Conspicuous Consumers

Countless millions have Only just enough to eat Not all this Selfish waste of Precious resources and an Idolatry of Consumer goods Uneeded for life, On so-called time saving Utliity. Somehow, we've lost a Conscious awareness Of our true Nature preferring to Splurge into some imagined Utopia through Materialism leaving an Ecological disaster from our Rapacious Spending to our grandchildren.

It's all an act of desperation Sue.there are no winners, not the consumers, not the sellers, nobody. they feel the heartwrenching panic of not having their product sold so they lie about it's utility and especially about how much we as consumers need it. capitalism hinges itself on the idea that consumers don't know what they want as much as the advertising tells them what the want, what they need, what they can't live without, only 3 easy payments of $19.95 plus shipping and handling.
