Lumps

He has a gargoyle on the top of his nose,
a knobby, kibbled excrescence
The gnarly nose is outstanding,
it rules his kindly face like a goblin prince.
Rose hued it is crusted with craters.
Poor old chap, I can’t help but wonder
how age and lifestyle can have led to
a Hieronymus Bosch grotesque
in living flesh.
Be careful what you eat and drink my friends,
beware of the nose that bobbles and bends,
it’s very malformed presence
could be a sign, a tale, a tell.
of a rocky road to heaven or hell.

Get-Down Let-Down

GET-DOWN LET-DOWN

He took rhino muzzle excrescence
For boost of his hoped for tumescence
But in spite of big dose
From a pachyderm‘s nose
It was useless with no acquiescence

Dotard Trumpery Handpicking Joshua Trump

Dotard Trumpery used to disgust the "ery" excrescence ending his surname,
for apocope he approached Megan Trump and poached her maiden name,
to which Joshua Trump, her son naming after her, dare no longer lay claim,
because from then on he was reduced to campus bullies' fair game.

Pretending to be placatory, Dotard Trumpery had to invite
Joshua Trump to the Slayer-Of-The-Union site.

Trumpery, standing on his rock-and-roll rostrum, spieled song and dance,
Trump, seated off his opposite nostrum, cast ahead no glance;
Trumpery, haranguing high, may presume to be contagious,
Trump, lolling low, just continued to be contumacious;
Trumpery, in skittish stance, legs to prance,
Trump, in stolid trance, his head askance;
Trumpery, right hot, opened his mouth to smear shutters with sputter soars,
Trump, left cold, shut his eyes lest they be crisscrossed by sordid sores.

Impersonating Trump, Trumpery violated Trump's right of name;
Impugned due to Trumpery,Trumpp suffered long dark campus time.
  trumpery blatherskite.

Six-Word Couplet Series Encore

THE BULL
His regular emissions
Worthy of politicians

THE ANT
To the anteater
Nothing is sweeter

THE SLOTH
Feel his chagrin
Labelled deadly sin

THE TURKEY
With justified reason
Deplores festive season

THE EEL
Mobile on belly
Recumbent in jelly

THE CAMEL
Far from pretty
Designed by committee

THE HIPPO
A chubby figure
Mouth even bigger

THE RHINO
His muzzle excrescence
Prescribed for tumescence

My Lovely Angel

Sometime in the distant past,
I appealed to God for a heavenly attendant,
To enter my life, to make it cheerful and happy,
A couple of days prior that darling flew in my belly
I realized my holy messenger was more delightful than even the moon.
The first occasion when she kicked to cause me to feel her essence,
I folded my arms over my little excrescence
Today I brought forth that little bit of affection
She's a bit of my heart, who's cleaner than a bird.
The darling in my arms is better than a marshmallow,
What's more, she is so lovely even without a halo.

Premium MemberAn Early Experiment

The mirror reflects, obliquely,
a peculiar yellow butterfly -- it flutters, flutters
the specks of black my beard is made of
on the breeze. A daffodil hangs down its treasure
and I spread shaving cream, in great white puffs,
shielding from the windy noise its yellow
across my face. The nose protrudes, ridiculous
excrescence. A leaf half green sweeps up in circles
in the whiteness all around. A weak chin, think I,
of windy sighs. Squirrels crack acorns, crunching,
down into a patchy neck. Very unsatisfactory
remembering winter's almost famine. The trees --
appearance. Altogether so. Oh well.
Quiet. Steady. Sturdy. Oh well.
The mirror reflects, but not uniquely.
