Premium Member Lava of Gold

To write or not to write?!
The matter of the heart,
of want and need and must.
A passionate affair -
more like craving than lust.

To write or not to write?!
Commodity of soul,
neither be sold nor bought.
Pure product of a muse -
more like fine food for thought.

To write or not to write?!
An altruistic quest,
the yearning of free will,
dictated by a pen -
more like a feather quill.

To write or not to write?!
Poetry’s endless flow
defies the term of “old”,
enflaming intrigued minds -
more like lava of gold.

Premium Member In the Silence

Breaking through her reserve
She undresses the longing in her eyes
A promise of surrender

She is aware her message has been received
By the knowing smile on his lips
His eyes already claiming her
Disrobing her
Caressing her

Suddenly shy, she lowers her dark lashes
Trying to find safe ground again
But it’s too late
He knows…he KNOWS

He leans in to her to whisper in her hair
To clothe his desire in words
But momentarily is arrested
By the sensual scent that envelopes her, enflaming him
Surprised by the silence, her head turns towards him

A unplanned meeting of lips
Inhibitions and questions….lost in soft exhange
Words never spoken
Yet passion’s eloquence clearly heard
In the silence

Premium Member My First Time (Trois Par Huit, Tanka, Rondel)

My first time,
Sexual pleasures climbed,
Was with an experienced lover.

She handled me so gently under the cover;
Knowing I had never been taught by another.

Protecting my fragile male ego;
Unleashed my libido
Down below.

This first love of mine,
Through her kindness and patience,
Was, to me, divine.
Forever, to her in debt
For future pleasures I met.

How lucky I was to find a lover so kind,
To teach me the sexual act.
Cuddling my id with emotional tact;
Enflaming my passionate mind.

As sexual tensions in my youth unwind
Cognizant of the knowledge I lack;
How lucky I was to find a lover so kind,
To teach me the sexual act.

So now, when an inexperienced lover I find,
My first lover I try to pay back,
By remembering the knowledge that I once lacked,
And to her fumbling ways stay blind.
How lucky I was to find a lover so kind.
