Epinephrine Poems | Examples

2:55

Five vials of hope before 2:55,
An epinephrine Saturday feast
After midday, preventing time to arrive
Again, to stall the curse at least.

The single drop of tear tells it all,
I guess I've seen it coming.
And it did, but very stealthily, the fall
Disguised in serene eyes staring.

Broken voices of 2:55 and hence
A glass of water, a pat on the shoulder,
Paper works, the waiting, querying the sense
Reduced to an atheist's prayer.

The chaos ceased, all quiet on the front.
The war is lost; not a dream did survive.
Life is a poem that is so blunt,
All gone, after midday at 2:55.

Cosmos, the element of who we are
seraph of breath
through anger
and euphoria

this is the body
Waiting for lighting.

Blessed with a low temblor,
A lesser-known form, stringy hooks,
The weak pry that forms the glasswork

stand firm
storm wakes up
Calm down ebbs

lever and lock

sparse timetable
unfold and describe the owl.
to broadcast;
             to make
                  a hollow
                        swag left

from the pole, wooden
we rise above the wind farm
anniversary

our swirled fossils stitched
our disaster set
hold aspirin
              digitalin
                 digitoxin
                    adrenalin &
                            Epinephrine

sustained
by our soul
even if you think you mistook it

there
it endures
every time

Premium Member Dark and Mystical

Driving through darkness
Of murky streets ,
Yesterday's inconstant moon
Too had vanished ,
No shadow,
No life visible,

Just before the dawn
The darkest hour,
By reason of heart
I desired to meet,
Reached out
In wink of stars,

A sinister laugh
Still in the dark,
Cerebrate within reason
And my world crashed,
Epinephrine gush
I rushed back,

Intuitive I was
Of inquitous plot
Keep it dark,
An absolutely
Dark and mystical
Gloaming nightfall !!

Premium Member Fire Ant Mind Control

Everyone says the government will be the first to develop mind control, (or that they already have) but it seems as if a species of fire ant (Solenopsis geminate) has beaten them to it. Entomologist Anastasia McKay noticed that animals tended to avoid Solenopsis geminate nests; this made her wonder, what causes the animals to stay away? After studying the chemical releases of the ants she found that they continuously release small amounts of epinephrine and norepinephrine; the chemicals that create a fight or flight response often known as fear in most animals’ brains, including ours. When the animal’s brain registers the chemicals they will veer away from their path, causing them to completely avoid the fire ants’ nest. “This form of natural protection is ingenious and unheard of.” McKay says. So, the next time you feel an unnatural fear you know that either the government has finally developed mind control, or you have come across a Solenopsis geminate nest.

Premium Member Fantasy

Consonant to your mesmerising charm,
I camouflage all declamatories,
Unavowed in step with the times,
End up at a secluded place.

Swindler you were, failure of my judgement,
You detriment my feelings, corrode my interior,
Eclipsed my radiance, walked over my prejudice,
I writhed in pain, blanked out.

Frozen and exhausted, woke up to horror of dark,
Epinephrine stays, reconciliate with the shock,
Triumphed with your warmth,I calm down.
A fantasy , a fictive chiller- never to treasure!!

Card Game

The Queen of Spades trumps all
In our game of hearts
And other organs
Tangled in Greek and Latinate names
Ependymoma
Epinephrine
Endymion
Wake up, Shepherd!
The Black and the Red
Call you
Kings and Queens battle
The rules don’t allow for discarding
Draw from the deck,
Choking the progress with wheeling lights and coloured geometric shapes
Hearts
Spades
Diamonds
Like crystals
Crystal methamphetamine to make the cards fly faster
Clubs
Club the senses
Introduce new shades, purple kush
Orange and yellow sunrise
Swirling blue and gold
Smoke goes up and enter the kaleidoscope.
Your kaleidoscope is white
Fluorescent light
Perfect background to lay the tricks
Deal the hands
And take your pick
Buy? Fold? Try again?
And when we’re done
We’ll pick them up, one by one
Put them in order again
And lay them away in the dark.
Sleep, Endymion.
The Queen with the black eyes is your sign
In dreams, everything is fine.
