The new sun rises in her halcyon horizon,
infuses the living light from creative cosmic edge
into a nascent frame in the haven of her embrace.
Her timeless pulse throbs within the marvel.
Ethereally elegant innate protective trait
turns on her satin skin into ornate embellishment,
designed with the lattice of mother’s love,
adorning the featherless angel.
The oomph and zing of extra spin
adds razzmatazz to shot akin
to the standing ovation din
a hole in one gets for a win.
The cream screams to the top.
The razzle and dazzle of dance
shake, rattle and roll of romance
is enhanced by the oddball prance
of a jitterbug jive freelance.
Bebop is king of pop.
Jazz embodies the extra dash
of syncopated mish and mash
adding gems of splish, splosh and splash
improvisation in a flash.
Flip-flop until you stop.
Sometimes to make more interesting,
A story being told,
Some folks will try to enhance it,
To make it sound more bold.
Sometimes when we're relating,
An experience one's had,
Certain things are added,
To enhance the good or bad.
Often when retelling,
Some newsy bit of info,
A supposition can slip in.
The story changes, bingo.
Whether to make it exciting,
To help or hinder tried,
It isn't simple embellishment.
The truth is that you lied.
