My creed

My creed means to me,
Kind smiles for all I see,
Alms for donations,
Lord my liberation,
Serving the community,
Praying for you and me,
Believers are human too,
In our mortal zoo,
Creed means I can say,
Be you beautifully today!

My poetry's too cute

  I'm better off mute ~
    though I'm forgoing cremation

Premium Member The Highest Srage of Emptiness

Emptiness may come in the form of
Poverty caused by the lack of the esssentials for life
Struggling by emptying energy to earn a living
And satisfaction on a give and take basis for happiness
But the highest stage is satisfaction
Take pressureless, greedless, selfishless and guiltless to yourself
And give away donations and sympathy for others

Donations

Donations

Every week I`m asked for donations
for worthy causes although my sympathy
is for the reasons such as the plasticization
of the oceans, the vanishing bees and etc.
I find myself unable to send money firstly
because I have only a small pension if I could
I would have sent money to everyone.
My only offer is to write about the havoc
we are causing to our world, and I shudder
to think when our excreta becomes packed
in plastic and the fish drowning in our
pollution that so quickly can be stopped.

Donations

Donate to a worthy cause
And this is what’s in store –
A feeling that you’ve done some good…
Until they ask for more.

For one donation’s not enough;
Requests will keep arriving
And soon the word gets out
That other groups you are depriving.

So charities you’ve never heard of
Send you their appeals
And though you toss them out, you really
Don’t like how that feels.

Your name’s not Gates or Buffett, though,
So it’s not really fair
To think that if you don’t respond
It means that you don’t care.

It’s nice to donate what you can
But not to every pitch,
For those requests should filter
To the really, really rich.
