u.s. consumers  
 
my life is full of different complications 
I dealt with them but problems now emerge
I solved them all but they created situations

bills began to escalate I had to borrow funds
friends were asked but they just turned me down
I sold my working tools as well as all my guns 

now my bills are paid and I became debt free
then the bank offered me a credit card 
I bought various item lifetime guarantee

after a month my credit card came due 
my bank said not to worry just pay the minimum 
and now my bill included 25% added fee who knew

Guess I have work two jobs just to stay afloat

producers and consumers

an ongoing war must exist
the battle cry is abundance or scarcity
abundant goods in an open market is the list
scarce goods in a protected market is a calamity

abundance leads to less sacrifice
which is never bad for the consumer
scarcity of goods leads to a higher price
good for producers but not the laborer

lower prices leave more money to those
the greater amount saved the greater the wealth
producers want a window to close
the longer the line the greater their health

government directs traffic to the wrong side
the road to prosperity is an open divide

Velveeta Shortage Alarms Consumers

Short supply is beginning to ensure
Cheese lovers don’t know what to do

There’s panic buying in the store
Unsure when they’ll be any more

Velveeta’s so good and healthy too
Gourmets are hoping it’s not true

So all who love its rubbery taste
Rush to the market with all haste

There’s good reason to fear 
From shelves it’ll disappear

So better quickly shove and grab
To take as yours that final slab 

The shortage is real and severe
Sans Velveeta, life will be austere

Countless millions have
Only just enough to eat
Not all this
Selfish waste of
Precious resources and an
Idolatry of
Consumer goods
Uneeded for life,
On so-called time saving
Utliity.
Somehow, we've lost a

Conscious awareness
Of our true
Nature preferring to
Splurge into some imagined
Utopia through
Materialism leaving an
Ecological disaster from our
Rapacious
Spending to our grandchildren.
