Enfeeble Poems

Premium MemberWinter Waits

The breeze blows icy arrows, piercing flesh
The pale sun's rays enfeeble yearning hearts
Commuters scurry, hats in scarves enmeshed
Monday morning, December's forlorn start...

Returning home, the winds do scream and howl
At downtown throngs that empty out at five
But first a drink to wipe away the scowl
That makes a face look deader than alive...

Back home again with family so warm
All sitting by the fire, in cuddling arms
Protected from the reach of winter's storm
Soon dreaming dreams, not fearing any harm

Though outside Winter waits with open arms
To hug brave fools who tempt December's charms

Deceit o’ bloodred,
Languish droplets bled
Elements purge forlorn
Happily e’er after battle-torn

Cruel lips kiss adieu,
Loathsome toxin askew
Slumber still mercy mine
Ador bore thou decline

Tangled web of lies,
Depths of loveless eyes
Pierced by devious dart,
Enfeeble, tis terse impart

Remiss of presence so
Willful heart nary let go.
Welcome harbinger grim,
Laid broken, weakened dim.

Come hither sweet respite
To thy favor, I so submit.
Love’s demise hardens regret,
Behests reminisce lest I forget.

Shall This Cold Bring Only You To My Mind

Shall this cold bring you only to my mind
Less I will not forgive it for disrupting the night
That you are in such untouchable distance is of prime
And that this cold shall make my passion cry
These droplets that enfeeble this body of mine
Brings forth journeys of wingless flight
In such obligation, it must bring me to you
And place me beside you all night through
And place you beside me till the dawn dues
Else then this droplets I shall consider measly:
For then they seem as agents of jealousy
Against my peaceful night and slumber
Let this storm bring us together
In some ways; in dreams or wonders
For your warmth is full of such embers
That blazes the heart and the body
And splints the eyes and fingers
Then consumes the soul wholly

On Readers Digest 1

One of the resourceful books unbeatable;
Children’s love, care and comfort biddable
Is none better than Reader’s Digest – capable.
Articles, reports, jokes and anecdotes audible;
All are present in it; all are undoubtable.
Changing the mindset of students capable
Is a new, systematic thing coachable.
Changing the world and its cannibal
Into the virtues and values bindable.
 Explaining itself if anytime culpable;
And so is famous for being countable.
Teachers, parents, students ennoble
Reader’s Digest for not being enfeeble.
Leaders or followers who are like a crucible
Change their minds and be bendable.
Behaviour and conduct – key undoubtable
Will keep you atop, elevated, lofty and able.

You Are Commendably Beautiful

You are commendably beautiful,
If beauty were time, you'd be eternity,
Your seductive smile is a problem for solution.
A twinkle that can only be shown in your eyes,
The sparkle in your beautiful eyes,
provides the object of endless commentary.
It burns like blazing fire,
Just as I have loved you like a moth to a flame.
I came once looking for your soul,
Now captured by tormented dreams,
Believing I'm climbing higher,
Intensity enfeeble me
When you speak my name in ecstasy.
Whispering ancient songs unsung,
With the rhythm of my rhyme.
Rapture fills the air
When I see you standing there.
I never want it to end
A warmth exuding as your own private fountain.
It feels so good the way it takes over and over again.

Moods of the Macabre

Fragmented by each malevolent mood
tranquility would boast in abundance
whereas abhorrent ramblings enfeeble
sustaining one's savagery of the mind.

How macabre does it feel to believe,
that once a traversty is committed
another takes it's place in elegy;
towards it being forced by vengeance.

Not to incorporate the calamity of things,
but they to whom reverberate, it brings.
