolled.
A grotesque submission of my mental sadness is forever impelled.

The Elegance of the Night

When the Moon fell in love with the night,
Her luminous knight held her ebony hand,
And the Earth twirled with the day out of sight

She wears a crown of constellations, a breath-taking sight,
And as mere mortals sleep, the nocturnal take stand,
When the Moon fell in love with the night

Uncomplaining, never ceasing, then at twilight;
She prepares the blanket of eventide for another land,
And the Earth twirled with the day out of sight

Infinite awe of wonder, Sylph of boundless flight,
The slumber of sleep waited for majestic command,
When the Moon fell in love with the night

Hypnotic plethora of aura, an observers delight,
A silent phenomenon only her realm can understand,
And the Earth twirled with the day out of sight

Her regal stillness exulted by the stars and her moonlight,
The allures of our universe, as they came forth to expand,
When the Moon fell in love with the night,
And the Earth twirled with the day out of sight

Meghan Was the Bold Nurse

The ill woman lying silent in the steel wheelchair
was a lady if elegance living in exuberant riches,
who vividly remembers her as happy, generous, and fair?
Somebody should honor her with hugs and kisses!

Her fuzzy mind recreates wonderful images of adored faces,
of the ones who stood at her side and exulted her kindness;
why have they now abandoned her to a detrimental state?
Have they suddenly forgotten that they shared her full plate?

Meghan was the bold nurse who tended to wounded soldiers,
her white uniform was often stained with their young blood;
shouldn't we remember her now, not when she'll be under the sod?
Keep her constant company and she'll talk about the cannons' blasts.

Holidays come and go, she only hears Christmas carols...
spiritual comfort is what Meghan needs in her profound loneliness;
go visit her and bring her your friendship and prayer,
they will be the best gifts she'll ever receive to ease her despair.

Rhapsodic impulses of skin suffused
Exulted passions rendering, disused

Intensely emotional of flushed amor
A mere filament lisp of a lustful gore

Susurration; within my own sad soul
Mellifluous lullabies 'till I, rest whole

LIVING WITH DREAM

                As lone fighter while struggling,
living with dream on aim to fulfill ambition.

As mother, while raising up daughters,
living with dream rearing offspring with love and care.
Exited to follow them growing up step by step.
            Engrossed in performing duties.

As Grandmother, haply I discovered my childhood
         reflected on my granddaughter.
At present, I am exulted living with dulcet dream
merged in her looks, nature and talks.

In zest and zeal, I feel on surprise to descry
miniature of mine, the sweet princess
                   my most beloved granddaughter.

In last phase my heart is rejoicing
               to watch own child psychology
photographed on emotive urge of my sweet little angel.

FALL INTO FALL

Dropped curtain on heat and heavy rainfall.
Dry leaves leaving tree on appear of Fall.
From deciduous trees yellow leaves to fall.

    Migratory grey geese in gossamer
fly long to mate in Fall after Summer.
Mild merry Autumn zephyr to murmur.

     In drizzles rainbow kisses horizon.
Luster of Autumn is charm of season.
     Passion blazes without any reason.

Glow on abloom flowers and foliage.
    igniting dormant desire to outrage.
     Hesitant lovers exulted to engage.

Torn pieces of drifting clouds float flaunt fly
     Soft sunshine adorning sapphire sky.

An Everlasting Gift

I read in solitude, I found peace.
I read with love, I felt exulted.
I read when I was lonely, I got a companion.
I read when I felt sick at heart, I embraced ecstasy.

I read histories and spoke to the people of the past.
I read biographies and met my mentors.
I read fantasies and widened my jaws at the magic lamps.
I read poetry to master vocabulary.

I read war tales and realised the value of peace
I visualised orphan kids and felt the pain behind hunger pangs
I read love stories and learnt the best life lessons.
I skimmed through adventures and learnt embracing fears.

While I read,
I became a sailor and traversed on salt waters greeting the storms,
I turned into a detective and loosened the knots of unsolved mysteries
I sang with the cuckoos, danced with the dragons and merried with the magic mats
I felt pain, I felt love, I endured every emotion of my unknown friend.

Read to explore,
Read to exercise your brain,
Read to travel,
Read to know another world,
Read to socialize,
Read to boost your morale.

Read children read, for it makes you what you thought you could never be.

LOVE FOR HER

Love for her when heart to dance
                   on early pearly passionate romance,
or missing chance at first glance.

Love for her, when hope soars up high
or days of dismay passing by
Laugh on self? Or just to sigh!

Love for her, when love flows in flood
to feel exulted on bubbling blood
or lost love makes vision blurred.

Love for her, when dreams glaze
                      or expectations tend to erase
or sit indolent only to gaze.

Love for her, when I rejoice
                   listening to amorous voice
or endure failure for wrong choice.

How I Love

?

I couldn’t be feeling

Thus I had been to her

Opposite

What then I was to you.

Now

You know me ravenous

But lover,

She knows me tip-top

And sophisticated.

I was loved by both

Though loved none.

?

She who grasped me

Gluttonous

came, exulted and

Finally scorned .

She who knew me

Respectful

Waited, loved and worried.

?

I always love from my common,

Logical and very much noisy heart.

I love to live, care and return.

I love to build, change and for all.

?

But

I am bad,

Bad when I am hungry,

Bad when food seems

Cheering to me.

I wait for the heart next

And share it with me.

?

I am good,

Good

When I am physically

Reduced at my first sight.

Got the heart decidedly

And share it with me.

?

Don’t I love both of them really?
