Sea-dipping, my all, once of me did peel
Yond its shore-broke ferment.
At peace in bubble realms, opulescent;
As must the dying feel.
diving into a dumpster?
please let it be mine.
It’s overflowing again today
And my garbage is fine
You might find a toaster
That worked at one time.
You might find some gross panties.
Those are not mine.
They say, one’s man’s trash is another man’s treasure,
one person’s sins, is another person’s pleasures.
What ever floats your boat you see,
all kinds of things, been said to you and me.
But not all, are healthy, they can make you sick,
in your heart, they become a prick.
We were raised in the darkness, so we could live in the light,
as through our lives, our flesh and spirit did fight.
The flesh wants to live now, but the spirit, forever, you see,
so our flesh, and spirit’s shall never agree.
And sometimes this can make a wreck of you,
if one person’s sins, is what you do.
We weren’t created, to live in the darkness forever, you see,
stay outta the dumpsters, leave those pleasures be!

For Me.

Yeah, Yeah...
Weakness Comes
From Necessity,
Like Vulnerability
Leads To Sensitivity.

In diving the coast off Aruba,
He thought he would play his best tuba.
The fish thought it odd,
The stingray said “Todd,
That isn’t the way to do scuba.”

I'm way ahead of the darkness that cast shadows
& there's no looking back when moving with his light
I'm light years away so even if you're walking by
I'm still way too out of sight
Crystal clear blue sight sees the waves way before
they reach gritty shores
I pulled anchors & set sail to see what this voyage
had in store
The answer for many of life's questions can be found
in deep waters you won't visit because it's cold
Too deep for the thin skinned but you must dive as
fortune favors the soul that's bold
I'm sold on this fact based on experience not vicarious
stories told to win
The wages of going to war with yourself can't be counted
but you're paid handsomely for the win
Immerse yourself in the battle & lock in for this is the
key to your elevation
I surmise that there's many counting themselves out
but this is a guess not summation
A hypothesis if you will as I don't know you, but the
joke is on you if you don't dive
Many hide behind masks of jest but the joke is on you

Dumpster-Diving Deity
By Mark D. Stucky
Dirty, broken, and forgotten,
discarded as worthless junk
at garage sales and trash collections,
were treasures I have rescued.
Where others saw rubbish,
the eye of this beholder
saw creative potential.
After repairing, cleaning,
and polishing or painting,
the old items were resurrected
into new lives and new homes
with myself and others.
Likewise, the Word-made-flesh dumpster-dove
into the bloody wreckage of our world,
to rescue us from our garbage heaps,
repair our hopeless brokenness,
scrub our grimy hearts,
polish our potential,
and find us forever homes
within divine community
in this world and the next.

In superhuman ability or the golden ring sought
filling the lungs to capacity into the waves besot
Faster and deeper into the depths sleek as if born to this world
Seeing what few will ever as around its denizens swirled
Diving off an undersea high rise of stones not trodded by men
my own breath becoming troubled she dives deeper and deeper again
Sprinting alleyways on the seas floor between walls cut precisely by time
Or chiseled by The will of God a workmanship sublime
The danger of becoming so fully entranced must remain uppermost in mind
As to aid in the returning to the world of the land breathing kind
Unencumbered free flowing soaring leaping in a single bound
how does she talk herself into returning to this now unhallowed ground
Awash in this world without chaos quieted by purpose of thought
Off the wheel off the chain this my friend can't be bought
Watch it yourself see what I mean live it through the fearless eyes
Of a free diver plunging into the surf to traverse it's watery skies
What is it that keeps me
Diving so deep
Into a look
A word,
A feeling,
A name
For something eternal
A connection to what?
A past, a present, a future?
This dark stagnant soul
Starving for energy
Drawn to the edge
Of the big black abyss
That takes you
Somewhere
Anywhere
Someday
But for now
There's baby smiles
Birdsongs
Fresh rain
Morning coffee
And a face
That knows yours
Even when it's long gone
Diving for nothing really
Buy squeeze the last juice
Out of this life
As if there'd be another face
And time to know it
Thank God for the baby's smile
Waking up to birds singing
Morning coffee
And, well
You, my ghost
Kept your vow
Even after the one
And so many other
Little deaths
You don't part
I can dive to the bottom
Of everything I see
Everyone I meet
And you know I will
Damn it
And all there's left
Is the baby's smile
Birds singing after fresh rain
and morning coffee
I've already dove so deep
and found myself
So many
Too many
Times in
The only place I've ever been
The man with launchpad hair glides by
Glowing orange in the mountain view
A red balloon bobbles by his side
The other man holds his diaper high
Blows bubbles and waves a magic wand
Hand in hand both men dance in circles
Skip right off the cliff together
Or is it to the left of heaven
As the media suggested
They kiss the world good-bye
Off to see the wizard and Jesus in the sky
And as many other constituents who can fly
A giant crystalline hole
of deep ocean
water.
Adventure
for swimmers
and divers
brave !

It lay gleaming in the window
It was the day after payday
You newer know when you are in too deep
I went inside
Looking at a diving watch, a quite good-looking one
You newer know when you are in too deep
A pretty shop assistant
Her smell
You newer know when you are in too deep
She didn’t smell bad
She didn’t use perfume
You newer know when you are in too deep
But her smell hit my nose
It must have been the day before ovulation
You newer know when you are in too deep
She was too young
The setting was all wrong
You newer know when you are in too deep
Holding that watch in my hand
Looking at her
I knew I was in too deep
My basic instinct, from the stone-ages, was put to bed
I decided to try another shop too
I knew I might find a better price
Been wearing my watch for 25 years
I will never reach the max diving depth of my watch
But I know I can get in too deep
