morning was sadder than april

he looked at his clock and calendar at the same time
then glanced back at april before it ended
and ahead to may before it had begun.

there were no flowers spraying color or fragrance…
no breeze to push the clouds along
and no promise of hope beyond the horizon.

it was morning and morning was sadder than all of april
—nowhere to turn, nowhere to hide—
just time—minutes really—before he had to go.

there were no birds in the sky on a day such as this…
third monday—april now too far gone—
 yet may too far away.

morning was sadder than all of april
and he had chosen to watch as april surrendered it’s place
 to the delegation of memories.

morning pushed hard on the clouds,
moving quieter than the silence of daybreak,
waiting like a vagrant at a bus depot and with less hope for kindness.

there were no flowers spraying color or fragrance across the countryside…
and no promise of hope beyond the horizon.
morning was sadder than all of april
and only fragments of memories remained

Premium Memberwitches know what to do

Supersensory revelation
Explained to a witch’s delegation
They went to a higher elevation
As is their prerogative and their station
Enjoyed their annual celebration
Without the naysayer’s intoxication

Don't Know

Where is heaven?
On the planet of belief?
Where is hell?
In the pit of thinking?
-Don’t know.

Human is from heaven!
-A fallen creation
-Delegation of God
(Just have read)
As an alien? –Don’t know.

Still in the sleeping
Inebriated in the wandered dream
Will awake on the day of death
Will see the dawn- ample delay
The wakefulness!
And then what will do?
-Don’t know.

Premium Membercan you please call for us

An obvious misrepresentation
Nearly cancelled the large celebration
Causing his second cousin a huge frustration
We could give you a quick demonstration
If you agree to call the hospital administration
To give him apt apologies from our family delegation

Premium Membercentral park pigeons

Central Park pigeons were concerned about Walter M. Leed.
He usually brought them seed, nuts, and other wonderful feed.
They conversed among themselves and formed a delegation.
Flew to his house, to see if it was a funeral or weird celebration.

It’s my anniversary, he said, do you want to stay for the party?
They served all kinds of snacks and desserts hale and hearty.
Those pigeons had such a fantastic time, they decided to move in.
His wife moved out the next week; so let the party begin!

Premium MemberBaby Faerie Delegation

Where is the baby faerie delegation? The burgermeisters asked.
No idea said the twinkledwarfs, keeping track was a daunting task.
I bet they got scared, the mongrelbibbers said in a mean way.
They never liked any kind of faeries, at the end or start of day.

The baby faerie delegation was gurgling and bubbling in delight.
They had found a lovely apple blossom branch that felt just right.
Mayor of the Fleasflackers saw them but did not make any sound.
He was afraid if he scared these infants, they would all land on the ground.

These Hands

These arms are my olive branches
And these hands are my emissaries
They speak languages I cannot speak
And convey emotions I cannot always put into words
They have my full delegation to mediate on my behalf
To negotiate
To appreciate
To celebrate
Or to capitulate if required
They would like to think that they know you well
And they never ever tire of trying to know you better
Even as I try to sleep they are still obsessed with you
To assess you
To undress you
To caress you
To possess you is their desire
What can I say, they also know me well
It is only you who make us so inspired
They know who I love
And so they love you too, without reservation
Without hesitation
Without expectations
Often without invitation
Nor too much patience as you may have noticed!
They are naughty are they not?
These emissaries of mine
Without a doubt though, let me assure you
Your annoyance is not their intention
It is your pleasure that is their raison d’être
And for the next few nights, they’re really going to miss you!

Premium MemberJesus Teaching: Becoming Jesus Disciple

If any one comes to me without hating his father and mother

     Wife and children

 		Brothers and sisters

Even his own life, he cannot be my disciple

Whoever does not carry his own cross

          and

come after me cannot be my disciple

Which of you wishing to construct a tower does not first sit down

            and

calculate the cost to see if there is enough for its completion

            Otherwise

After laying the foundation

              and
Finding himself unable to finish the work the onlookers should laugh at him and say
This one began to build but did

Not have the resources to finish

What king marching into battle would not first sit down

Decide whether with ten thousand troops

he can successfully oppose another king advancing upon him with twenty thousand troops

           But if not

While he is still far away

He will send a delegation to ask for peace terms

           In the same way

Everyone of you who does not renounce all his possessions cannot be my disciple [LK 14:26-33]

The Shun

Sometimes ya get the unction
To systematically function
In the footsteps where giants have been
Delegation, infiltration
Ruling a sovereign nation
Where time runs the gambit, again, and again

Deliberation, legislation, intonation
Singing the melody of the Shun
We will not bow, nor give allegiance
To the entity that causes us grievance

Stiff-necked, proud ridden thugs
Treading the roman way
Banners high, waving to the sky
We will squash your rule over us like a ladybug

Land, territory, nations, world
Not a clue that He has a girl
Rising from the south
With TRUTH in her mouth
.....silencing the SHUN

It's Just a Short Distance

" I peer the shallow partition of the sea; the short distance of what may come before the days pardon, the sole delegation of loves affection pulls me into its province at twilights end convinced,  this might be love. "

The Odd Self-

self
whistles there
pure

I’m hearing
wise
of hidden

I am He
the Supreme Being
to serve self

the delegation
outwardly
in crown creation

all parts of nature
the true savior each other
from birth to taste death

why these hide and seek odd games
if knowledge firms not
the illusion goal of dream

belief and faith gives me birth
imagination is true mother
where false I die to reborn

earth, water, air, fire all components
with an expiration date
recycling one shape to other shape

all through ethereal guides me gone one
for peaceful life unity I make chum

in the world only I’m human forgetting all
in the odd self I seek the another in fault

Only Jesus Makes Me Respect Women More

I
At the start of 2020, which some call 20-plenty
Our churches began a Daniel Fast for 30 days
To bless the Body of Christ with faith, charity, integrity -
And heal nations, especially the continent of Africa

II
It might have been Day 3, that a friend came to visit
Her husband died a few years ago. She knew of the fast
Upon getting up to leave, she half-hugged-half-kissed me
And only some FORCE made me turn my face away

III
Later I texted the nice, attractive (younger) lady, gently,
About the importance of the fast; that Jesus is my LOVE
And I now live to honor Him. Without Him, I'd hate more
Preach without practicing, pray pointless prayers galore

IV
I say this to thank the LORD, who loves all genders
Though some only allow lady preachers under delegation
The Holy Spirit wants to overflow, already in us and with us
He is grieved, quieted when we deny Jesus, for flesh & fornication

V
O siblings in the LORD Jesus, the Holy Trinity
I need prayers, strengthening daily, moment by moment
Dare I say the devil goes about like a bright distraction
Ones we respect may be used. Plead His blood, rebuke ... repent

hulAba Loo

Juicy june
Misty blue
Fathom fair
Everywhere
I've divided the parcels
Before they were mailed
Ha, la la
it's just a hulAba Loo

Busted booms
Out of room
Impending gloom
Wash your broom
I've divided the parcels
Before they were mailed
Ha, la la
it's just a hulAba Loo
And when you're done with them shoes

Alcohol, huh!
Arcola, what?
Aviation, huh!
Delegation, what?
Reprobation, huh!
Dum founded, not
Got my diploma, what
From Magic Island, huh!

Run!!!
Fatty acid
Paper or plastic
Fathom fair
Everywhere
I've divided United Parcels
USPS they were mailed
Ha, la la
it's just a hulAba Loo

Tied my shoes to the door
Nailed my gloves to the floor
Now when I want to go out doors
I choose to ignore
Man hasn't revisited the moon
THIS SUCH A it's just a hulAba Loo

Premium MemberWorkplace Culture Questions

Quote from Hugh Prather: "Most of the conversations I hear
are carried on as if there really were such a thing as an answer
and as if the people present were actually in possession of it."

Shouldn't we all adopt
some sort of "busy" pretext,
display fake fronts intended
to suggest determined aims
are being seriously pursued?

Wouldn't everyone believe
that we are "busy" people --
intent upon accomplishment
important to ourselves and others?

Isn't there some conflict between concepts
of "empowerment" and of "involvement" --
of "delegation" and of "taking ownership"
(directing, guiding -- dictating, really)?

Consider whether these are not
confusing opposites -- messages
easily regurgitated: mere facile
managerial sloganeering....

(Uncertainty, easily detected,
is usually condemned.)

Doesn't everyone read Dilbert?
And who remembers
"Ready....fire....aim!"

She Is An Orchard

She is an orchard
beautiful red flowers
juicy fresh round fruits
smooth slippery stems
enticing slender branches
but she only permits me
to harvest with blunt objects
without delegation
