Boarding School

you took me down to Eastbourne boarding school
to offer me a palliative
to cure my dyslexia
I lived for your letters
until the teachers got it
to a fine art
" No news is good news"

Each teacher telling they cured you
one naturally took exception
Latin and French lessons seemed to be a distraction
I needed English
Every pupil a curates egg
their backgrounds so prosaic

The cat with three legs
and the whipping tails of the Heads Labradors'
And preparing strawberries
with the Dutch chef
told me I missed my North London abode.

Anne

When the acorns are vast
Winters throws are Multindous
A particular Cafe Nero to go
where I meet Anne for the first time
and she remembers the 70s
like everybody's yang and yin would like to

Good tidings to know her
Still Im playing with breezes I don't know
Single with no children
a Tory stalwart
Just a brother in Eastbourne
I am the laughing man
carrying fate on his shoulders

A Tea Named Green

The full Moon shines upon us on this Earth
Exquisite in its shape and in its girth

Lighting up the World from where ever we may be
In England, sunny Eastbourne, to Miami by the sea

Through a pair of good binoculars, I search the sky, what can that be
On a clear night with a full Moon, it’s the Sea they named Tranquility
And other Seas named Nectar, Clouds, and Showers and Serenity

As I gaze through my binoculars, skyward, into infinity
I behold a passing Spaceship landing on the Moon headfirst
I then begin to wonder and question the reality
How a traveling transient Spaceman can ever sate his thirst

For amazingly and despite those Seas, no water can be found or seen
For a dehydrated Cosmonaut to make a pot of tea named green …….

I Envy You Oh Father

I envy You Father Heavenly I really do ,
You made the world and you did rest now i am crying here what i can do best just cry and little laugh and smile again why cant i be like you in rest ?

I am so tired of this life many times i was since i was maybe 12 i wanted to go somewhere faraway where sun goes down to follow it , to never let the night come because... maybe... maybe sometimes living was fun .
So i followed the sun from east to west now i wanna rest i really like to rest , monotony of tears and struggle the same thinking what now where will i end ?

In heaven or hell or at least on Your heaven stairs as you know i am moving it might be a Broadstairs or Eastbourne or somewhere far the best if it was somewhere above stars where Heaven is Yours and earth down below this time here runs once fast once slow .

I really need a break from it all from all the worries the pain the regrets , the tears and headaches from the cry.. I miss You Father dear
             please may i die? :)

To another stellar silver for her lamps.
