Gethsemane,
And sweat like blood.
Disciples quite
Misunderstood.
Golgotha's cross,
Forsaken cry,
Misunderstood.
Why does he die?
In borrowed grave,
Cold death entombed.
Misunderstood —
Disciples' gloom.

Alive again!
Still disbelieved,
Misunderstood
By hearts deceived.
Misunderstood
Today? By you?
Know you not what
He came to do?

Premium Membera rooster that plays a guitar

A rooster that plays the guitar? No way!
They disbelieved me on this October day.
So I took them to Red’s Shed, so merry and gay.
Where my friend the rooster was strumming away.

We have never seen this before! One said.
She gave him a wink, and he lost his head.
He came over to ask us for requests of course.
Could you play something fun? Asked my friend the horse.

Fun is my middle name, the rooster replied.
He did up a set, and had it totally amplified.
A rooster on a guitar! Said my bestie, Maggie McSums.
All of the other ones I have met only play the drums.

Even Vulcans Die

Standing on a mountain of a distant place
looking along the valley of time and space,
Death appears as roiling,boiling mist,
we might run in fear and desire to survive,
in the end he will claim us all all on his list.
Their is no escape the cry of those who disbelieved,
offering billions to the gatherer of souls in vain,
what use has death for riches and things,
One that can go where he wills and desires,
Reaping all with his mighty scythe sharp and cruel,
throwing all onto his eternal fires.
many will beg and crawl with words of "Im Sorry ",
Save me please, turn your back and hide your ears,
they betrayed you once and will do so again,
destroyed a world for profit and gain
lied to us over and over caring not for mortal souls.
All those of light fear not we may die ,
our essence though will fly to the stars whence we came,
Those who walk in shadowy dark light,
are forever doomed to endless pain.

World War 3, if such a war would happen,
will probably not be what we expect.
A war is being waged right now, and yet,
by many, it is not even suspect.

A Trojan horse I’d say that it resembles.
It looks so nice that it’s got good folks fooled.
While those aware of it spill wisdom’s words,
their thoughts are disbelieved. They’re ridiculed.

The kids in schools in nearly all the world
are being taught new ways. These ways seem sweet.
They cancel culture, rewrite history,
and do not care for concepts like “compete.”

They put their propaganda on the news,
on the internet, and in the movies too.
They’d have us all live in a New World Order
where things against our will we’d be forced to do.

They have a goal to make us all be cashless,
dependent on them – freedoms stripped away.
It’s not a war with bombing or live combat.
They want us under their deceptive sway.

This “war” we’re part of has been planned for years,
and in my country, China has been taking
our land and money. Communism’s creeping.
Alas, we’ll fall unless all start awaking!

Premium MemberParty To End All Parties

It is the party to end all parties the host said
You have to come; it is on New Year’s Eve
Sorry people began to apologize. I have plans.
He believed some, but disbelieved others.

What makes it a party to end all parties? someone asked.
The host was a prophet, he saw the end of times
At midnight on New Year’s Eve.
You will see, he said.

Miracle Man

From the bed of death I once returned,
because God had an unfinished work for me.
He bestowed more life, and it unearned,
I’m alive today by the King’s decree.

With death angel stayed, others saw His greatness,
as a surgical team faced a near hopeless task.
God blessed the Doctors with a great sedateness,
and any who disbelieved God did unmask.

Premium MemberA Testimony- 1-

Graphic times viewed and passionate rhymes
Hostile schemes darken dreams
Nightmare falls collateral
Horrid beings disbelieved
Humanity screams they incite "whatever"?
Me scared of no demons or devils in hell
Wow yet in this space I hold my place
I'll rise up amongst with the human race
To forfeit my treasures here on Earth
Alas back to heaven for I have been rebirth
To live in my mansion me and I with the Angels, Jesus and God
This verse may be tight
But you know by reading this it is right
Perhaps I may see you there when I all singing dancing we're all saying singing Hallelujah

Premium MemberAll That Tinsel

Colored lights draped over elaborate wire trees
Festive wreaths dressed in ornaments to please
Christmas songs piped in, one after another
Outside a bell-ringer chirps, Merry Xmas, brother

Yet nearly every guest room's empty
Seems no one's checking in or out
No line at the front desk either
   There's hardly a soul about...

A hotel lobby's a lonely place Christmas Eve
   All that tinsel's a harlot's make-up, disbelieved

Premium MemberThe Sin of Unbelief

There was a time when I disbelieved
in the true sense of what it's to believe
I knew not of the true living God
in this state, my soul could only grieve

But God was faithful never giving up
revealing himself in the person of His Son
this son of God is revealed in holy writ
the Lord Jesus Christ the saviour bar none

I thank God for the conviction of my sin
in my heart thinking what can I do?
the gospel which I never had heard
then in the mid-20s I heard this is true

This was such a revelation to receive
realising to not believe brings death
needing spiritual birth to truly believe
God is sovereign even to our very breath

Now for 37 years, I've followed Jesus
the one who loves me fully without measure
He went to Calvary's cross paid for my sins
setting me free to believe on my treasure

Premium MemberHonesty Is the Whole Package

Honesty is the whole package
Blowing the other bridges to bits
Living her truth
Loving her people
Utterly trustworthy
A well-put-together package
of respectfulness, goodness, and fair trade.

BOOM! What was that?
The lies of men blowing themselves up
in their confused dendrite fields
Trying to keep themselves straight but losing bitterly
For the truth is easy
But the lie has to be re-done,
She never shows herself without conflict

Truth's nature is easy.
to convince people of her worthiness she just has to be
Lie's nature is to perpetually be disbelieved
Unhonored, unrevered, and disrespected
BOOM!
There they go, blowing themselves up
One after another
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
I get no satisfaction in listening
Recognizing the sorrow caused by sad betrayals
and hurt feelings caused by liars

Premium MemberThe Real Existence of God

Mankind is filled with many beliefs
they would be sincere there's no doubt
but sincerity alone won't be enough
so life's so complex what's it all about?

One feels for that pagan so honest
but makes up a god all of their own
can such a god do anything for them?
where's the evidence? can it be shown?

Of course there on the other side
one who rejects God's evidence
despite the authority of God's word
in his own ability is his confidence

God is very big having real authority
He sent his son to buy real salvation
mankind needs to believe God's message
listen well to AW Tozer's quotation

The real existence of God
is in the heart of all His own
His love is full beyond measure
being truly their chief cornerstone

(Quote:
"I sympathize with the mood of the poet Wordsworth when he wrote to the effect that he would rather be a sincere pagan who believed in a god that did not exist than to be a sophisticated Christian who disbelieved in a God who did.")

Premium MemberFrom Heart To Heart

Children placed in foster homes are
swiftly shuffled from heart to heart.
Breaking links in a chain of love;
goodbye; precedes every new start.

Wary eyes scan every fresh face,
trying to catch a glimpse of hope.
But intolerance and half-truths;
aggravates their plight, so they cope.

Love sounds like an empty promise;
delivered by a silver tongue.
For it's either misunderstood,
or disbelieved in hearts so young.

They've been suckled on hope and fear,
feelings felt from an early age.
And on realizing their fate,
they oft succumb to inner rage.

They remain undesirable
right up to their eighteenth birthday.
Upon which; labeled a burden,
they are abruptly sent away.

The Most Authentic Life

The man lives with what they give him,
being one of those needy people
 who can't construct his own
or even select from a much broader range
 of things to be.
 The man is awed
when he gets the signal to be awed,
 when he receives signals about
 enormity of this and that
 his eyes should be disbelieved.
 The signals might say
 "this dwarfs you";
or could say, "this is beyond you,"
or that "the beauty here will humble you."
 It will.

Faces of Lonliness

On that fateful dusky evening about an year ago,
My eyes disbelieved as they watched you fade away at a distance real slow.
My happy world crashed and fell apart,
I could never gauge that I would have to undergo this at the very start.
But somehow I believe that you knew this from the start,
If only, I could have warned my, now bruised heart.

That gloomy evening I watched until I could see no more,
You, your figure your form and body any more.
From its dwelled edifice, my soul,
Began to rip itself glowing like a burning charcoal.
Now aloof from me and its temple, my soul,
Could clearly see in place of my heart is left a dirge hole.

I began to gasp for air and breathe,
The aches and pain my skin it has learnt to sheath,
To release from within me a scream, a screech or a painful yell,
But they not, “faces of loneliness” hide or quench and quell?

My heart, mind, body and a homeless soul seek a place for them to hide,
But cruel fate has my life exposed and opened very wide.
My sulking tears their potent energy bust the rampart of my emotional dam,
To God almighty my plea is some solace that I seek to come upon and loneliness ban.
