No longer do i seek
divination through
antiquated sorcery,
Nor supplicate to nebulous
spirits in clandestine
reverie.
I renounce the esoteric, the
obfuscatory, the occulted
night,
For I have found an
effulgent, benedictory,
convenantal light.
My soul rejects
thaumaturgical illusions and
superstitious chains,
And clings to the
transcendent, the
veracious, where true
freedom reigns.
No hex, no sigil, no arcane
nomenclature can compare,
To the omnipotent grace
that answers every
whispered prayer.
Let the ephemeral
glamorous of witchcraft
dissipate,
I walk now in sanctification-
redeemed, restored, and
consecrate.

—A Sonnet—
Come, consecrate my silence with thy sigh;
Lay lucent fingers where my shadows kneel.
Unfurl thy hush until the stars comply,
And teach my doubting pulse what angels feel.
Unbutton midnight from my haunted bone;
Pour moonlit ardour through each hidden seam.
Make every secret I have never known
Awake incarnate in thy sovereign dream.
Let thy gaze blossom through my mortal clay
Till every wound remembers it was seed;
Breathe me so deeply out of yesterday
That Time itself forget the word proceed.
Belov'd—love me beyond love's farthest art:
Leave Heaven homeless, dwelling in my heart.
In corridors where dust still dreams of men,
The clocks repeat their hollow, measured tone.
We speak of peace, then fracture it again,
And call the broken syntax flesh and bone.
The cities twitch with wires, hum and ache,
Each signal pulsing hunger dressed as light.
We consecrate the rubble that we make
And sleep inside the grammar of the night.
No god arrives. The hope is getting old.
No final word will settle what we tire.
Babe, the world is turning sharp and cold
Throw my poem, silently, in the fire.
I stand before you Lord
I surrender control
I bow down to you Lord
I acquiesce to you my soul
anoint me with oils
grant me perfect peace
Anoint me with oils
let my faith in You increase
let Your righteousness and mercy
In me prevail
let Your Holy Spirit in me
continuously dwell
anoint me with oils
grant me perfect peace
anoint me with oils
let my faith in You increase
consecrate me Lord
shield me from the enemy
make me over, take me over
with your boundless energy
eradicate any inequities
set me up right
shape me, remake me to now
be acceptable in Your sight
anoint me with oils
grant me your grace
my Messiah, my Redeemer
perfectly in place
anoint me with oils
grant me perfect peace
anointment with oils
let my faith in You increase
.
I accede to you Lord
with obedient behavior
I thank you Lord
for giving me Jesus as my savior
anoint me with oils
grant me your grace
my Messiah my Redeemer
perfectly in place
anointment with oils
grant me perfect peace
anoint me with oils
let my faith in You increase
—Sub Iure Cordis—
If I must choose a furred estate,
I’d be a lion—composed, aware;
Who lingers with deliberate weight,
As though the world conspired the air.
My mane demarcates tempered space,
No vagrant touch, no errant near;
Love sole may consecrate that grace,
And sanction who may venture here.
Yet you—approach; I know your art,
I might concede a tempered view:
A velvet nudge, a yielded heart—
A lion inclines where hearts are true.
For others—pause, observe, depart;
No casual claim, no passing due.
I husband distance into art,
And share my kingdom with a few.
At times I range where shadows lean,
As though I ward some veiled throne;
I watch, unseen yet half-foreseen—
A sovereign most when left alone.
But should you bring no gift, no plea,
No hurried hand, no grand display—
You might, by quiet chance, find me…
Asleep upon your lap. I stay.

What makes (places/spaces) sacred?
Is it the structures in place? Or.
Is it the shape of the structures in space?
Is it the energy portals that have been there before the veil? Or.
Is it the veil that separates these (places/spaces)?
Would it lose it sacredness if visited by a giant?
Would it crush and pulverize all existing structures?
Would it be buried by the sands of time?
Would it make people forget the attention of details?
Would it crush cultured beliefs?
