Silver Lining

Storms may come,
And rain may fall,
Shadows may linger,
Yet light finds its way through,
For every dark cloud has a silver lining.

Collaboration with Marcello Eans

They say that every dark cloud has a silver lining.
Over the years, I’ve come to believe this more and more.
I realize now that everyone’s paths are intertwining.
In the hallway of life, there are many open doors.

They say keep the baby forever & throw away the bath water.
Given birth to many children, I’m a freshly taught father.
In my study of life, man is slowly connecting.
Behind those open doors, do you know what you’re expecting?

They say to love someone, you must first love yourself
And, if that true love only comes from within,
Then we must choose the path that is best for ourselves,
While keeping the door open for others to come in.

The Dark Clouds Over My Head

There I am
In the calm before the storm
I am here to warn you
Because warning always comes before destruction
This is act 1, I'm going AWOL
I'll be lucky to get out alive at all
And if I die and fall
How could I remain a surviver
Don't think that I have forgot that every dark cloud has a silver lining
Or that I have accepted death as my only means of escape
I'm in a trance, I transcend distances greater than the depths of the Atlantic
I'm going through the gate of Life and I'm not coming back empty handed
A familiar spirit speaks and on the screen you see the message
I will not retract at all, it is the Lord my God Who fights my battles
