Premium MemberWon'T You Be My Dream Date

Meet me on the other side with strawberries and wine
take me on a fanfare ride, closer than the stars and moon
Light the evening sky for me be my candle in the wind
loose my senses make me tilt and swoon
as you draw me in, then draw me out.

Inside this love cocoon for two
a lovely dream must bloom
for if I wake then you'll be gone too soon.

Hide me like a bride on a wedding night of silk
place a kiss upon my lips, I'll pretend I'm wide awake
take me to the brook be my decanter of milk
I'd rather stay asleep for goodness sake
with eyes enclosed, I can pretend
that your the wave and I'm the shore
and together we will sleep, forever more.

Seed

Seed

I learned a lot from my past
And entwined into my future
Brought a mirror that reflects
My utmost gratitude and lessons
Like superior goods kept in a luxurious decanter
Walking by the Spirit and waiting to catch
the last train toward
what is to come

As loving and forgiving yourself
Are like a mirror soul
That sometimes leads to a tumultuous relationship
with indecorous perception
But it will grows in you
Just like a seed turning
Into a pulchritudinous tree

Premium MemberGetting a Look At the Decanter

sticky warm sanguine blood
reposing in Dracula’s crystal decanter
his bride terrified to ask whose it is
her parents have been missing for a week
his black wolf howls his displeasure when she gets close to the table
she scurries away, but not before seeing two black spiders
he always promised to transmogrify them into creatures
if they did not stop interfering
she goes to bed that night with a sad heart

He Writes

Sometimes he writes to her
upon a white paper moon.
The ink of his thoughts
dries to invisibility
as he folds the love-letter
into an origami model
of a flightless bird,
a creature now extinct.

He imagines her putting on her face,
dressing up
getting ready to take a taxi
to his Bayswater, London apartment.
At such times
he waits like Noel Coward
for his China dream girl
in some long forgotten play.

He picks up
a cut glass whiskey decanter
swirls the last inch of Irish around
smiles as she appears once more
at his door.

Premium MemberStill Life Instrumental

Allegro
Crystal decanter, wine in a glass.
Tabletop woodwinds court candlestick brass.
Fine sterling service, stems in a vase.
High-tone enamel meets low double bass.
Pale yellow roses, peaches and grapes.
Clarinet colors tint saxophone shapes.
Citrus in concert, lemon and lime.
Echoes of summer in three-quarter time.

Adagio
There are brazen implications
In these muted, pulsing horns.
The strings are thick and creamy.
The bass line’s strewn with thorns.

Scherzo
Nail-tap percussion, tremolo drill.
Twelve o’clock whistle sounds cranky and shrill.
Shipping yard sunlight, loading dock shade.
Forklift holds pallet in mid-serenade.
Mustard-stained napkin, Styrofoam cup.
Strains of a power saw being tuned up,
Baritone belt sander wailing away.
White glove allegro turned grease monkey gray.

Rondo
Without darkness, there could be no light.
The sun would rise unnoticed.
Without silence, there could be no song
From either bird or locust.
Without winter, there could be no spring.
No flowers for your lover.
Without music, there could be no art.
They flatter one another.

Premium MemberWe Recruit a New Mayor

Seven applied for the position of traveling mayor.
Glorious sunrise shined upon the eager new applicants.
Welcome splurge of information came forth rather quickly.
We appoint watchers to take notes on contenders.

Spit dribble out of a mouth twice –ugh!
The concept of napkin never entered his mind?
A divorce does not affect your chances anymore.
The highway of life is freer these days.

To clarify, this event is the starting place.
No protest of unfairness will be tolerated here.
We recruit people as far away as Nebraska.
Old Officer Farley is our most intense interviewer.

The charity of strangers brings food for breakfast.
Try chicken and waffles it is scrumptiously delicious.
The address on our resume’ should be current.
A reform of the application is not tolerated.

This edition is the tradition we always use.
How shallow or deep, words are your choice.
The crystal decanter is full of lemonade now.
Just another mayor race in our fair city.

Premium MemberPlucking Valour

Courage is the pivot between cowardice and recklessness

harmony for the brave soul as reward for stout-heartedness

I used to enjoy pints of Guiness with a few drams alongside

shared my sorrows with the bottle which never talked back

As realist and high society drinker my glass was never empty

not half full but always topped to the brim and quite far beyond

Slowly my soul drifted into its own drunken death and demise

gloom void agony and oblivion crushed by the crystal decanter

It was the bravest thing I ever did to admit my slushed defeat

and I slammed the tumbler on the slate floor near the fire place

The mark on the floor is still there but my own stains resolved

ten years ago I had the fortitude to resolve the demon of booze

Today I am addicted to life in sobriety and cherish new spirits

like love and compassion and drink Coke Zero on the rocks

I could have ended up as a vagrant licking vomit of my shoes

instead I found a miraculous journey and a home for emotions

Premium MemberResolution

Ruben looked deep down a decanter of hopeless glass

Engulfed in spirits of the wrong kind by his inner nemesis

Saturated with agony delusions and soaked surrender as he

Opened the screw top and drained drunken promises

Lingering at agony’s abyss he glanced at the sink hole

Unrequited love was a reason to live and not to dissolve

Tempests of titanic proportions tempted his resolve

In the face of drowning he tied a new essence to his dreams

One day at a time and sober he now faced life on it’s terms

Naked to the core he put the genie back into the bottle

Premium MemberSexy As Sexy Can Be

She was as sexy as sexy can be
   Body undulating like the sea
Hips gyrating at the speed of sound
   Billowing breasts holding gawkers spellbound

Legs as shapely as candy canes
Inviting as a decanter of fine champagne
Lips so enticing that some have said
Their natural hue was deep ruby red

So what she had three eyes, five ears and a tail
All and all, she was a real hot tamale
Just what you'd expect from a Picasso origina-le!

Eos Garden

Tonight we’ll share the heavens;
Souls knitted into one,
Fly together we, the ochre moontrails,
on gossamer wings.

The decanter overflows with nectar;
its sweetness permeates the ethereal void,
like ephemerous orbs when touched
by the hands of a child.

The secret Garden’s lit by Eos’ mirth;
polychromatic hues emanate from glassine showers;
Gait filling the place, radiating in splendor,
Warming every psyche in its solace.

Silence may, yet rule the void;
Plenary peace acquiesced e’en for a nanosecond.
Then from some aperture, a tiny tingle crescendos,
as the angelic host thunder their majestic heralds.

Come with me now my beloved;
Dry I your tears with lotus petals,
Come with me now, reach out your hand
and together we’ll share a millennium in a succinct moment
in this paradise called DREAMS.

My Crystal Decanter

There is a longing in my soul, the emptiness created by the absence of my fathers role.
I have had the happiness any child could wish for, I have had the sadness no child should endure.
I imagined you my whole life, holding me, scolding me…
Putting your arms around my shoulder whilst we walked, tripping me from behind like some fathers do.
Sitting under the stars, stoking the fire, listening to your stories, talking about glories past...
I’ve searched my whole life for someone to fulfil your role, teachers, preachers, non can plug this hole.
Anyway your gone, I’ve never met you, you were taken in your prime.
All I got left is your decanter, we’ll always share the wine.

Ballad of Stranger

BALLAD OF STRANGER.

I have come from a far off land
A stranger on the greyer steed
Thence I have seen my true love
Where all sweetness of her resides.

She is a maid of starry nights
With hint of wistfulness in her eyes
Having tasted her starlit fenced gaze
A pause for a moment to contemplate.

Honest I have seen such a lass
From dazzling beauty shading eyes
And pity for my heart to loose, sighs
Because her beauty has so many guiles.

No more I will bemoan my fate
I will tell the tale again and again
I have drunk from decanter of wishes
Blessed be my fair maid and her kisses.

The Oracle

The clouds blush with the sunset rays to flame the forest;
She sits with the urn waiting freedom for her lone love.
A wicked magician had caged him in the decanter;
For she had refused to yield to his love proposals:

At this cannibalistic hour the spell will diffuse:
Like a fuming fire he leaves the vessel unharmed,
Untouched she must now break this flask of captivity,
Release him from the sorcerer’s shrewd charm forever.

The oracle of the setting sun reverts time and space;
Destroying the power in evil with pure innocence:

And They Thought They Were Angels

the light streams
down from the sun
    on the cherubic
faces
     Let there be no doubt
that
     these
             beings
bring brightness
    into the world
sparkling eyes
   dart at
the sound of
   music
   laughter, joyous
laughter
       reverberates
throughout the
valley
      the endless
sky overhead
       trees
rise high above
     the fields
   we'll walk
with the chosen
    ones
   dance a
quick dance
      under the
pines
      let the day
flow
     like wine
from a gorgeous
    decanter
into
    amber glasses
lined up
        one by one
  on an oaken
table
      somewhere near
fantasyland
