CONVENTIONS
the
banal
 thoughts
as
excess
  baggage
widely
spaced
&
reinforced
by curious
 virtues
a
source
of the irregular
antecedent
in surprising
resurrection
of
the
inapproprate
derived
from
 pleasured
reverberations
of
prolific
understanding
mirrored
in
the soul

CONVENTIONS
fastidious
  pastimes
yearnings
  for
  emotional
reactions
weaving
  apprehension
for
  pleasure
&
to encourage
freedom
 &
  frivolity
in
dreamlike
  significance
simulating
  feelings
of reality
in
a world
of
  continued
brilliance
with
possibilities
in
 breathless
tenets
naturally
  enforced

An Ugly Visitor, Corona Virus

AN UGLY VISITOR, CORONA VIRUS

We have an ugly visitor;
Corona Virus is his name.
He's prowling like a predator
With an aim to devour or maim.

He disregards every convention.
Schools, airlines,... he shuts down;
Doctors are in his line of elimination
As he locks down town after town!

Countries are wearied from burying people.
Caterpillars are full time grave diggers.
Coffins in a grave

Nationalistic Trumpism:
Republicans,
willing to embrace fascism,
to reactively
and even ballistically defend
Straight Western White Male
economic
and political
unintelligent privilege.

Green Global Democrats:
The remainder
of our health/wealth bicameral Rainbow.

Truth is a feather
pushed off to the other side.

Truths are a body of feathers
within which our bodies reside.

OK, students of life’s healthiest purposes and meanings,
it’s time to regather, if you would be so kind.

Namaste.

[Silence]

[My EcoTherapist is trying to recall our bicameral minds with ecological bodies.]

[More kinda creepy silence.]

[I wonder if I have time for

The Conventions of Normality

Normal.
Just a word,
Six letters,
Yet so powerful.

Normal.
Suffocating the unique.
Destroying the unusual.
Submitting to society.

Normal.
Following friends.
Feeling fearful.
Frightening the foxes.

Normal.
Taking away abnormal.
Straightening society.
Creating the same.

Normal.
One word,
With so much depth.
One word to create a uniform world.

Normality is overrated.

Conventions of War

There are many of these it seems,
Always changing over time,
As present passes into history.
But none of these bad dreams,
Can clearly be decoded.
In one context or the next.
So the umbrella of convention,
Always leaks a little,
And sometimes leaks a lot,
When the storm of death arrives,
On the field of battle.

Then the storm spills into Geneva,
As civilization fights a
